As the bright light finally subsided, I could hear the loud chattering of people.
"Hyah! Hyah!" I could hear the loud sound of people shouting.
I opened my eyes to look around. I was in a training ground and there were a lot of people here, hitting their swords on some training dummies.
There was even something like barracks near the training grounds.
"Wow. The sound and the moves they are doing, it looks so real!!" I said.
I was genuinely excited at seeing all of this. I could even feel the air around me and breathe it. This is too real!
"Hey newbie!" Someone shouted at me from far!
"Who?" I asked.
He ran towards me at an unbelievable speed. The distance between us was at least 20 metres!
"I am the instructor, Earl Selles! Nice to meet you." He shouted.
'So noisy.'
On seeing him close, he looked like a muscular, tall, hulking man. He has black, messy, medium length hair that is held back by a black headband. He has a rugged face paired with facial hair, he has a missing right eye and scar in that area. His missing eye is replaced by a removable fake eye which looked a little strange but I don't know how.
As I was looking at him, a screen popped up in front of me.

'Wow, that's a lot of information.' I thought.
"Yeah, nice to meet you too." I said as we shook our hands.
"You must be a new 'World Traveller'." He said.
The NPCs in this game call the players as 'World Traveller' since in the game's story, both of our worlds have collided and opened up a portal to each other.
"Yeah, you are correct." I said.
"Then, you should already begin training! Come on, here's your sword!" He shouted as he threw a wooden sword at me but I couldn't catch it and it fell to the ground.
He's old but quite active.
I picked up the sword and headed towards one of the training dummies. It looked like a scarecrow which is usually put up in a field.
I gave a light blow to the dummy and it didn't even budge.

'I should try hard.' I thought as I started giving more pressure on my blows.
