Sol system. Unknown

Planet Vahrian

Sist er ship Eternity

It's been a few hours since the Eternity left Trevelyan atmosphere. And within those small spare of hours, the vice admiral of the ship stood in her office while facing the clear window.

From where she stands she took in the very sight of one of the planet that humanity had ever fought to protect during and after the human covenant war. She sighed deeply at the simple thought of Trevelyan. A name given to the planet in honor of a certain spartan. Kurt Trevelyan, originally known by his brothers and sisters as Kurt ambrose.

Oh how she also missed him. She once met him before, when green team was assigned by her mother doctor halsey to keep her protected at all cost during one mission when the insurrectionist managed to ambush a newly built unsc base in one of the outer colony worlds. It was also during that time that she along with a certain spartan was forced to split apart from the rest of the green team.

It may have sounded like a very bad idea for most people, but Miranda knew of how capable the spartans are in battle. She wasn't worried about her well being, as greatful as she is, she knows when to accept help from others, something her father once told her about. And as independent as she was to herself, the vice admiral knew better to agree with his words.

Though, it was at that time thar she has had to deal with the ongoing skirmishes from an army of insurrectionists that tried taking her as a hostage. They knew how important she was to the unsc, especially to her father Captain Keyes. But be that as it may, the innies thought that going up against fresh graduates of army troopers was going to be a walk in the park, however that all change when they learned of one single spartan that stayed with her.

Five, or as she always knew as koa, sierra zero zero five. Miranda had no need to ask who he is when he first arrived with green team on onyx, why, well she already met him years ago, way before the fall of reach. She first met him during a unsc navy ball dance. It then that her mother decided to come and hear her speech about her classes graduations.

And as fun as that was, the sight of him and the doctor gained more attention from the people and media on that building. There wasn't no romantic relation going on between them at thar time, but after she and her squad of marines worked together while being sent as a guard for her. Miranda learned how he and the others like him were made, and not only that. Miranda could not stand by after learning how the original Spartans were created and confronted her mother, but thanks to five, he was able to convince her. After her mother explained to her that creating those like five was simply necessary when they were fighting the insurgents, Miranda allowed herself to be escorted by five, who offered to walk her back to her ship that evening.

Hanging around her neck was a fishook bone necklace. The one thing she has left when koa left to help defend earth from a covenant fleet of ship's in 2557.

Trevelyan she thought, it was the last place she ever saw him, from a mere thought of his name, it ache her heart. Even after fourteen long years of his passing, she finally was able to find a cure for the pain.

"I see your still as great in looks with your freshly cleaned outfit." Said a woman complimenting her as she handed Miranda a picture that she left on the counter near her.

"Hello Elizabeth. Thanks for joining me on this trip with the kids and family... I appreciated very much." Said a happy Miranda who went and hug her old friend.

"How old are the kids now? I haven't seen them since they were six years old." Responded Elizabeth in an inquiry.

"They're 14. You know it's ironic how that is, since it is the same date and day as my great grandfather... July fourth, 2419." Added Miranda slightly shocked to find that out when Halsey first told her about some of her past.

"Fourth of July. I'm impressed that people still celebrate it till this very day... unfortunately, I happen to like it, since history happens to be my favorite subject as a high schooler." Elizabeth told her as they continued through each halls in their stroll.

"I agree with you. Though, the Americans do love their fireworks. Which I on the other will be joining you and the family to celebrate it. It's been a while since I touched fireworks." Elizabeth commented letting out a slight chuckle.

"Hopefully the kids will like it. This will be their first time doing it." Uttered Miranda as she and Elizabeth stopped in their steps.

From the side past the window, the two of them along with those in the hall walked toward the side. Looking down at a planet, below the Eternity was the world that the unsc found the last three months. She learned from those stationed below on land claim that the planet's name is called vahrian.

Though they could only celebrate the event where the bas is at. They were, after all, in an unfamiliar world. One must respect the people who live in it, a quote once spoken by her father.

As the ship closed in on the stratasphere of the planet, eternity's crew were working on an ongoing task. The two woman exited their corner and headed towards an escalator stairs. While the automatic stair continues down, both Miranda and elizabeth took the time to busy one another in a small talk.

While the two strolled alongside each other, they saw from the right hall was a couple of people who they know of was heading their way. And before they could speak out to them, three familiar faces sprouted out from behind an older looking woman.

"Mom!" The three kids let out as they ran to her way.

"Kids, what are you doing here. I thought you were already in the pelican, so we went in search of you ourselves. Grandma and the others offered to join us." The taller of the kids says speaking for the three of them.

"We were on our way to the hangar. Come on let's head back there." Elizabeth Uttered as she hugs the sister.

"We don't mind the search. I needed to stretch these old legs after all... Although where exactly will we be once we arrive on these world?" Inquired the woman as she looked at the two of them clearly wanting to know where it is on land they'll be other then the base.

"Mum. I don't think that's a good idea, we cannot just wonder of the moment we land on vahrian." Uttered Elizabeth in slight attempt to dissuade her mother from her plan to travel the land.

"No need to feel all hostile hun. Your mother is not as advantuerous as she is before." The older sister of Elizabeth said in response to her statement.

"Agreed. However, I am curious to see what else this world has to offer. I have heard that elf-like people live there. Even creatures I have not seen before." The older brother joined in as he walked over with his wife and hugged Miranda.

"It is nice to see you, girl. "You look as young as ever!" The kindly genuine sister in law said as they departed from the hug.

"I should be saying that to you." Miranda remarks as she examines her large belly, aware that the woman is in her type of time.

"I have two more months before it is time to pump these things out. You know how that goes." The woman joked as she laughed alongside the vice admiral.

"All right, ladies. Come on. We do not want to stand here while you catch up on each other's past... Come, let's go!" One of Elizabeth's siblings exclaimed as she motioned for them to hurry up to the pelican, which had its pilot leaning against the aircraft's head.

When she spotted them, the pilot stood up and started walking towards them, hands on both waists. "Good day, Vice Admiral. Good to see you all finely better now. Y'all ready!"

Miranda happy to see her old friend that when reaching the her they both pulled each other into a hug.

"Hello carol. You know, you could've let me know that you were living in trevelyan. I could have used my personal Uber instead of paying the taxi's extra credits." Teased miranda gaining a small chuckle from carol.

"Very funny Ms. Admiral. You should be happy I'm kind enough to offer you a ride." Remarked Carol as she noticed Elizabeth's mother walking towards her.

"So you are the one miranda told me about. You've served beside him, koa?" The woman said recieving sympathetic looks from those around them.

"Yes ma'am. Your boy was and is still a great friend of mine. You should be proud of him" Responded carol as she shook hands with the woman who was none other then koa's mother.

At the sudden thought of her twin brother, Elizabeth put an arm on her mother's shoulder giving her a reassuring smile, indicating that the pilot didn't mean to sound negative in anyway.

"Come on ma'am. I'll show you to your seat." Uttered carol ushering for everyone to get going.

"So what was he like?" Asked the woman as she looked at carol patiently.

"Oh, he was quite an asshole back then. He is always quiet and rarely speaks. Prefers to keep to himself as usual, unless he considers you worthy of his attention." Carol remarked as she began to assist the woman, despite the fact that she could have done so herself.

"Thank you, it's good to know that there are others who had been there for him." Uttered the woman as she finished strapping on her seatbelt.

"Well you don't need to worry yourself Ms. Your son was a great friend to many and even me, rather he is a spartan or not. I'm sure he has thought of you once in a while." Carol said half lying, even though she has heard of the actual story from halsey herself.

"I see. It is great to hear how he has been doing all along." Elizabeth expressed her pleasure that her twin brother was doing well on his own.

Sadly, she somehow couldn't help but feel saddened by the fact that he probably thought he was abandoned. That one night, the day she last saw him, she has had to watch him waiting in a middle of a busy restaurant for both her and his older sister and mother.

"You needn't no worries Elizabeth. I am sure five would not want you to feel sorry for him." Miranda says, making the atmosphere around them more relaxed.

"Five. Is that some kind of codename?" Inquired Elizabeth's second older sister.

"No. It is one he gave to himself... You know, now that you said it. I remember asking him why he named himself after a number?" Carol pondered as she stood back up after strapping the triplets next to their mother.

"He calls himself five in honor of his cat, who died when he was young." Miranda said referring to the black and grey fur cat that koa said he once had during his time as a cadet in reach.

"Why don't you two catch up with each other. I will go start the pelican; after all, I need to fly us all out of here." Uttered carol as she walked off to the cockpit where the pilot's seat is.

"Of course, thank you very much Ms. Rawley." Sandra Lopez said responding to her.

Migrants, such as the pirates apprehended by Morgana's crew, were slowly being counted numerically. Some of the remaining rebels attempted to flee but were taken care of, even when they were given a second chance.

And by second chance meant one, death, or two. Locked up, or three. Being thrown off the ship and into the ocean with their hands and legs tied up.

While some like those of the migrants and people from the twenty first century thought that what morgana's crew were doing was outright wrong, they understand fairly well that they couldn't do nothing about it, unsure of the fact that they might've been one of the unlucky fools to question them.

And while all of this was going on, five and those of his groups were discussing some things with morgana and those of her own crew she deemed worthy to be part of the conversation.

"So How long till we reached our next destination Ms. Morgana?" Melvinia inquired patiently while she was cleaning a blood stain from the edges of her sword.

"We've got less then a few hours." Answered morgana as she then pointed at one part of the map where those around her can see that it was clearly a ranges of  clear lands.

"That's got to be at least couple of days on foot!" Exclaimed collon graves as he was unsure of their next adventure. "We should've asked Jason Hudson for a ride within his helicopter."

"It wouldn't be such a wise choice. If we had taken the the heli or one of the chinooks. Then the neighboring kingdoms within those lands will shoot it down." Five added as he gotten Collons attention. "One other reason, we don't have air jurisdiction within their airspace."

"Not like they can anything about it." Denied Kaori in response to the spartan's statement.

"I say that because in order to find the princess and her friend, we must travel on land without the use of air... If we did, our adversaries would be on high alert." Five responded to Kaori's suggestion.

"He's got a point. We can't allow ourselves to travel on air. It's better for us to proceed on land." Carly added in as she was pondering on the matter till she and everyone turned to see morgana strolling towards them.

"I agree with ser five and Lady carly. I know these lands." Says morgana as she went around with her finger on the map and stopped on one spot, and as she does halt there melvinia unclasped  her arms.

"I know that place!" Uttered the elf heart pumping for it pained her of a past memories.

"You do?" Zallar asked this time not as a jester to her but out of curiosity.

"Yes. My mother once told me that a tribe of elves once lived alongside with a kingdom, one who was of a rival to that of a neighboring kingdom. Sadly, the elven daughter of the said elf chief was kidnapped by the one of the two kingdoms... The one that allied itself with the elven chief claimed that it was their enemy that took his daughter, and manages to convince him. And from there on the elven chief took a long with him and a couple of his warriors to rescue his child, sadly. What he was doing, was exactly what his so called King friend wanted him to do."

"A set up I assume?" Five said earning a sigh of affirmation from her.

"Yes. You see. The king wanted something that once belong to the elven chief. Their lands... And knowing what they desired truly, the so called King had one of the ene my kingdoms bla med for the kidnapped of the elven chief's daughter. And so the elven father and his companions set out to bring his child home, however. By the time he arrived to the kingdom, he saw the body of his daughter being hanged alongside with the criminals of that kingdom. He wanted revenge and did the favor by taking the life of that kingdom's soon to become king. And after he did so, the elven man returned home after days of travel to witness the sight of his village lit up in flames. Including his entire family." Says Melvinia as she told them of what happened.

Morgana, who was aware of what the elf girl speaks, intervened. "Everything she says is true. In fact, Melvinia descended from the elven chief... Which is why you are all fortunate to have her in your group. She knows that place very well, thanks to her mother's constant storytelling."

Assuming that Melvinia's mother was right five added in his thought on the issue at hand. "Agreed. I'll take the better option without this two kingdoms prying into our arrival."

"Then that settles it. By the time we reached the nearest port, we will be traveling on foot... Although we only have one major problem." An aforementioned morgana says gaining a looks of inquires from those around her.

"May i ask what that is?" Questioned carly.

"Me." Answered the only other elf in the group. "Since some of you here aren't from this realm, I'll have to tell you that elven kind are not welcomed within the region of those two kingdoms. Any who walks in their lands are either slaves or prisoners."

"Jeez. This is starting sound alot like a certain history back on earth." Said a disturbed collon greatly aware of the fact that Sims and the others understood of what he's saying.

"Unfortunately melvinia here has to do her best I'm hiding her true looks. The ears has to hide... Which begs the question, melvinia. You'll have to come with me. Since we're going to the region of one of this two kingdoms, your elvish attire is in need of a change." Requested morgana gesturing for the elven lass to follow her.

As morgana left with melvinia everyone else then departed from their spot and went to aid the crew members with the issue about the pirates slave's and those of the migrants and southeners from vahrian.

Sarren's P.O.V.

Standing where she is, Sarren and her two colleagues have recorded every single event that has occurred since the aftermath with the pirates who have attacked and chased them around the sea since they first arrived on this strange world.

However, it was not her and the migrants that saved themselves from their pursuers. For it was the work of the captain and her comrades, it was thanks to her and everyone of her allies that sarren and the twenty first century folks are alive.

And speaking of the twenty first century. Without them sarren was uncertain of her fate, yet here she is, with every press of a button from her camera, she had them saved later for the future documentary that is surely to land a prominent stature in the small news company she and her fellow colleagues works at.

Those of the natives from within this world, confused by her weird act were either in a muddled of loss and confusion. But to her sarren disregarded their disatisfaction on what she's doing and continued in doing what the job description tasked her to do.

And while she was proceeding to record everything in her sigh, sarren  camera evantually landed on the armored figure of the spartan who was assisting one of the crewmembers with carrying a set of heavy boxes.

"Iken I'll be right back." Says sarren as her two colleagues turned to her in a fit of inquires spread upon their faces.

"What! where are you going?" Asked iken, though as he stared at his partner he found out the reason why when sarren started towards where the spartan is.

"Sarren, you think it's a good idea to go to him. We might not know who he is." Spoke one of their only other colleague.

"I'll be fine Jayna. He may not be the master chief, but I do know that he won't do anything to harm us... You guys should just stop recording for now. We should only save the batteries for more important events." Responded sarren as she walked off.

Although pirate ships aren't that big, but the one she walks on was nearly the same length as a small cargo ship. Sarren had to sped up in her trek due to how far of distance she i s from where the spartan is. And as she proceeds to do so, she evantually reached the spartan who notices her c oming from a mile away.

"Hello there sir. Is it alright if I ask you for your name?" Asked sarren having to tilt her head upward at how ridiculously tall armored man is.

"Can i help you eith something?" Questioned five as he looked down at the shorter woman.

"Wow, quite stern there sir. But I've only come to ask you a question about why you and some other people from the twenty-first century are here?" Asked sarren noticing the spartan shifting in a questionable manner.

"I'm not sure we can tell you why." Answered five as he lifted a box and walked off into another part of the deck where other boxes of goods are stacked.

"I really, and may I ask you that is sir?" Sarren inquired trekking after the spartan.

"It's not that i can't tell you ma'am. Is that we didn't come here on purpose. Hell, even some are questioning how long the twenty sixth century and its past counterpart will be stuck here." Spoke five as he glances to the woman who was looking at him questioningly.

"Twenty sixth century?" Sarren asked inquisitively even though she only played halo last nine years.

"Yes. As you can see what I am, I and few of my colleagues aren't truly from the past, such as the planet earth you might say." Answered five walking alongside sarren who was using her other camera to record everything being said by him.

"So your saying that humanity from your time are different then the ones from the twenty first century?" Pondered sarren.

"Correct." Replied five.

"Then hopefully you wouldn't mind spilling some information about the humans from where you come from?" Sarren told the spartan hoping he'd accept her request on the matter.

Without stopping in his trekk five still continued forth while he thought about it her offer. "I can tell you about none classified info. But tye other ones, I will not do so. For it may mettle in our internal affairs, especially some that might hinder the growth of your people's status."

"Gladly." Exclaimed a pleased sarren, happy to know that the spartan was willing to fill her in on her inquiries of questions. "Then would you please tell me how exactly did you know of the arrival of the people from earth who came here?"

"Advanced tech... We, the unsc have caught scent of the civilians from the twenty-first century since they entered this world." Five told her nonchalantly.

"Civilians? Perhaps you are refer-

"Migrants, illegal aliens or not. They're still people. Civilians is what us soldiers of the unsc navy called them." Answered five by cutting her off midsentence.

Agreeing with what was said, sarren couldn't help but go along with his statement, especially seeing that he was one of the most prominent beings in the video game franchise that people back on earth knew of.

"You've also mentioned something about you and your people being here. Is it safe to assume that you all have no other way of returning back home to unsc space?" Questioned sarren as she was quite curious of other matters pertaining their factions.

"Not that I know of. I was the first person to arrive on this planet. Unfortunately, I have no idea how the unsc came to be here on Vahrian." Responded five, eliciting an intrigued look from the journalist.

"Oh, really. How did you get here, to this world?" Inquired sarren.

"I am not sure. Even if I knew how I got here, I doubt I would ever tell anyone... Classified issue." Five said, reminding her.

"Of course, I understand where you are coming from. But I have one more question, and I promise I will finish." Sarren comments as she clicks and saves the most recent video. "Okay... How exactly did you end up with the people from the other gate?"

Understanding that the woman was aware of the other gate, which leads into the alnus hill. Five then spoke in response to it. "I am assuming you have spoken to Mason and his group?"

"Yes I have." Answered a casual sarren.

"I and my own crew, we were on a mission to find the ones that had taken a princess. On the way, ended up on a town. One which ended up in an attack from three dragons. From there on, we ran to one another... I also assume they were on a mission of their own." Five told her knowing that the MI6 group wouldn't mind him telling the journalist of it.

"Kidnapped princess!?" Uttered a slightly perplexed sarren.

"Correct. She's an important figure to her family. I and others vowed to find and return the young girl." Answered five as she then ended the video there when noticing Carly walking towards his path.

"Spartan. May we speak please?" The oni agent says speaking as she glanced to the journalist.

"Hello there. My name's is sarren. Darren creckson... Nice to meet you." Said a light hearted sarren as she reaches forth and shook hands with her.

"Nice to meet you too Ms. Sarren... But I need to speak with the spartan,  I hope you don't mind that. Would you?" Said a slightly yet uncaring carly.

"Of course Ms. Carly. Forgive me, I'll be on my way." Replied sarren as she walked off to where her two colleagues seen speaking with one of the migrants and two others of ship's crew.

After waiting for a few moments, carly finally started up the conversation as she spoke first. "She's a nice lady. Not bad one as well... Sadly, She's not going to be a problem. Knowing that relationship aren't you spartan two's strong suit."

When she said that, immediately two names popped up on his head. Maria, sierra zero-six-two. And second, Randall sierra zero-three-seven. Maria when five first met her after twenty-five-fifty-four. She introduced him to her husband and kids. At first he hadn't expected her to have kids at all, yet after she retired in twenty-five-forty-five, koa doesn't blame her. Randall on the other hand was a slightly different case... When unsc and oni found out that spartan-037 was alive and living in one of the outer colonies planet, they knew to have only another spartan to find and return him which is why they've requested koa, which he agreed to and did as asked, especially oni.

At first the two had some slight differences, they learned get along with one another, though koa wasn't the one to start it. But after he met Randall's wife and daughter he knows he would have to find another way to help him hide from oni all the way to this very day.

"Yes, but a relationship isn't something that bad... You would like it." Uttered carly clearly unconcern of the glance five gave even with his helmet on.

"Right. But I'm not one to busy myself with that." Five said answering her in a slightly small humor.

"You are a hundred percent correct on that." Responded Carly.

"As finally as the conversation will be, what is it that you wanted to speak to me about ma'am?" Koa asked straightly.

"Hey stop there!" A crewmember said calling out in a warning.

Turning to the other way, the two of them turned and saw a pirate who had one of the crewmember as a hostage while having a sword underneath his throat.

"This ain't good." Says carly as she and five walked towards the dire situation.

When the two of them reached it, those who had the man surrounded held out their weapons with arrows aiming at their target while others aimed their musket like guns.

"What happened?" Five said asking a man standing next to him.

"He somehow manages to slip out of lock and took one of our own as a hostage... Now he has our crewmember at disadvantage, we can't allow to make a mistake." The man said looking on in apprehension.

"Get back! Get back, or else I kill him!" The pirate said while waving his musket pistol at anyone who stepped back when trying to get close.

"Don't kill him, and maybe we'll let you live!" Replied one of the crewmembers who was none other then lady parrallyn herself.

"Oh yeah, and what. You'll throw me onto the sea with my hands and legs tied, I don't think I'll take that fall upon me as a punishment. I rather go out in my own terms!" Says the man in reply to the statement made by the lady.

But as unfortunate as his words may be, the pirate began to get more apprehensive when he caught sight of the spartan and that of morgana who joined him as they stepped forth.

"Stay back. You two will lose a crewmember rather i die or not!" Warned the pirate as he pointed it at the two.

"What is your name?" Spoke morgana in a question seeing from the corner of her eyes the spartan holding in his hand a small kitchen  knife.

"Why should I tell you woman, and please don't try to play me. I've seen how deal with those who don't follow your orders!" Responded the pirate with clear disdain in his voice.

"Then you understand why I did it. Those who do not follow the rules are dealt with, unless they do not do anything foolish, as you are clearly showing now." Morgana said staring the pirate back with the same intense as him.

The pirate grimaced. Of all the people he has met, these woman was not one of them. He could see within her very eyes that she has long decided his fate on this ship. However, as long as he had proceeded with his action, he was unaware of the small form of a creature that was gradually creeping from behind him in light yet slower pace.

While the pirate was still as defiant as he is, he made sure to keep anyone a good distance away from him. He had been planning an escape ever since he and his fellow pirates have been quelled off by the crewmember of the blue pearl hours before... Just from the thought of the that morgana's name made the pirate rethink his decision. He wouldn't be here if it was not for his leader's naive decision to go on a chase after such a small refugee boat.

And while the pirate executed his plan from the beginning, he made sure to keep all of those surrounding him distracted while backing up slowly to one of the small boat... Sadly all of that change when the man he had under the sharp edge of his knife caught him slipping. And seeing that he had no other choice but to take him hostage.

"Just as I thought. You would've never change your mind woman. Too bad bad, I'll have to kill this man, besides, I doubt you such as yourself would miss him at all!" Declared the pirate as was about to end the life of his capture.

"Now tak!" Yelled a familiar childish voice.

From behind him, the pirate saw the jumping figure of purlan hopping down at him with a dagger I'm her right hand. And as his eyes slowly trekked down, his eyes widened and the small form of a furred creature leaping at him with its teeths beared out and claws all coming out clearly indicating that it was aiming for his very throat.

While everyone was in an undecided situation, five was forming a plan of attack and understood that to take care of this man, he would have to patiently pick his moment throughout the whole situation. Which he took, and as he does he immediately took the chance and waited for purlan and that cat-like creature to get the jump on the pirate. And by the time they announced their presence to their prey, five in an instant unsheath's his combat blade and hurled it at the selected part of his target's body, which was the at the very center of the pirates man's arm, the one that held the musket gun.

The pirate could've pulled the trigger of his pistol in taking out the feline creature, but didn't see the blade that came flying from his left and struck his arm. He dropped the Flintstock pistol and let out a cry of pain only to have the feline creature clawing at his face such a feral like manner thar he let go of his capture, seeing that men was set free by himself, the pirate went to stab him with his good arm, unfortunately he couldn't do so for he felt a strong wind smashing against his face. The force from it was strong enough to the point that it sent both him and the cat hurling over to the side.

However, the feline creature sprouted out small feathery wings from its back surprising those of the twenty-first-centur people from earth except for the vahrian natives.

Those nearby the spartan and morgana stepped aside leaving a path of opening for both of them as they trekked towards the pirate who was holding onto his bloodied wrist.

As five and morgana neared the pirate, he made the first move by getting down to one knee and reaches forward to a flinching pirate who began to crawl backward on his  elbows while still on the ground.

Deciding that enough was enough, five grabbed the man by his ankle and pulled him back with ease clearly showing his strength to those around him as they watched on awaiting the very fate of the pirate.

"Let go of me you bilget bastard of a mongrel! I'll have your hand cut off if you as so much touch me!" Says the man in an insult that causes some of the people on deck to question the spartan patience.

Ignoring the murmurs around him, five went ahead and held the struggling man by his bloodied arm and clasped his hands around his blade. From that simple gesture, the single movement with the blade sticking through the man's wrist causes the pirate to let out a yell of displeasure while he continues to twist it and then pulls it out.

"Morgana. What is it you want to do with him?" Questioned five as he used the pirate's tunic to wipe the bloods of his combat blade.

Thinking of the issue about it, she finally answers it by speaking once more for everyone to hear him. "Tie his arm up for good, and make sure there's no other way for him to escape." Answered morgana as she and everyone watched five grabbing a rope handed to him by one of the crews.

As he stood there, the pirate couldn't help but to at least try and free himself from the grip of the spartan. As he watched the giant unwrapped the rope, the pirate attempted to pull away but failed to do so, for he was far too weakened at the moment.

Without regard for the pirate's condition, five grabbed both of his arms as he began to tie him up. He then started moving towards the ship's edge. Those who were not used to seeing these turned away from the scene, while others stood still and watched as the Spartan easily held the pirate over the ship, his legs dangling in mid-air..

Feeling each fingers released one after another, the struggling pirate finally uttered words of plea for he did not wish for his impending death. Unfortunately, five was not a civilian with a heart for him and would not care about his plea for life.

All the pirate sees was his own reflection shown'ed on the visor from the spartan as he stared him following his fallen form till all he sees was the splashing form of the pirate submerged into the very ocean.

While those around who stood around the ship's deck watched the dire situation. They suddenly avoided looking at the spartan who turned around only to be met with the feline creature from earlier.

Deha who watched from his helm commented saying that the unknown feline was quite cute from how it was flying around him in a circle.

"He likes you." Purlan spoke as she and Morgana approached him.

Bringing his arm up, five reached forth with his hand and touched the creature carefully without even a hint of hate or enmity for it. As he watched the creature, it eventually ceased in its act and landed on the left side of his armored shoulder.

"You should be lucky. Tak here only prefers the highest places to stand on." Spoke morgana as she chuckles at the sight of the creature.

"What is it?" Asked five wondering what sort of species it was.

"He's a kellas. A species of creatures closely related to their cousins." purlan said answering him.

"Cats i assumed?" Responded five.

"Yep... You got that right." Replied purlan as she called for tak.

Unknown

P.O.V.

An unknown figure was watching from a distance, ensuring that he would not be seen by any of the mi6 squad, as he was well aware of the importance of remaining as quiet as possible while blending into the perfect southeners refugees and the once freed slaves.

But the sight of five reminded him to be as discrete as possible in order to avoid being discovered by the Spartan and the other passengers on the ship. He must ensure that he obtains as much intelligence as possible about the Spartan and his faction without being caught, which he did by pretending to be as busy as possible while speaking with other freed slaves and southerners of which he is a member.

While strolling alongside a fellow slave woman who had previously served on one of the pirate ships. Even with her dried out and tangled dark hair tied up in a bun, the spy had to admit that she looked stunning.

But Jake did not want to get close to her, no matter how strongly his instincts told him to. His mission comes first, and not some woman he just met few hours ago.

"I am glad you can help me pour this out of these bloody buckets, Jake! The darn thing is heavily hindering my leg!" Spoke the woman as she poured the bucket filled with the bloods of those who has fell while battling during the skirmishes.

"Perhaps you should go to the captain's people to be healed, or you could try asking the men in green and sky people." Jake told her, as she veered her gaze his way with a skeptical expression on her face.

"I have heard of the men in green since the Emperor Molt dispatched a small force of his own troops to gain more land and slaves. But the sky people, who might they be?" Asked Dayla, who's mind was obscured by the name.

"They are a faction, or kingdom, as one might say. The southerners refer to them as the sky people themselves." Jake said referring to one of the people from the boat that had tried escaping from the pirates.

"Sky people. Do you think they are another foreign kingdom?" Questioned the lady.

"No. I'm afraid not. The sky people are more of a far distant cousin to that of the men in green... Though, one day you'll understand what that means." Says jake.

Without paying attention in his path, Jake was walking along with dayla, and as he does he pumped into someone else who nearly making him lose his steps.

Just from the impact of his head Jake felt like he had hit the side of his head against a piece of metal. He heard the shifting of heavy footsteps and opened his eyes to see an armored green boot. Just from the sight of it, he immediately picked up on who it is he had ran up to.

Dayla who saw the behemoth figure of the spartan set her bucket down and went to kneel down to apologize in behalf of jake, however she was stopped by five who set his hand on her right shoulder.

"You do not need to kneel before me ma'am. Stand your ground, no need to be afraid." Uttered the dried yet calm voice of the spartan.

"Easy for you to say. Your clearly eight foot tall in armor... Of course she would be scared." Spoke Carly who was standing next to him.

"Oh forgive me ser five. It's just that I'm used to serving and doing the biddings of my masters." Responded dayla as she helped a startling jake up on his feet.

"Slave. Your one of the people that those pirates had with them?" Questioned carly as she looked dayla over, seeing that she was still wearing tattered up clothes.

She had seen the slaves that they had freed from their captures, based on appearances. Carly can tell they have been mistreated by their so-called masters, such as the scumbag pirates who took them captive. They had not even been given adequate clothing to keep them warm at night, nor had they been given rations to sustain their bodies in their arduous effort to complete the ongoing tasks on the sea.

Which is why she made sure to ask morgana to park in a land near the very lands that the unsc base is stationed at. Which she might say was the least she could do for them. The HQ that is closely near the village of those two village chieftains  was only twenty four miles away from one another. And the docking port that morgana had chosen surprisingly was hundreds of miles away from the east side of the unsc base. On land, whether with vehicles or on foot, it would take hours till someone reaches the docking port, but on the other hand, an air vehicle would shorten that distance in less then three hours.

Which is why she was also glad to hear that a group of unsc civilians and soldiers had made contact with the native people who lives next to the docking port.

Which is why by the time the blue pearl arrives there, the freed slaves and migrants from the twenty-first-century would be taken care of by the unsc civilians and soldiers, as well as aid workers. Meaning clothes and food would be offered without question of who they are.

"What is your name?" Carly said asking the freed woman.

"My name is dayla ma'am, these here is jake. He was one of the people that were taken as a slave like me." Said dayla introducing the stunned man who finally stilled himself in greetings.

"Hello there. I'm jake. A pleasure to meet you."

"You seem to speak perfect English. I assume yourself from one of the two gates that the empire had invaded?" Five said responding to him.

"Yes I am. I was one of the people that were takened during the first attack when the empire invaded japan." Answered jake feElizabethng the atmosphere get more intense as the two individuals were staring at him.

"Then it's possible for you to return. Alnus hill has already been claimed by the jsdf, or as people say. Men in green." Quipped carly as she then turned to look outward in their left side.

"What is it?" Asked jake as he along with dayla joined her whereas they both glanced to tye side.

And, most notably, land was visible from afar, about ten and a half miles from the ship. It took some time for the blue pearl to approbablyach its first docking. And by the time they arrived, the left side was facing the bridge, where they could clearly see a large number of people working on their respective ships.

The only exception to their arrival were the people around the docking area, who appears have awe at the sight of the blue pearl, while from up above on the deck were multiple migrants and southeners refugees plus that of the ship's crew members was all waving down at the townsfolks in return. On top of everyone looking up and taking in the view of the large ship, another person who appeared to be wearing the same outfit as the men in green was inspecting the ship, as they were none other than the unsc troops and aid workers walking around, some of whom were staring at the blue pearl.
