As that of morgana and her crews were just finished with hooking the blue pearl to a full stop, those of the twenty-first-century migrants and the vahrian southerners then began disembarking from the ships deck.
While they do so, the unsc marines and the town's native guards were motioning for them to another direction opposite from the way the ocean is at.
Meanwhile as they were being led off to land, carly along with russel adlers and his group is seen strolling down from the steps till they set foot on the wooden bridge.
As they then were strolling on behind the southen refugees and migrants, the spartan who was none other then Five walked out of the ship's opened deck. And exiting beside him was the three twenty first century journalists that he met from before. Their lead Journalists, by the name Sarren and her two colleagues, Iken & Jayna.
Sarren, for her part, refused to leave the Spartan and his team's side under any circumstances, especially since she and the others were not too trusting of anyone in this world. However, while walking with the ship's crew and the Spartan, Sarren made sure to capture everything with her personal camera.
"Wow! This is pretty amazing. The sight of this place is incredible! Take a look at there iken & Jayna, are you two seeing this!" Sarren pointed to where the three of them noticed two fairly large unsc drop ships.
"Are those the space people!" Said jayna as she turned the head of her camera to where it faces the direction the unsc drop ships are seen unloading packages.
"Hey, uhm, five is it?" Uttere's Iken who shifted slightly.
"Yes, what is it?" Responded Five who still continued walking while listening in on what he had to say.
Although I am aware that you are a UNSC member, could you tell me the precise location of our joirney? You know, the planet, or world that is?" Iken inquired, knowing that the Spartan was accustomed to travelling between worlds due to what he is.
"I do not fully grasp this world for what it is. Even for as long as I've been in it." Replied Five as he made sure to pass by people carefully so as to not bump into them by accident.
"I suppose you are correct in that regard. But given that the locals are working with the unsc sdiers, do you think they will be stationed close to this port? Is it possible to conduct interviews with the people around here?" Iken continued, struggling with the angle he was in to turn to face the camera at five.
"I don't see why not. But I highly advice you not to do so... It is evident that some of the indigenous population is not comfortable with the unsc presence." Responded five, noting that some of the attendees appeared to be slightly wary of both unsc people and marines.
When Iken and his two colleagues took a quick look around, they saw that not all of the locals were too trusting of the space travelers. However, throughout their entire stay here, in addition to the unsc soldiers and people, there were other foreign faces present.
Russell and Helen Park recognized a familiar face right away and the two of them came to a halt along with those around them.
When the three individuals reached them, they stopped fairly good distance. One of them a unsc marine officer.
"Hello there." The marine greeted as she glance at them, and while that had continued on, her eyes lit up slightly. "Carly, is that you!"
The oni agent strolled forth in between collon & morgana. "Hi there xiamo, it's good to see you."
After exchanging embraces for a brief while, the two of them left. Xiamo entered first and spoke first, with the other people standing by.
"Hello Carly, It has been a while. Do tell me, please. How is it going for you today, oni woman?" Xiamo remarked, glancing at every individual in the vicinity of Carly.
"It was pretty decent, to be really honest with you, girl. I was given the assignment of infiltrating one of the cities as soon as I stepped foot on this planet." Responded Carly nonchalantly halflying in her statement.
Given that carly is an oni agent, xiamo was aware that it would be inappropriate to delve into her friends past and instead chose to take a different course in response.
"It looks like you've made quite some friends, and hello to you too as well spartan." Said Xiamo, observing that a few individuals in their vicinity were evoking a combination of mild curiosity and mild fear when they looked at five's way.
With a smile on her face, Carly acknowledged her friend's remark about the crew by moving to the side and introducing everyone she could recall of, due to the numbers of them. "Allow me to introduce to you russel adler and his squad. His second in command I believe."
Helen park took two steps forth and shook hands with the marine. "Hello there marine, I am Helen park. But please, just Helen is enough... This here to my sides are sims, Alex mason and frank woods. Those two besides them are kaori and lastly, lady morgana."
"Soldier, if it is not too much trouble,... Would you please take us to the leader of this town." Said morgana, even though she would love to stand by and wait for everyone to introduce themselves, yet she simply could not waste time.
Carly looked to morgana and could tell from the captain of the blue pearl that she was in a precipitance state. "Lady Morgana is correct, Xiamo. Our task at hand is urgent. Please take us to the leader of this town."
"Of course, please follow me." Xiamo answered, understanding what was going through their minds.
Five was observing everything around him, taking in every detail as they made their way towards the town's leader. And while he is still observing the place, he notices that some of the people that wore twenty first century clothes were giving him looks of awe and dismayed as if the very sight of him was of something of astonish to them.
"Deha, you there?" Says Five turning off his external communications so that nobody can hear his companion.
"Yeah copy. I'm thinking of the same thing you are." Responded deha who was aware of her teammate's inquiry.
Glad that his longtime partner understood him, five chatted with deha while he continuesly scouted the place. While he was cleaning the area, one person in particular noticed him, and she instantly stopped and braced herself as a surprise person emerged from the left side and gave her a shake.
The person who smiled and patted the young one was confused as to why his colleague hasn't showed enough reaction to his schemes, however, he gotten his answer when his friend pointed with her hand and followed after it. The boy's expression changed to one of shock when he finally looked where she pointed.
Five when the moment he turned his head away could still feel that the two yoingsters eyes were on him, yet he didn't looked their way and followed after the others.
"It appears that there are a lot of new faces in this place." Collon said noticing that some of the people he was seeing appeared to be abnormally human.
A majority of those he was seeing were mostly humans, however, on the other side, a good number were very short like people. When once he zoomed in on why they have such a hairy facial features, collon picked up on what they are which was of course to him a dwarf. After all, he's met one before that is now currently in his group.
But he that as it may, dwarve's and humans was all in the mixed. Only exception to that, was the few elves that were upon the ranks of their opposition.
One of which, an elven warrior trekked towards xiamo's and carly's way and ushered for the two and along with everyone to stop in their trek.
"Halt!" Says the elven guard as he stared at xiamo. "Lady xiamo, what is it you wish to bring this many people to the queen's abode?"
"Relax olevan, only two of the groups are with me. Besides, your queen and that of my leader wishes to see them." Replied xiamo who received a muddled look from carly.
"What do you mean, who is it that want to see us?" Carly said awaiting to hear her friend out.
Before speaking, Xiamo had been staring at the oni agent and had not replied to her old friend. Her gaze then shifted to the location of the spartan. Originally, before the blue pearl had made land on the dock, her commander had ordered his men to see who it is that was on the boat. At the exact moment when the passengers started to disembark, the commander noticed the spartan and instructed her to bring Carly and her group in. It goes without saying that the queen also instructed her to bring in Morgana's and the others.
"Don't worry yourself, it's only a minor issue. The commander just wants to see you all." Xiamo says in a light tone to carly.
As the two conversed, a guard approached the elf guard with a slight rush. When he reached them, the even guard nodded to his companion and stepped aside to let xiamo and everyone pass on by.
"Thank you Olevan." Xiamo uttered to the elven guard.
Carly who was trekking next to her friend noticed something weird going on and swore she can sensed something of a romantic relation happening between the two.
With a smirk on her face, Carly stared at her old friend and smiled evilly. "So, you and the elf man. Seems like you two have some sort of chemistry with one another."
Xiamo not giving in to carly's remark didn't turned her head at the oni agent's way stilled her head forth. "Please, don't go there. It is impossible for the two of us to settle down to that level of love."
"I've never said anything about love, but please, do continue on. Tell me." Says carly only to get a light tap on the side from her friend.
"If there's one thing I'm not sharing with an oni agent, it is definitely not going to be about my love life." Quipped xiamo as she and everyone walked up twenty three steps of stairs.
"Don't worry, I will not even try to. Maybe that is." Remarked carly.
After continuing on in their walk, the group eventually reached their destination. About six feet away from them stood two guards in medevil-like armor.
They proceeds forth whereas the guards opened the twelfth foot tall door and held it open for them to pass on through.
Once they've entered the room, unknown faces, ones that those of carly and Helen's team hasn't seen before was all looking their way. However, thinking that they were the last to come in, the large sight of five caught the people's attention.
He was of course the largest out of everyone in the room. Only one that came close to his height and size was a being that five saw as abnormally larger then those around them. The being's had horns protruding backward from the top of their heads closely relating to that of a common goat. Subsequently, the skin tones of both couples were significantly in a darker shades than those of Spartan and Carly.
Upon entering the chamber, the door behind them eventually closes, and those who set around the round table all glances at carlys and russel adler's group aside with sight of sarren and her two colleagues.
"What the hell are you doing! Shut that thing off before they confiscated you dumbass!" Sarren said scolding iken.
"Okay okay! I got it!" Ike said doing as his colleagues says.
"Ah, I see that our guests has arrived, may I know of who you all are ladies and gentlemen?" A Silvery voice of an elven woman said speaking out to them.
Carly stepped forth and spoke out for both her's and Russel's group. "Hello there your highness. My name is Carly. And behind me is a group of friends of mine. Right here is lady morgana of the blue pearl. Next to her are solar of the bronzebeard clan, beside him is young lady Melvinia of the western forest and collon graves. And lastly is spa-"
"Spartan sierra zero-zero-five." Spoke someone else who cutted carly off.
Five's head tilted up, when it does, he saw a man standing up straight. Immediately within his mind, five recalled back to the time he had last met this man. And he was certain that the person who he is seeing recognized him on the spot.
The man continued towards the groups way, as he walked forth, those around five moved away allowing the man more space. By the time he made it, the man with his right hand reached forth and waited for the spartan.
Understanding what he wanted from him, five responded with the same act as well and shook the man's hand in return.
"Great to see you five, or should I say koa," The grinning man says smiling up at the spartan.
"It's good to see you too as well, kirk." Five responded pleased to see that he was alive and well.
A woman of a foreign look, skin nearly as dark as an hawaiian stood up and walked towards them. "Ser Kirk. It seems that you know of this one."
"I do madam vasran." Replied Kirk as he gestured for everyone sitting in the round table. "Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you all a fellow brother in arms. This here is spartan sierra-005. Commonly Known by many as five. His real name is koa, koa hevaka.. He is an old brother of mine, one I haven't seen in a while." Says Kirk happy to have announce koa's presence to them.
Kirk then stepped aside and allowed lady vasran to step up to five. At first he was worried of how the spartan was going to react but soon eased down when she shook hands with koa.
"You got quite the grip there are five." Spoke vasran as she looked up at five brightly.
"Thank you ma'am." Five replied in a thick sound of his voice while carefully lessening the shake of the woman's hand in his own so as to not crush it accidentally.
After shaking hands with the spartan, lady vasran noticed that from the corner of her eyes was morgana standing, patiently waiting herself in silence. "Lady Morgana. How are you doing, my old friend?"
Morgana smiles as she went forth and hugged the woman pulling each other into a warmful hug. Those who saw this were quite happy for the two and did not want to disrupt the moment and let them enjoyed their company. Finally after a few good ten seconds, the two eventually ended it and stepped elated at the fact that they haven't seen each other for a while.
"Please sit with us." Vasran says as she along with morgana and carly walked to the round table and took their own seats.
Though every seat has been taken, some members of the group, including those of Zallar and Five, weren't able to get their own and were therefore asked to stand by. Although the spartan on the other hand not wanting to break a chair on accident due to his weight was at least thankful for not being asked to take one.
As everyone gotten their self situated they then awaited lady vasran to begin with the meeting at hand.
"Now that you are all here, allow me to start."
Behind her, a servant of hers brought out a four foot long scroll. Vasran first unclips it and let's it open up. The size of the scroll was nearly nine foot long in length, about as long as the table everyone was sitting around it.
Upon the flatten piece of paper, people could clearly discern that what they were looking at was a map. Green parts surrounding a small parts of the land indicated that it is a forest. Other parts of the map shows that it was a clear green land that the spartan and Carly was seeing.
"What seems to be the problem about that kingdom Ms. Vasran?" Carly asked.
After tapping on that area of the map, Vasran began her discussion about it from there on. "As you can see, I, along with a few others, am treating this particular location harshly... We were doing just fine, fishing and hunting for food to sustain our town and people alike. However, during one particular event, a group of soldiers that originated from this kingdoms lord, they came over to my small town and demanded that we hand over a good percentage of our men and woman to fight for them."
"This is starting to sound like a conflict that we won't like at all." Uttered Russel.
"Indeed sir. As you can see during your arrival. The queen of the land and I engaged in fierce combat to protect ourselves from our attackers. We never wanted this fight, however. The arrogance of the armies lord has just sent a messenger just a few hours before your arrival here." Said vasran as she the said queen looked to where Kirk was sitting.
"A week after the unsc's arrival on this planet, I paid this town a visit. Regretfully, the admiral was unable to simply send an army to assist in defending the town when it was first attacked three days during our arrival. Fortunately, she did grant me permission to lead a platoon of forty marines. We are also grateful to have encountered some soldiers from the twenty-first century. Kirk says as he glanced to his left where a woman in a military outfit can be seen sighing to herself deeply.
The said person veered her head around at those near her. Of course she was familiar with some that she knows of, like that of russel and Helen park's group.
The woman cleared her throat, got ready, and then started talking. "Hello. Some of you may know me, but I'll be happy to tell you all my name... I am captain Julie of the British army. As you've saw on your way here, I along with sixteen of my boys and girls weren't really supposed to be here. Unfortunately, my group was targeted by those from the so-called enemy kingdom who had attacked Lady Vasran. We could have dealt with the enemy, but I knew we could not hold off thousands of soldiers, especially given our limited ammunition and numerical disadvantage. Therefore, Sir Kirk and I have agreed to cooperate in defending this town."
"I see, if there's a total of fifty six of you all put together. How many troops does the queen and lady vasran has altogether?" Carly asked, her arms folded as she looked from Kirk to the queen and then to vasran.
The elven queen knowing that it was her turn to speak sat up & straightened herself and then spoke. "I can only spare less then one hundred of my troops. I hope to the light and the father that all of you understand, my kingdom can only spare a hundred of my troops. The enemy kingdom has a vast of a thousand armies on his side. We've been dealing with them for nearly two years. I've lost three percent of my homeland to the bastards of a king that stole my land, and knowing what he's done to my people, he has probably enslaved some of them. By the light I don't have to tell you all about the other things he's done to the woman and children."
While the elven queen was speaking out to the guests around her, five turned to carly and quietly chatted with the woman.
"We can't afford to wait behind any longer. The more we hinder ourselves here, the longer those that took the princess and kraeva will torture the kids. We need to keep moving." Five says, gaining Carly's agreement with a sigh that suggests she agreed with him.
After hearing the spartan, Morgana, who was seated next to the oni agent, discreetly moved herself closer to Carly. "The Spartan is correct; we cannot afford to wait here for much longer."
"I know, I know. Look, both of you are right. Let us just listen to the queen for a moment before we rush ourselves." Carly said whispering between the two of them.
"Alright, but if we are here for more than a few hours, I would recommend we leave while we can." Five nonchalantly told carly as his other colleagues all nodded in agreement to his statement.
After The elven queen spoke for nearly seven minutes about her issues with the neighboring kingdom, she veered her head at where Kirk was sitting.
The ex-spartan two breathed in deeply and stood up knowing that it was his turn to speak. "Now that the queen has informed you all about the situation with the assailant kingdom. I'll have to tell you all about the other issues that we are now currently dealing with."
"What's that?" Asked purlan as she scooted herself upon morgana's lap.
"It's about the southerner refugees. However, that isn't the only problem. We've received a good numbers of twenty-first-century migrants from the second gate." Uttered Kirk before he was then interrupted by helen.
"How on earth did these migrants get here, I wonder? Surely they would have simply wandered off somewhere else?" Helen park questioned obscured by the fact that the people didn't think to go somewhere else.
"Apparently, one of the people that escaped through the gate had somehow made their way here on this town through a pirate ship. But the aforementioned individual had sneaked back through the gate to inform his command of this world. Nonetheless, we do have one of his friends here who is being looked after by the unsc aid personnel." Kirk answered seeing the faces upon his guest change expression.
"Has the admiral considered putting the second gate under the unsc's control at all? We have the upper hand in both numbers and air superiority... Undoubtedly, if we capture that gate, we might be able to prevent the migrants from entering this world and preventing them from making things harder on the rest of us." Carly spoke up earning a few nods and murmurs of agreements from those in the room.
Kirk's expression brightened, indicating that Carly was correct in her assessment. "Yes, as a matter of fact, the vice admiral had posted out a notice that we will be taking the second gate. It is believed that hundreds and thousands more people will be coming over to thus world by passing the gate."
"That sounds like a huge problem. How long do you think it'll take them till they take over the gate?" Inquired Helen.
"Just a couple of hours. Nothing of an issue to us. We could have handled it long before you all arrived, but she was aware of her tendencies and wanted to ensure that tensions between the unsc and the residents of the neighborhood would not get out of hand." Kirk said responding to Helen aware she understood his statement.
"That's pretty understandable. Even though that is fantastic, how about we concentrate more on the earlier dispute this kingdom had with this elven queen, who wanted her territory? In your opinion, how ought we to handle them?" One of the other people, a man dressed in a rugged farm clothe said speaking up.
"The old fellow is right. We cannot allow those land stealing mongrels to just proceed on with their actions upon ours and the queens land!" An elderly looking woman let out voice filled with hatred as she slammed her fist down onto the table causing it to rattle.
Raising her hand to signal for them to quiet down, the Elven Queen realized her subordinate was upset about how quickly their enemies acted. "Please calm down. I know you are all obviously upset about the prior recommendation, but I am just making this change to protect you from whatever fate has in store for you."
"Your highness. What do you think the enemies will do inside the numerous lands they have taken from us if we evacuate our people from our home? They will be ahead of the rest of us. Our only hope of quelling the enemy is refusing our plea for aid!" The elderly woman said in objection to the elven queen.
"As much as I would like to convey our worries, the admiral can only afford to send forty marines with me, along with additional US assistance, of course." Kirk added that he was aware that these people were in desperate need of assistance.
"Why do you think the enemy is coming here with such urgency, and why do they want the town so badly?" Purlan spoke, capturing everyone's interest in her space.
"The reason for this is that they require it to outwit their opponent's child. Despite the size of the enemy's forces, they would need to conquer as much territory as they could in order to defeat their foes." Five said speaking up seeing as how everyone were in agreement with him.
"The spartan is right." The elven queen Spoke gaining everybody's attention. "While I understand that some of you fellow chieftains want to stay and protect your area, I can assure you that if you decide to stay behind, our adversaries will not spare even the slightest decency from your deaths. I can only hope that you all accompany me to my kingdom so that together we can protect you all and I will not need to send out fewer than a hundred soldiers. However, I will not force you all to come. But at least comply with what I have asked, please."
"How much longer until the troops from this so-called enemy kingdom arrive in this town?" A Nonchalant Five asked arms folded as he stared at the elven queen.
"Well, with the last raven I gotten about them, I'd say until the sun sets." Replied the elven woman.
"It has also been reported that approximately two thousand troops are presently en route to capture the town." Kirk Says as after he spoken, he veered his head to where Five stood. "Koa, I am aware that you and your squad are en route to a mission of your own. But we could really use your help."
Everyone in the room, including Carly, Morgana, and Russell, turned their heads to look in the direction of the spartan awaiting his response on the issue.
Unclasping his arms, five first looked around and could tell that morgana and carly both were expecting him to reject Kirk's request, especially since they have a mission of their own. Regretfully, he would need to take them by surprise.
"Morgana." Five spoke upon turning to face the woman seated in her chair.
Morgana, who had never wavered in her resolve despite Ser Five's enormous stature, merely raised her head to his helm and spoke. "Yes, what is it you need of me?"
"You know this land, you know the child and her friend. What is the estimated duration that we should expect to reach the children?" Asked Five already aware of how long it'll take them.
"Well, with two thousand troops on their way here, I believe we can only spare only a day in defending this town. Given our current circumstances, however, we are only able to spare one. Nevertheless, if we wish to expedite our journey. The best course of action is most likely to slow down the adversary. With it, we can dwindled the troops numbers down to at least a few hundreds." Morgana informed him only to have another person voiced his disagreement with what she had said.
"With all due respect madam. Apart from our esteemed troops, at least twenty-six of them, only fifty-six anonymous men and women are ready to defend this town. In what precise manner do you anticipate handling 2,000 troops?" asked the man, anticipating a different answer from Morgana.
"Lord Hathron is right lady morgana. The adversaries approaching from the east possess the least superior weaponry and armor compared to the queen's army... How do you suppose we deal with them?" asked the man who succeeds in getting support from his allies.
Five had to let the people speak before him, but with a simple step of his armored boots, he spoke up. "I can do it. I'll go on ahead, scout the enemies out."
"Forgive me sir. But how would one man fare against thousands of troops?" One of the man in the table said speaking up to the Spartan in disagreement with his statement.
"Koa is not a cause for concern here, ser Dasvek. He has faced far more hardships than just 2,000 soldiers. Give him the opportunity to surprise you, and you will discover how much of a headache he can cause for you and your pals." Kirk remarked, noticing from the corner of his eyes was Carly staring at him at the moment.
The elven queen sensing the meeting was coming to an end raised her hand up signaling for her colleagues to silence. Afterwards she stood up and stated straightly at the spartan.
"Fine. I will not stop you from even trying to offer assistance if your friend Kirk here is confident in your success, ser five. Still, I do advise you to exercise at least some caution. The adversaries possess weapons that will undoubtedly cause you trouble, such as creatures with atypical sizes and species that are part of their army. They will not hesitate to kill you... I hope that will be sufficient enough to assist you on your journey." Says the elven queen as she strolled forward and shook hands with the spartan.
"Thank you your highness. That is all the warning I'll need... It is best that I leave to take care of this immediately. I will be on my way." Responded five who then turned and nodded at those who sat on the table and then left for the exit.
Exasperated, Collon and Carly stood up from their seats, followed by Zallar and Melvinia. Before they departed to join the Spartans, they all thanked the Elven Queen and her companions for their hospitality and proceeded to the door.
__________
By the time the spartan stepped of from the stairs, he halted in his trekk and turned back to see carly and the others.
"Hold up five!" Called out carly as she and everyone moved slightly faster then before. "You think you can just run on without us!"
"Wasn't thinking of running. Besides, I knew you all would've followed me anyway." The spartan told her as he then strolled off altogether with him.
"Hold up, isn't the lady and her daughter joining us or not?" Asked Collon who pointed at the building they just exited only to deject when the door opens once again.
"It seems like you are wrong lad." A Monotonous zallar remarked as he slapped collong lightly.
When morgana and purlan made their way, the two then joined the group in on their task ahead.
"Wait, wait!" A familiar voice of a woman said calling out to the group.
Everyone once again halted in their steps and turned to see the same woman, already knowing who it was that had shouted loudly at them.
"Is that not the reporter from the other gate?" Collon said watching as sarren and her to colleagues came running after them.
With a heavy sigh, five just replied with slight indifference to collon and continued in his stroll. "Yes, I believe she's a journalist as well."
Sarren's breathing became labored as she walked, having to gradually maintain a regular heartbeat. "Y'all wouldn't if I and my team tag along."
Carly and morgana stared at sarren then glances at each other whereas they then looked at the woman once more.
"Umm, I don't think that's possible. Civilians are not permitted to participate in military operations." Carly says, addressing the journalist with a dejected expression on her face.
"Actually, I'm not sure this is really a military tasks we are doing... It's more like some type of adventure." Collon added in seeing that it wouldn't be a problem for her to join.
"Sorry, but her coming with us is not an option." Carly said, declining his comment on the subject.
"Look, Ms. I don't have to be in the front lines with you all. See, all I have to do is remain in the background and take notes. I do not have to be in the center of everything or be seen." Uttered Sarren hoping the woman would at least have a change of heart.
"I'd say let her in. Besides, we are all just surveying our adversaries. They are free to remain behind and take notes." Morgana remarks, indicating her curiosity about Sarren's need.
Carly saw from looking around at her companions that they were all in agreement with Morgana and that they were compelled to comply with the journalist's demands.
Seeing that she was surrounded by those against her refusal to leave sarren and her two friends, the oni agent eventually gave in. "Fine... But you listen to everything we say, and you and your two friends do it without questions. If you do that, I will not have to worry about sustaining the lives of the three of you, understood!"
Darren along with her other two colleagues looked at each other's way and then nodded in agreement.
"Alright. We'll do that!" Sarren Answered pleased to hear the woman grantinh her and the other two's requirements.
"Don't worry, we won't cause any trouble!" Iken says speaking up after sarren.
"Okay good, come on." Carly replied as she and the group picked up on their feet while keeping pace with the spartan and zallar.
__________
"Come on laisa! We gotta tell mom!" A boy called out.
An Enervated girl who was around the same age as her sixteen year old brother couldn't help but question him on their pace. "Why exactly are we even running to mom for Wilson?"
"Don't you get it. We are going to tell mom that we saw him. She's going to be so happy!" A Lively Wilson says.
The sister, who was none other than laisa, stopped her brother in his tracks as they were running.
"What's up now laisa?" Wilson inquired about the reason behind her abrupt halt.
"What do you think they'll do?" Laisa replied inwardly, worried about what their mother would say about the perspm she and Wilson had seen earlier.
With a slightly yet confused face, the perplexed Wilson spoke out to his sister in an inquiry to her response. "What do you mean by that?"
"You know, about him... I'm mean mom, our uncles and aunties, especially grandma, all of them hadn't seen uncle koa for a while." Laisa says with a great sense of uncertainty.
"I Don't know. But hopefully they'll be happy to hear of what we got to say." Wilson said with indifference on the issue for he was more focused on telling his mother about the spartan.
"Got damn it wilson, mom and grandma, especially every one of our family thinks he is dead!" Laisa says, voicing her mild displeasure with the situation.
"I don't know what to say laisa. But now that we found out uncle koa is alive, I'm sure telling everyone about him being here would for sure uplift their gloomy and dry mood." Wilson said in response to what his sister had said.
"Fine But hopefully you are right about this."
Wilson nodded to his sister Laisa and they both carried on with their primary mission. But, as they were running, an armored figure approached from the left and motioned for them to stop.
As the two were in halt, they both saw from the right a second individual, one who was nearly as tall as the spartan they had seen just an hour ago.
The two kids were merely seconds from fleeing the scene, but before they could run off, the first spartan puts up two fingers and signal to them in hush tone. Wilson not wanting to hear the armored man out shifted when the spartan's visor turned into a clearer shade whereas a familiar face can be seen through it.
"Mr. Ash! It's you!" Wilson let out as he stared wide-eyed at spartan sierra-G099.
"Hello Kids, I see you two don't know when to stay out of trouble." Spoke the second spartan.
"Ehhh, I'd say they weren't up for it today." Said Ash-G099 who sees no problem in whatever the kids are in a hurry for.
"That doesn't mean we should let them off the hook. The two of them manage to sneak past us." Said Olivia in a reply to her longtime partner.
"Only because we were in an important meeting with the captain." Responded ash in a casual way as if he didn't see no problem with it.
"Speaking of the captain! Where exactly is he heading to next?" Inquired Olivia who looked at ash with clear seriousness.
"He is paying the general a visit within one of the friendly lands they've recently captured." Ash answered back.
Standing in the center and giving silence a hard time, Wilson and Lisa finally spoke. "Well, can we leave now?"
"No. You two are going to tell us exactly what else it is you guys were going after." Ask Ash, who cast a questioning glance at Wilson.
"That tells me something. What really were you kids speaking about moments before we caught you both?" Asked Olivia with her arms crossed as she looked between the two kids.
"We were on our way to see our mom to tel-Mf*
Thanful that he reacted quick on time, Wilson breathe out a sigh of relief and spoke. "What my dear sister meant to say, was that we wanted to ask our mother if we are doing 4th of July in here... We could surely introduce the native folks here to one of our alien customes."
"I doubt fourth of July would even be held in here." Says Olivia aware of the wilson's attempt at fooling them, and seeing that from a mile away, Olivia stared at the boy with merely a deadpan look. "And secondly, you will tell us what it is you guys know that we don't."

"I don't see why we can't speed up our pace general... We would not have to spend hours on foot if we could just conjure a portal from here to the illadarian town's doorsteps."
The soldier said that he felt his general glancing at him and waited for his commander to answer.
"There's a good reason why we are saving that portal for later." The general says this as he draws his sword from the body of a scout warrior he had previously slain.
Understanding how resolute his general can be at certain times the knight chose not to push any further in his facetiousness. "As you said general. What are we going to do about that other one."
Following the silver-armored soldier's glance, the general swerved to the left where the knight was staring, and there he saw a cloaked figure crawling away from the scene of the previous massacre that had occured not long ago.
Getting off from his seat, the general trekked after the crawling person as his eyes followed the blood stained water of the mud he walks on. "Don't bother running elf, you no longer have a leg left."
Gesturing for the knight to move the cloaked figure, the general watched as the demi human was set on his back straightly. He stepped forward picks a sword from one of the knights nearby. The second he held it, the general simply walks forth and sets his boots down on the demi-human's chest forcing him to stay still.
"Tell me, what else does your leader have for us. Hopefully you are willing to be truthful with me elf." The General says adding disdain in his last word.
The elven scout with his face fully exposed out to the world, slumped back down, and after three seconds the scout elven just spits at the larger man out of distaste. "I Would rather die then tell you mongrel's anything!"
With a snarl of annoyance, the general held the sword's head close to the elf's neck and proceeded to stab him deeply, not caring about the scout's scream as he did so.
"Sad, I was hoping you would say something other then that. But seeing as how you aren't willing to fill me in on an important issue, I no longer need you alive anymore." The general told the elven man, and as he was moments from ending him, the elf did something he wasn't prepared for.
"You got that right human scum. Go ahead do it, I will not give up anything to all of you lowlife bastards." Spoke the elf in refusal, but be that as it may, his true motive came true when he noticed someone sneaking out of the area in success.
Seeing that everything has come down to what he wanted, the elf pulled out a hidden blade from his left wrist, following after that he struck the general by the ankle surprising the human.
Regretfully, the general disregarded the agony coursing through his left leg. In a straightforward reaction, the man reached down and extracted the blade from his wounded foot. Shortly after, he raised his sword and displayed his hateful gaze. In a final move, he brought the blade down on the elven man's chest, killing him there and then.
"General, we got a problem!" A knight said strolling towards the man.
"Speak?" The general says as he took two to six steps forth and halted.
"One of our men is hiding within the town of Illidarian; he has not sent the message that he was supposed to." The knight answered as he watched general slowly sheathing his sword while returning the other one to its original wielder.
"As I suspected. I knew that fool would Evantually be found by the enemy. However, this means we will have to speed up on our pace. Tell the others that we are going to burn that town to the ground today." The general ordered as he watched the knight giving him a nod and left.
