HADES' POV
A remorseful sigh escaped my mouth as I stared at her. She was truly a beautiful and magnificent creature. All I wanted to do at this very moment was sit down, watch her, and care for her - and the thoughts angered me.
I didn't expect her to ask a question like that. It was much too sensitive for me. Not even my brothers and dear friends dare do that. And she did it, making me lose control of my suppressed provoking thoughts.
"What has come over you Hades?" The god of war, Ares, who had interjected me when I almost choked the life out of her, asked me. And I wondered the same. What truly has come over me?
"Does the fated bond, bestowed upon you by the moon goddess, repeal you to such actions? You have never hit a woman before, Hades not even her."
I narrowed my eyes at the mention of her.
"Do not speak her name in my presence, Ares."
