I panicked as I turned around, trying to see if I could find my way out. Leilani must have sent me somewhere else, and here I was, thinking I could trust them.
I squinted my eyes, and from afar, I could see some men dragging out two people. And they were dead? My heart skipped painfully, and fear gripped me when I saw the blood trailing behind them.
