~~ LEON'S POV~~
"Holy shit!" I screamed when I heard what Dad said.
"Don't tell me the so-called urgent business you made me leave my empire for is this marriage?" I questioned, still disappointed.
"Come on, Leon. You've come of age, and I want grandchildren already," he complained, whining like a little child.
"Dad, I'm not refusing to get married. I don't want to get married to that crazy mafia," I scoffed, knowing very well how much we hate one another.
"Why? There is nothing wrong with her, and since you're a king, you need a queen beside you. She's the best option you can have; she's also the daughter of my best friend."
"Dad, why don't you fucking get me?!" I screamed.
"Manners, Leon!" he screamed back, and I could see the bartenders freaking out as the bottle of whiskey he held kept shaking.
My dad dismissed him and turned to face me with that serious expression he usually shows when angry.
"Listen, Leon, you can scare everyone with this gloomy face of yours, but not me, because I am your father, and I trained you to become who you are. Don't even dare to defy my orders," he said and left me.
I suddenly felt someone tapping me and turned to find him.
"Cheer up, boy. I know I was strict, but you only have now to enjoy your bachelor's life cause after you're married, I know she would put you in your place," dad winked and left.
This old man of mine never ceases to amaze me; one minute he's strict, and the next, he's behaving like a teenager.
"Hey dude," Matt hit me on my shoulder and took a seat beside me.
"What's wrong? Why the gloomy face?" He questioned and ordered a drink for himself.
"Man, my marriage has been fixed," I said, and he choked on his drink and started laughing.
"Good joke there... wait, you don't mean it, man. The mafia king himself is about to get married. Wow, and who is this damsel in distress?" He raised an eyebrow with a mischievous smirk.
"Not a damsel in distress but a murderer. It's that crazy girl that almost killed me." This time he didn't only choke; he spat out his drink.
"What? You mean that..." He couldn't complete his statement, and he only shook his head.
"Leon, you know what? Only remembering her eyes brings shivers down my spine. Although I have met different types of women, she's the first I feared," he rubbed his hands together as if trying to keep warm.
Remembering that crazy girl they call a queen does scare me a bit.
She's the first and only one to ever come into my territory and escape without being harmed.
Her skills were just unimaginable, and what scared me the most was that she was the only one who came to rescue my captive and killed a hundred and four of my men... like what the f**k?
And she's a woman for goodness sake; no Don has ever stepped into my territory and succeeded in harming even one of my men, but she killed a hundred and four.
I couldn't help but wonder where I would have been if Matt didn't push me out of the way when she fired a bullet at me. Maybe I would have lots of people coming to visit my grave, dropping flowers and my photos all over every news channel, saying I was dead.
