"You need to rest, Ms Keturah. You look tired." Doctor Scott advised her and she nodded tiredly before staring down at the adorable baby in her arms who still had her eyes on her as if she wanted to imprint her mother's image in her mind.
The nurse who had cared for Keturah came to take the baby from her so they could give her a proper bath and place her in the NICU for newborns.
Keturah couldn't still feel the lower part of her body and she felt a bit nauseous and dizzy.
She smiled down at her beautiful baby girl one more time before the nurse carefully took her from her arms.
And as the nurse proceeded to leave the room, the baby began to cry for the very first time since she came out of the womb.
Keturah smiled sadly as she watched the nurse leave while the doctor adjusted the pillows behind her back so she could take a little nap.
"When will I be discharged, doctor?"
Doctor Scott stopped what he was doing and faced her.
