Xander's room wasn't anything special. There was a not so big bed in the middle of the room that kissed the wall. It looked quite ordinary and comfy.
There was also a table and chair beside the bed with his wardrobe and bags.
On the other side of the bed... Was his most prized possession, his gaming chair.
The chair adjusts to the user's taste and is padded with foam... And it, vibrates.
Xander didn't immediately hop in to the game though, he went to take a bath first. If the game is as good as Harris claimed it to be, then he'll be staying in the game world for a while now.
He walked to the side of his bed and looked at himself in the mirror. He wasn't anything special.
He had short black hair that looked somewhat rough. His face looked dull and his skin texture was pale.
He didn't care about how he looked, though he concluded that playing games and studying is not giving him enough time to sleep and eat properly.
"I don't even have enough time to take care of myself." He said, turning around to have his bath.
After bathing and taking care of his room, he finally carried a helmet from beside his bed where there was a socket.
After plugging his flash drive in the helmet made a beeping sound and came on. The light from the edges illuminated the room a little.
This helmet was the virtual reality transmigrator (VRT). It transfers the players consciousness into the game world.
Xander didn't know how it did it, but he also doesn't care. All he knew was that the helmet cost him a lot of money, like a lot.
It's not only the helmet that people use nowadays, there's also comething called a virtual reality capsule.
It's just a large cylindrical glass with a bed and more comfortable area inside, that one costs more than he could afford right now.
Throwing all his thoughts away Xander layed on the chair and put the helmet on. He tapped a button on it and it showed a few blue bars in front of him.
He smiled. The fact that the helmet can continue running even when there might be a power problem was very reassuring.
A little over ten seconds Xander finally closed his eyes and immediately he felt that they weren't heavy anymore, he opened his eyes.
He found himself in a room painted all white. There wasn't any chairs or any decorations whatsoever.
*Swoosh*
His brows scrunched as he saw a fairy appear out of nowhere and flew towards him with a warm smile.
"Greetings player!" The fairy said excitedly and then continued. "Welcome to league of Guardians."
"This is an RPG game where the players will be heroes who would fight creatures to protect their associated territory."
"The players are each given a village to manage. The village can improve into a city and continue improving till it becomes an empire."
Xander listened carefully to her every word, not missing a single thing.
"The game world is very big, big enough that over 1000 empires can exist on it."
"Now! For the gameplay. There are seven modes of play, level up mode, arena, dungeons, guardian tower, world raid, guardian sky angel and resource plunder. When your level is high enough, you will be Introduced to each of them."
"Now, it's time for you to choose what class you want to play as." The fairy said while circling Xander.
'Finally, I thought she was going to explain everything to me. I was already getting tired'
*Beep*
Xander turned to his left where a blue screen that was taller than him floated and displayed characters.
[Blade master - With a longsword and his superior light ability. His speed is his advantage in any battle.
Flame swordsman - He weilds a huge broadsword and he is able to control the element of fire to his advantage. He has very high amount of strength but his speed is his disadvantage.
Magus - They use their hands or other magic casting equipment to cast spells. They can deal an extremely high amount of damage.
Archer - Uses bow and arrows for long ranged Attacks. They can do high damage points with a very good weapon.
Assasin - uses two daggers, can be long or short. The Assasin uses his shadow power to hide in the shadows and be like one, able to assasinate a target without being seen.
-------Mixed classes-------
-... ]
Xander just wondered why there were seven classes to choose from. Normally in RPGs like this there are only two to our roles.
At the end, he decided to pick something extraordinary, a mixed class.
[Class selected - Sword magus]
[Loading a village location]
[Successful... Village number 100456]
Xander waited in anticipatiom and excitement. He hasn't seen any class like sword magus before.
According to the Information, the sword magus is a character that can fight with the sword but also have magic skills that go along with it.
The other extraordinarily class was shadow blade. This class combines blade master and Assasin roles.
The Assasin uses shadow to hide and assasinate targets while blade master is kind of just straightforward.
The reason he chose sword magus was because of it was a class that he has never seen before. There wouldn't be an extraordinary character if the character isn't extraordinary.
He simply chose one of the mixed classes that he liked.
"Now you're ready to finally start playing. We might meet again soon player." After the fairy said that his vision darkened again.
...
Opening his eyes again Xander found himself in a small rundown village. There wasn't too many people and the area where the village occupied was relatively small.
"I see. The fairy said that I will have to improve my village. And I'm also given a territory."
Even though he has to improve it he didn't know how he was going to do that. Xander calmed himself and brought up the status screen with his thoughts.

"The game is fantasy after all."
Xander wasn't shocked that all of his skills were locked, he was shocked that his role currently is village head.
"Okay okay. Let's think. The game is like those fortress games where the soldiers will protect the fortress, in this case, this village."
This game just got a whole lot more complicated. He has to improve his domain/territory which has a village and protect it.
'But how do I level up'
As he was racking his brain and waiting for the system to say something it finally came.
*Ding*
The system screen appeared before him with exactly what he wants to know.
[You can level up by playing the level up mode. There is a portal in the village head's home that you can enter.]
[To Level up your village you need to build the individual parts...]
Xander closed the screen immediately he read through the screen.
He looked at himself and noticed that he was wearing leather clothing and a sword was hung on his back.
Feeling excitement he rushed pass all other tents until he reached a slightly bigger one and entered.
The system gave the players a map of their village so that they can navigate properly so it was not so hard to find his way.
The place was not so good, there was a bed on the floor that didn't seem soft at all. He removed his eyes from the bed and looked towards the glowing blue portal that had a screen beside it.
[Modes:]
[Level up - Flame world - stage 1]
[Dungeons(unlock at level 10)

[Arena(Unlock at level 20)]

Without wasting too much time Xander tapped the Adventure mode. The portal glowed brightly before dimming again.
[Portal ready]
"Well, here goes nothing." He took a deep breath before he stepped through the portal.
