Khalan heard the waiter and his eyes widened then narrowed. At this point he felt like wrapping his hands around Ms. Stone's neck. How could she have been so careless? Had she been that horny that she hadn't given attention to details? How did the waiter know that he was in her room? Perhaps she said something at the reception when she wanted to get the room booked – Khalan wondered. Now, some stranger had come there with a message for him.
He took some steps forward as his mind swirled with what and where the message could have come from.
'Maybe it's from the mayor,' Khalan thought as he roughly pushed the questioning Ms. Stone to the side. She had been talking with the waiter, asking him questions that didn't make sense. They had already been caught. The next step Khalan expected from the lady was to find a way to keep the waiter's mouth shut. Instead, she was busy asking how he knew she was in the room with someone else.
