Chapter 58 - Chapter Fifty-Nine Cadma's Letter

Ashina-

While in Andor's office, I noticed an unopened envelope in Cadma's handwriting. Andor and I were awaiting the vampires, his sister, Rector, and his beta, as well as any mates that needed to be there as well.

Angrily, I looked over at Andor, wondering if he purposely didn't show me this letter. I knew he could feel my anger towards him in waves, especially since our bond was becoming stronger.

Looking up, perplexed, he asked, "What have I done now? I promise you, whatever dumb thing it is, it wasn't deliberate."

I lifted up the letter accusingly to show him. He shrugged his shoulders, like he was confused.

I hate deceit, I am getting angrier by the moment. "You mean to say this letter from Cadma wasn't purposely kept from me, due to your irrational jealousy?"

Grimacing, Andor grabbed the letter from my hand, "No I haven't seen this. By the way, it doesn't even state who it is from, only that it is for you, and to point out, it hasn't even been opened yet. How would I even know it was from Cadma?"

Now I felt awful. He was right. One of Cadma's dragon warriors must have delivered it. In which case, it would have come during the daytime and both Andor and I would have been asleep.

I stood up from my chair and sexily walked over to Andor to massage his shoulders. That is when he grabbed me by the waist and put me in his lap. Turning myself to straddle Andor, I put both of my palms on either side of his face, "I am sorry for accusing you." This is when I kissed him lightly on the lips. When I was about to pull my lips from his, he slammed his lips back on mine and started kissing me fervently.

We didn't even know a group of people were standing there and watching us.

A cough startled the two of us, as it was loud, loud enough to make the room shake like in an earthquake. The pictures on the wall even fell from their places. It was the Vampire using some sort of amplification technique.

The vampire, annoyed by our show, asked, "Are we ready for the meeting, or are we going to watch the two of you make out for the rest of the day?"

In the background I heard Melanie suggest, "Why don't we all enter the conference room instead for this meeting? There are too many of us to sit comfortably in Andor's office." I noticed Melanie stare at the envelope and then look apologetically at me, "I am so sorry I forgot to give you that letter from Cadma, it has been in here a few days. I have just been so busy."

Standing up, much to Andors' dismay, I walked over to Melanie and hugged her. "Don't worry, it is okay, I understand."

Andor jumps up in shock, "What?? You were about to cut my nuts off when you thought it was me that didn't hand you that letter, but then it is my sister that forgot. You hug her???"

Laughingly, I tease Andor, "Well, she is prettier than you." This is when I push my way through the crowd at Andor's office door and head out running to the conference rooms downstairs, trying not to be caught by Andor.

Once in the conference room, I hurriedly hid under the table. I don't know why I thought that would work, our mate bond and the fact we can find each other scents like a ship can see a beacon in the dead of night.

I knew exactly by his delectable scent when Andor entered the room. Realizing he knew I was there. I made my move to tie his shoelaces in a knot to his other shoe. Laughing, I poked my head out from under the table and scrambled into my seat next to Andor.

Andor gave me that smirk I had grown to love, "Well, Ashina, are you done playing?" He laughed while everyone in the room, I am sure, was tired of our antics. We went from always arguing to this. I so love Andor this way.

I stood up, asking everyone to wait until I read the letter from Cadma as it was about the troops and maybe my brother.

Ashina, could you tell the Alpha Dog, "I apologize for trying to take his mate from him. I know you won't be shocked. I have found my mate, and you were right about the mate bound. I would never want anyone else but her. Funny thing is, she is Gandor's biological sister. Gandor at first did not want to accept her, maybe because he would always only see you as his true sister. Her circumstances are similar to yours. She and her siblings were dispersed amongst different clans after their kingdom had been taken over. She is offering her allegiance in hopes of a future alliance. She had a fiancé show up with her. Now I am in constant distress with him tailing her and me wherever we go. We are headed out to check on the troops in the morning, and she has stated she will help me. So don't worry about your pretty little head, we have got you covered.

With Love Always, Your Best Friend,

Cadma"

I am so happy for Cadma, a tear fell down my cheek as my brother has found his biological family and Cadma has his mate. I turned to show Andor the part that stated Cadma's apology.

He grimaced and then laughed at the part that now someone was trying to take his mate.

Andor stating out loud something about Karma. I glared at him and then we started our meeting. I am going to let the forces go out in planned waves.
