I sighed after two straight hours of gaming.
"So, how was the gaming?" My mother asked.
She had opened the game pod and removed the headgear from my head.
*deep breathing*
"What happened!? Was there something wrong with this game!?" She said worriedly. She began checking my head for a fever.
Aaron was actually crying inside his mind. A beautiful girl had come to save him even if it was in the game.
'Somebody who shouts at their mother for a girl is complete trash.' He thought as he pictured Buddha inside his mind.
"Nothing! The game's actually better than I had imagined!" I said in an excited voice.
She looked at me with a questioned look but then shook away her thoughts
"Anyways, I will try this game myself later." She said as she smiled.
"N-No! Why?" I asked with hesitation.
'No online games are safe!' I thought.
This game wasn't for kids. You can have sexual interactions with some NPCs or players if both side agrees to it. Also, there's some amount of nudity in the main quests.
"I want try the game of the future since this game pod costs a lot." She said.
Our family is between the line of middle-class and rich. So, even for our family, the price was very much. But, when I showed my mother that we could earn money from this game, she decided to buy.
I had to show her a ton of videos about people earning money from this game to make her buy it.
"Actually, I died in that game. So, it will two days to play again." I said.
"What!? Okay, I guess. I will play it after two days." She said.
'I have just delayed my death.' I thought.
"Okay, tomorrow's your school, so go to sleep now." She said.
"Okay." I said as I got off the game pod.

At school, during history class.
'Hey Aaron, have you heard about the game which is trending recently.' Jake whispered.
The history teacher was teaching and we were talking in the backbenches.
'Yeah, I did. I have even bought one of those game pods.' I whispered.
'Really!? Then, we three can make up a party to play that game!' Jake whispered.
"De..!fini..te..ly!" Alex said. He couldn't lower his voice.
He was literally hiding a whole dinner under his desk. Noodles, chips and chewing gum.
'Shhh....Really, someday the teacher's gonna find out.' I whispered.
"Na..h! She'll ne..ver!" He said loudly.
'Forget it. Let him get caught.' Jake said.
'Anyways, give me a gum.' I whispered.
He handed me over the gum and we resisted through the whole lectures for nearly six hours.

I logged into the game as soon as I reached home. My mother has gone to work and my father isn't with us anymore so there was nobody home.

'This font again, hadn't I changed it?!' I thought.
This was the second day of the game so the company might bring patches to fix this glitch but opposite to Aaron's luck, he won't be able to see it.
A bright light shined and I was in the Habes village again.
The air felt real again and I could hear the chattering of people and the sound of the birds. Aaron was standing inside the training grounds.
'Is the synchronisation high again!? The company should really bring a patch update soon enough!' I complained inside my mind.
'Wait. Should'nt I be in the Habes Forest since I last logged out there!' I complained again.
I started to scan my surroundings and noticed something odd.
'Why are there no players here and only NPCs?'
Aaron was finding it strange that so many were odd.
'Was there some kind of server maintenance and I was the only player who was able log in or something like that?'
Aaron started to make up the likeliest scenario which could have happened.
'I should log out but before that, I should add Jake and Alex in my friend list.'

I searched for it and added him too in my friend list.
