Synopsis
Two decades ago, her family was mercilessly slaughtered, assassinated by the enemies who were lurking around, waiting for their chance to end the reigns of the Killick clan. With the help of her aunt Jean, Sarah grew up as fine young woman. She’s become strong through a hell of training that her aunt had enforced her to go through, noting that it will keep her safe from the enemies. She was taught that hunting the Hudsons down will bring vengeance and justice to the death of her parents and other relatives. One night, the enemies had tracked them down. Which took the life of her sole remaining family, away from her. They have abducted her. She was devastated despite escaping death for the second time around. She promised herself to take her aunt back and live peacefully without the presence of the enemies— the Hudsons. She planned to annihilate them. And, to do that, she became the masked rider of the night, annihilating enemies, helping the poor, and ending the reigns of the corrupt and wicked people of the society— all through death. However, as her plan went well, she came across a daring man who called himself, Clyde. Sarah found herself captivated by his charm. Little did she know, he was one of the enemies she’s hunting down. Will she be able to resist the temptation of the man or surrender to his arms? Will she be able to carry out her plan or risk it all away? Chapter 1 - Prologue

The Killick Family is well known for its wealth. As the first four letters of their family name says, — 'kill' — they are rumoured to be prestigious killers— assassins. No one really proved what the rumour states, not until one night. The whole neighbourhood was awakened by the loud slashing and sparring of swords and gunshots in the house of the Killicks.

"Jean! Get out of here and save my daughter. I will buy you some time. Go by the nearby port and get on the sailing ship tonight. Leave, have a peaceful life somewhere, where no one knows about us. Save Sarah, for she's the only hope of the Killicks."

Jean trembled in fear when her brother's bloodied hand wrapped around her as he planted a warm kiss on her forehead. Then, he distanced from her, picked up his two years old daughter, planted a long kiss on her forehead, and handed her to Jean as the thudding, screaming, grunting from the sparring swords and random gunshots echoed inside the house.

"Tristan Killick, who are they? Why are they killing the whole family? Come with us, you can't afford to die here as well. Our parents, other siblings, and your wife are dead!" Tears were falling from the eyes of Jean, whilst the young Sarah snuggled into her arms, sobbing as if she understands that it will be the last time that she will see her father.

Tristan Killick did not answer his younger sister's words, rather focused his attention to the man who barged in the room, holding a sword in his left hand as his right hand held a gun, ready to be fired anytime. The man's sword was dripping with red and fresh blood, even tiny pieces of human flesh were still clinging on its sharp blade. "Jean, go! Teach her what I have taught you!"

The man fired the gun to him, but Tristan was quick to dodge it. He launched a hard kick on the man and it landed on his stomach. It sent him a few steps backwards as Tristan quickly grabbed his left hand, twisting it in a very fine yet forceful move, and with a blink of an eye he had already taken the sword from the man. "Jean, now!" Tristan looked back at Jean, shot her with a pleading gaze. "Teach her everything I have taught you. Hunt the Hudsons."

A loud thud echoed in the room as the handle of the gun of the man hit Tristan's head, and had him fall to the floor. Jean wanted to help him, but he shook his head and he muttered 'go' in a silent manner. She had no choice but to go.

Before Jean could finally banish the room, she turned around and saw Tristan's sword pierced through the man's heart, but before life abandoned the man's body, he managed to shoot a fire and the bullet pierced through Tristan's head. Blood splashed out of Tristan's head, his skull cracked open, his head shattered as it smashed against the concrete floor. Life had abandoned his body.

"No!" Jean went numb, while young Sarah went screaming as her eyes landed on the disastrous mess in the room because of the splattering blood from the two bodies that were laid lifeless on the floor.

"Papa?..."
