[Congratulations on safely arriving in the World 426 in Universe 3G429! ]
I slowly gained back consciousness as the system notification slowly woke me up. Though This time something felt off, I didn't wake up to the usual sound of my alarm, but instead woke up to the sound of the birds singing and the sun hitting my eyelids.
I could see the big blue sky in front of me as soon as I opened my eyes, it was absolutely beautiful, that scene could've been ideal, if not for the fact that I was laying down on some grass in the middle of nowhere.
'Where the fuck did I end up?' My senses were still in a complete mess, my vision was half blurry and my ears were overwhelmed with all sorts of sounds, it was as if this was my first time hearing.
Suddenly a system notification bought me back to earth and helped me clear up my thoughts.
[Congratulations on unlocking a new job!]
["World traveler"
Description:
A job you can unlock by traveling to a different world and going through the experience of space-time distortion.
Perks: +5 endurance]
I read through the description and perks and soon enough I understood why this title was a thing. I've always hated transports but now I felt the same way as when I first came to that base world.
Even if I know that I have super human stats I currently feel extremely weak and tired. It's as if my whole stamina was used up.
After thinking a bit more I used 2 of the energy replenishers that I had stored, then I slowly tried opening my eyes a little wider to take a better look at where I ended up.
To my right was a very beautiful and clear river, I went closer and washed my face there. The more I rested and gained back control of my senses, the more the sounds around me started clearing up, I could hear the many noises from cars and people around.
After walking around a little and taking a better look at where I was it seems like I ended up somewhere close to a bridge and near a river.
I didn't remember that place from the anime, nor did I remember the name of the city they were in during the manga. 'Now that I think of it, I actually don't even remember the name of their high school.'
After shaking my head I chose to ask the only one who I hoped could help me clear up my thoughts.
'System, where am I? And how far am I from the high school where the protagonists are at?' I asked in head.
[The host is currently in Tokonosu City, the same city where all the main protagonists reside.]
[The host is 5.203 meters from Fujimi Academy.]
Hmm, so the name of the high school is Fujimi Academy. And it seems like I appeared 5 kms away from it, it wasn't too far but I still had to take into account that it might take me some time to get there.
Suddenly I received a new system notification.
[Warning!! phase one has started!]
[The zombie virus is currently at version 0.5!]
[The first level 1 zombie has appeared!]
[A special quest has been triggered!]
I clicked on the said special quest.
[Special quest:
Zombie eradication. (Difficulty: unknown)
Description:
the system sensed a fate breaking event! A special quest has been triggered! Killing zombies will allow the world to get back it's original karma. The host will gain a reward after defeating each zombie, the reward will depend on the mutation level of the zombie.
-This quest will not disappear unless every zombie is eradicated.
-The rewards are earned in real-time instead of at the end of the quest.
-The quest will get updated every time the virus evolves.
Reward: -1 coin for every level 1 zombie killed.]
What? Does the virus evolve? I've never heard of that happening in the anime. What is this all about??
[This earth is a parallel universe the one in the hosts' memory. The early death of the protagonist is simply one of many changes that affected this planet after a fate break have occurred. The system and host are the ones tasked with fixing those anomalies.
"And here I thought I would have it easy in a low leveled world. I had to end up in a world in which the enemy was constantly evolving. I just hope it doesn't evolve at a rapid rate." I couldn't help but sigh out loud
'System when will the next phase begin?'
[The second phase will begin in exactly 6 days, 23 hours, and 53 minutes!]
'What would that change?'
[In the first stage the virus isn't contagious. But in the second phase it'll become extremely contagious and will spread all at a very rapid rate, there will also be the possibility for a level 2 zombie to appear.]
'Huh? And what's the difference between a level 1 zombie and a level 2 zombie?'
[The level 1 zombies are the original zombies, the level 2 zombies are the mutated variables. They are stronger, faster, and even have some level of intellect.]
'That's bad news...' I was confident in defeating normal zombies but I can't tell how strong those will be.
Well... For now, all I can do is complete the world quest. I think I'm starting to understand why it's only an E-rank one even though it has such an evolution system.
My mission is only to get as many people as possible into the Takagi estate. So it's safe to say that until then the virus wouldn't have evolved too much and that once they get there things would be way more smooth for them, after all once the quest is completed that means the world's survival is guaranteed.
For now, I had to make a plan as to what I will be doing in that one week I had at hand. I've only spent 2 months and a half in that base world yet I'm already in another world. I guess that's how my life is going to be from now on.

Looking at my new status window I couldn't help but sight, it seems like now that I'm in a different world I lost my job as a Ryozanpaku disciple.
Not only did it reduce most of my stats but it also gave me a huge blow on my mental state.
two of my previous jobs were now gone, but luckily I still had all of my skills and titles. As long as I have those and keep improving them I'm sure that I'll be fine. All my masters will still accompany me through the mixed martial art skill I recently obtained.
Suddenly, the sound of my stomach growling took me out of my thoughts. Traveling to another world made me quite hungry.
Though now that I was in a new world I was completely broke. Or so I thought, but then all the useless rewards I got thanks to many F-class chests game back to my mind.
In total, I've now gathered 38.000 yen which should be enough to cover my expenses for the week.
I've made up my mind to only allow myself to spend 3.000 yen for my personal expenses and meals during that week, if I don't spend too much of my meals then I may be able to put the rest of the money to good use.
I'd still have 17.000 yen in case something happen and I could also use that money for other stuff such a clothes. I didn't really want to stay in the same clothes for a whole week. I already had a little idea as to how I could be using all of money.
Unfortunately, it seems like for the rest of the week I'll have to sleep under this bridge. That place also doesn't seem to be close to any shops or supermarkets. I'll still take a look around to be sure.
Tho that'll be for another time, shopping can wait, for now what I should focus on doing is going to the high school where everything will begin. I need to memorize the path in order to get there as easily as possible once the time comes.
So for today, all I did for the whole day other than eating and training was ask around for directions, luckily most people I met were kind enough to guide me, and after 2 hrs of wandering around the city, I finally managed to reach the said high school.
I made sure to memorize every single turn and path I needed to take. I may even try to take this same route one day before the events to make sure I didn't forget anything.
At the end of the day, I was too exhausted to think any more, I laid down on the grass under the bridge and closed my eyes. Weirdly enough the grass wasn't as uncomfortable as I thought it would be and the wind made me feel comfortable enough.
Even if I had inhumane stamina and could probably stay days without sleeping or eating and still be functional, I was too mentally exhausted. Even if my body is doing well it's useless if my mind can't follow up.
All those sudden changes affected me more than I would've thought. After making myself new habits and friends I ended up in yet another new world, in here I had nothing I was familiar with.
It felt like I was lost once again. I was almost hoping for the second phase of the virus to start sooner. I couldn't wait before going back to my old habits.
Soon enough those thoughts started dying down as I dozed off and fell asleep under the soft breeze of the night.
