Now, the sun had gone down and Jaden dressed up and was about to walk out of his chambers. He needed Zuri to help him with preparations but decided against sending for her. In the past, he didn't need to send for Zuri as she would be there assisting him with everything but Jaden knew why she was staying away from him. As he dressed, he wondered how long it would take for her to come around and wondered if he should go looking for her. His mind was in turmoil when it came to Zuri and Jaden knew he had to figure it out soon enough. It couldn't continue this way.
He heard a small knock on his door and for a split second, his eyes brightened upon the thought that it might be Zuri. However, the prince sensed who it was and his face returned to normal.
"My prince," Khad greeted with a bow as he stepped into the prince's chambers.
