Amelia got to where the car was in no time.
Calla smiled warmly at the cute little girl in front of her. For the first time, Calla saw Amelia without Cutie.
She raised an eyebrow. " Ame, What happened to your doll?."
Amelia sighed lightly. "The handsome man needed an assurance that I will come back with his wife, so I gave him Cutie as an assurance, or else he could have followed me."
Calla was touched by Amelia's words.
Amelia never gave anyone her doll for more than a minute, but she had given it to Davis just to prevent him from following her further into the forest.
"Thanks, Ame, you are the best," she said gently placing a kiss on her forehead.
Amelia smiled sweetly at her. "Thanks, you are the best in the world."
"Am feeling jealous of the both of you," Liam said while pouting his lips playfully.
Amelia and Calla laughed. "You are the best amongst the best," they said in unison and the three of them laughed even more.
"I have to go now, Amelia, take care of yourself and you too, Liam," she said slightly hugging the birth of them before stepping out of the car.
"I will miss you," Amelia said in a sad tone.
"I will miss you more." Calla didn't want to leave the little girl but she had no choice.
"Liam, take care of her." she sounded like she was commanding him.
Liam frowned, "what! Am I now her babysitter?." he whined.
She chuckled, "Don't cause any trouble."
Before he could respond she had already left.
He laughed and then his gaze turned serious.
"You can manage without Cutie until tomorrow." He said in a serious tone.
Amelia nodded. "I can manage. Do you want to go and train with me? Mom was teaching me how to shoot last week, I think am becoming good at it. I can't wait to show her how good I have become at shooting." she said excitedly not minding the way Liam had spoken to her earlier. He was only nice to Calla and no one else especially her, because he thought she had stolen Calla from him.
Liam looked at the little girl who just entered the car. Other children of her age would be scared to even see a gun, but here she was telling him how good she had become at shooting.
He spoke in the usual tone he used while talking to her. "Can you shoot with your eyes closed?."
She hadn't expected the question but she was glad he had asked. "Yes, I learned how to do that also. All I want to learn now is how to handle a sniper."
Liam almost choked after hearing what the little girl had just said. She wanted to learn how to use a sniper, how fascinating.
"I can't teach you how to use a sniper, you are too young." It wasn't because she was too young that he refused to teach her, but because he knew her mother would be mad at him if he teaches her how to use a sniper.
As if reading his thoughts, Amelia said. "I won't tell Mom, I promise," she said while placing her little hand on her chest.
Liam wasn't moved by her words, rather he spoke in a commanding tone. "Leave here, go and train by yourself but don't enter the weapons room or else I would punish you severely."
She knew he was serious about it, so she dejectedly came out of the car and went towards the glass house that was not far away from where the car was.
She heard the sound of the car engine and when she turned around the car had already disappeared.
Meanwhile in Davis's car...
The silence was too unbearable got Calla, since she got to where Davis was, he hadn't spoken even a single word to her. He had simply given her the Barbie doll and motioned for her to enter the car while Garcia and Marcus entered the other car, leaving both of them alone.
Calla couldn't stand the silence anymore.
"Are you going to punish me?." She asked in a cold tone.
He didn't respond, he continued driving.
She got pissed off by his reaction.
"I don't like the fact that you are ignoring me, Mr Williams." She said in a serious tone.
He glanced at her, then he started the car.
"You broke the rules, Calla. Yes, you are going to be punished." he sounded dead serious.
She looked at him with fierce eyes. "You can't punish me."
He chuckled lightly. "I sure can. You want to see about that?."
She gave him a challenging look. "If you punish me, then forget about the show."
He fell silent for a minute. He wanted her to do the show and at the same time, he wanted to punish her to prove to her that he was serious about the punishment.
He finally concluded. "I am letting this one slide, but next time I am going to punish you if you break the rules again," he said seriously.
She was surprised to hear that from him, she wasn't expecting him to let it slide so easily, he wanted her to do the show.
She smiled inwardly.
"Where is the necklace for the show," she asked after he started driving again.
"I will give it to you once it is time for the show," he said while focusing on the show.
Calla remembered something. Didn't Marcus tell her the show was about to start when he came to pick her up from the house? She thought by now the show must have ended.
"Isn't it too late to attend the show?." she asked with a puzzled look on her face.
"The show will start by 7 pm," he said.
She looked at him with shock. So Marcus had lied to her. She would deal with him later.
Now she had to focus on the show.
