"No,No,No...." I started screaming
"Serena, Serena. Wake up." Maria shouted in concen.
I woke up hurried. "The Book, Jared" I started mumbling things which Maria couldn't have acknowledged.
I hurried up to back and was surprised as I found The Curse Book lying straight up there.
"What day is today?" I asked looking at Maria
"huh-uh" She said trying to figure out what was causing me discomfort.
"Tell me today's date?" I said firmly
"28th October 2025" I was shocked and relieved as the same time.
"So it was all a dream. Jared didn't betray me, he didn't betray us." I said with complete sense of relief.
"What's up with you Serena? What going on? Would you mind to share." Maria said
I didn't wanted to share because she would have over thought and all but I needed to vent out everything so I did tell her everything.
"Ohhhhh" She said, "Well I had doubted something and here....."
"What did you doubt?" I asked as I was about to freak out. Maria realised that.
"Well chill, it's not about someone betraying us and all. The Curse Book part 1 chapter B is related to demonic strength. It is a powerhouse of all negative energies and entity. The only way to neutralise it is joining it to chapter A." Maria said with serious expressions.
"But Chapter A I have kept it home." I said
"Hmmm" She said as she went again in deep thinking.
"Maria, What will happen if it's not connected to Chapter A? Like we have to be on the camp for few days right? So what now?" I asked expecting a solution.
"I really do know, honestly speaking. The only thing I'm aware is that it is clear in the demonic world that we have the book and also probably our intentions that we wanna destroy the book for good. I don't think so that the bad entities will approve decision, infact they are going to try to stop us from this. We are getting involved in everything chaotic and messy now. Messier than ever before, that's probably the reason that you had that sort of dream. Maybe the souls want to bring dilemma and confusion up here. Also trying to get a huge crack in the squad and we can't do anything since the Part A isn't with us." Maria spoke with breathlessly. I could sense the fear on the face that she was trying her best to hide.
"Hey girls, What going on" Jared called us suddenly.
A wave a fear hit me up. I was turned paled. I had Goosebumps all over my body.
"Hey, What happened Serena you look unwell?" He asked by asking my suddenly frightened reaction.
"Hmmmm-" I was trying to make excuses
"Umm she is just exhausted." Maria covered up for me. "You had some work Jared?"
"No, I just came to call you out. The camp activities are starting and Professor Hernandez isn't in a good mood either." Jared said
"When is he even in good mood?" Maria said making faces.
"We will there within five minutes" I said.
"OK then, see you." Jared said and he left the tent
"God knows what's coming up next for us." Maria said as she left too.
I removed the book and checked it up. 'God please protect us up.' I said and looked again at the book, figuring a place to hide it up from all the traitors.
