*Ding Dong*
The door bell rang out and Xander retracted his hand.
He is currently in front of a slightly big one-storey building. This house was of course Harris's house. It looked kind of fancy with the flower vases all around the house and the colourful pillars that was used to hold the house.
*Clack*
The sound of the door unlocking reached Xander's ears before the door opened. Seeing no one Xander looked down to see a young girl that was a little over four feet tall.
"Hey brother Xan!" The little girl called out with a smile, making Xander chuckle.
"I've told you little Eve, you call me by my full name." He said and tapped the girl nose, causing her to pout cutely.
Eve was Harry's sister who was currently 12 years old. She has long black hair that reached below her shoulders that looked taken care of, unlike her brother. Her baby face and flawless skin made her beautiful and outstanding.
If one sees this girl they can only imagine how beautiful she was be if she grows into a woman; she would be like a walking goddess capable of charming any man.
"But calling you Xander is toooo stressful."
"Alright, call me whatever you want." He agreed as he patted her head, resulting in a cute reaction.
Seems like she can still charm people while being a little girl.
"I'm here to see Harry."
Eve's look darkened as she heard that and said, "Why are you hanging out with my weird brother? I'm more fun."
"Ohh. And what makes you think he's weird?" Xander asked bending down to her level. He was six foot eight centimetres tall so it was understandable that he had to bend to reason with Eve.
Eve crossed her hands and began, "Mom says he's pathetic cause he was watching a video of a celebrity all day last week Monday. She says that Harry needs a girlfriend."
"Hehe... I'm sure I can handle him." Xander said with a chuckle as he stood up straight.
"Don't say I didn't warn you. And make out some time to play with me too." Little Eve said as she ran towards another side of the house. Xander couldn't help but think about how cute her pink gown was.
He then walked up the stairs and the first room by his right which is Harry's room, he opened the door to peep before he entered.
He then saw Harry in briefs rambling about something while throwing some clothes to another corner of the room.
"Every time Harry do this, Harry do that. Harry go and pick your sister. I am tired of this house. My sister is not even helping to do anything in the house, she's like a Leech."
"Anything she asks she gets while me, I have to prove my worth with house chores. When I ask why the difference they say she's still little..."
And so he mumbled and mumbled, not noticing that Xander have entered the room where he was arranging stuff."Boo!"
"AHH!" Harry shouted as he threw a the clothes in his hand up in shock.
"Xander?! Don't you dare do something like that to me... Hah... Hah... I almost died there." Harry complained, holding the left side of his chest as he panted for breath.
"Hehe... How about I help you out here?"
Harry smiled as he looked at Xander before saying, "Thanks bro. I'll really appreciate it."
Xander then helped Harry to arrange the clothes and after that, they arranged the room and cleaned it up.
They then went to Harry's room, which was just opposite the one he was in. Upon entering Xander's eyes went to the gaming chair beside the bed that had a VR full dive helmet on it.
On the wall there was a big 70 inches long Television that Harry used to play video games too.
"So how is the game?" Harry said as both of them sat down.
"The game is amazing bro. I got pulled into the territory concept and everything feels and seems very real in the game."
Harry's smile widened in satisfaction as he heard what Xander said, "I told you it's going to be the next big thing. I'm going to create my account today and start playing," he said as he scrolled on his phone.
"That's good for you, I also have something to tell–"
"Dude check this out. Montana Luna is coming for a show in our city New York in two weeks." Harry said as he stood up and sat beside Xander, showing him his phone.
On the screen there was a picture of a woman with blue hair wearing shades. She wore a short gown, revealing her fair and delicate skin.
Even with the shades she was still beautiful.
"Okay okay. I just want to say that–"
"Dude, imagine if I was already a certified gamer, I would be able to meet her with my status." Harry said as he looked up as if he was looking at something fascinating.
So that Harry wouldn't cut into his words again Xander finally gave him a reply.
"Harry. Are you seriously looking at a celebrity? Why exactly do you want to be a gamer?" Xander asked, looking tired.
"Of course. Because I like playing games and also cause there's money in it." Harry replied, wanting to know where Xander was going with this.
"Exactly. Not for any celebrity, but for yourself. If you keep looking at that picture you wouldn't go anywhere in life." Xander said blankly.
Harry smiled bitterly as he said, "You don't have to be so straightforward with it."
"If I'm not straightforward you wouldn't understand me."
Harry smiled at his friend that always steered him into the right path whenever he is lost.
"Thanks bro, I'll focus more on improving myself from now on!" Harry said, standing up and putting a hand on his chest like as if he was making an oath, or was he?
"Oh... You've been wanting to say something. What was it?" Harry collapsed on his swivel chair and dropped his phone.
"Thank goodness. You finally give me attention." Xander said, his lips curving downwards as if he was mocking Harry.
"Sorry bro. You know how I am when I'm passionate." Harry said.
Indeed he was crazy when he is passionate. A few months ago he fell in love with gaming and he always talked about games to Xander. Eventually Xander was infected and also fell in love with games.
"So what happened?" Harry said as he took a nail clipper and started clipping his nails.
Xander layed flat on the bed and stared at the ceiling, recalling today's events.
"My dad is back."
