Aurora's Pov
Everyone had left one after the other and now, I was seated alone with Aphrodite and Martha. Martha had a sad look on her face as he patted my shoulder lovingly, while Aphrodite sat on the couch as she pinched her toenails.
There was a tense silence, for a while. Nobody refuses to say a thing. While several scenarios played out in my head.
The door opens suddenly and Aphrodite quickly stands on the couch inciting something from her lips. A pink fog surrounded the person who had just come in and sent him unconscious.
"Shit!" She cursed when the ping fog disappeared leaving her guard on the floor. "I thought he was an intruder." She rushed her words in a bit to justify her actions.
"Well, he's going to be okay right?" Martha asked worriedly. "We need more men guarding us, as we await Hades' arrival…"
