"Here, have your medicine."
Keturah lazily opened her right hand and Vivian put four different pills into her palm.
The sight of medicine made Keturah feel nauseous but she struggled to throw it all into her mouth before taking the glass of water from Vivian to push the pills down.
After swallowing, her face contorted in irritation and Vivian smiled at her.
"It's not even bitter," she joked.
Keturah threw a light glare at her for saying such.
"You should see your face." Vivian chuckled lightly and Keturah rolled her eyes at her before resting her back against the headboard of the bed.
Vivian stood up and carefully dropped the glass of water on the bedside table as well as the medicine packs and container.
"Vee?" Keturah called for her attention and Vivian turned to face her as she sat on the bed.
"Yes, Keturah? What is it?"
"Why don't you have a phone?" She asked.
