Kingdom of Agatus
A few days after the royal visit to Adea and Jareth's hut, they had not been themselves.
They were absented- minded whenever Adeline spoke to them. It had been going on for a few days now and they planned on not letting Adeline know but failed.
She had noticed and felt something was wrong but decided not to ask anything.
Adea and Jareth went to see the king as they were instructed to, they had a back-and-forth conversation with the king.
They defended their daughter since that was the reason they were summoned. The king had no choice but to let it go and asked them to leave.
King Mugus was known for his kind heart, everyone loved him and so he placed their needs before his and was known throughout the lands as a good and kind king.
Adea and Jareth knew a time like this would come up, but it was so soon for them. They loved their daughter very much and wanted her to grow up in a peaceful kingdom but it seems it wasn't going to happen.
Kingdom of Amira
King Labyrinth's chambers
His eldest son Edmond came to see him on his bed. He was old and sick now and soon he had to give his throne to his eldest son.
Edmond
(Sad)
"Father, it's heartbreaking to see you like this"
Khoff!!
Labyrinth coughed and stretched his hand toward his son who was sitting beside him.
Labyrinth
(weak)
S-son I want you to remember this, the kingdom is now yours and you must protect it at all cause…."
A knight barged in and announced.
Edmond
(angry)
Who dares enters my father's room without announcing its presence
Knight
(breathing heavily)
"My king and prince, sorry for interrupting a father and son conversation but it's an urgent matter which I must report"
Edmond
(ordered angrily)
"Speak before I have your head"
Knight
(scared)
"M-my prince, it's a message from the genies, they request your presence now without delay"
Edmond
(annoyed)
"Tell them I am busy with my father I will
Come after"
Knight
(concerned)
"Prince, their report it's a matter of life and death and the fate of the kingdom"
Edmond flinch and stared fiercely at the knight, his father suddenly took his hand and said;
"Son, you need to go now, do not keep them waiting, for they are spirits of the earth, they speak no lies only the truth so leave now"
Edmond sighed and nodded to his father's request and left with the knight.
Meanwhile, Adeline had been frequently visiting the beautiful man she met a few days ago. He opposed to it and yet still Adeline kept coming and interrupting his peace in the forest.
Another sunny day, when the beautiful man felt so happy for he hadn't heard Adeline's voice pestering him here and there.
He rested his back under a tree full of beautiful flowers wearing a black robe, exposing his bare chest.
He closed his eyes and rested, believing he would have a peaceful day but that didn't last long as Adeline had arrived later on.
She tiptoed and stared blankly at the beautiful man's face and giggled as many times as she wanted.
Adeline
(Admiring)
"Such beautiful face but a foul mouth, tsk so contradictory, yah what does it mean again, he kept saying something like that and now I am addicted to it.
Contradictory, only he knows what it means, never mind, I can stare at his face all day long and never get tired.
Beautiful man
(Annoyed)
"Well I will appreciate it very much if you get tired of coming here every chance you get to disturb my peace"
Adeline was startled by his sudden speech and fell on her back.
"Ouch, what the… y-you weren't asleep?"
"Of course not, if I were, I wouldn't be talking to you would I?"
"Why did you close your eyes then huh, don't you know, it will be confusing for another's"
He scoffed.
"How is that my business, all I want is just a little peace of mind and I can't get that isn't that more confusing" he raised his voice.
"Huh, I don't understand what you just said" she scratched her hair.
He massaged his forehead to calm himself down and attempted to leave.
"Where are you off to now, I thought we have established a relationship now, come on, why are you being so prideful?
I bet that is the reason you are all alone without a wife or children or even a loved one"
He was ignoring her until he heard her last words.
"How dare you!!!
A few minutes later….
Adeline
(Happy)
"Finally you gave in to my humble request, I believe this should be our daily routine, right" she breathed in and out slowly.
Beautiful man
(Sad)
"I had no choice but to go along with you right now spit it, why are you here again"
Adeline
(Feigns)
"N-nothing"
The beautiful man was getting more and more enraged by the second.

(Annoyed)
"If it was nothing why did you bother coming here at all" he raised his voice.
She smiled but inwardly she was sad and miserable and needed someone to talk to.

(Sighed)
"I know there is something, I can smell it on you so do us both the favor and spill it out"
Adeline
(Teared up)
"H-how did you know, I-I am sorry it's just my parents I think they are hiding something from me and I just can't figure it out"

(Feigns a smile)
"So that is the reason why you came looking for me"
She couldn't pretend anymore, she was really sad and needed someone to talk to.
She stared at the beautiful man with tearing eyes.
"D-don't you dare give that look, no, no, I won't fall for that" he said to himself.

(Sighed heavily)
"Alright, let's talk, if it's about your parents hiding something from you, it's probably something you shouldn't know and they want to protect you"
She sniffed
Adeline
(Teary)
"Are you talking from experience, because you seem so sure of what you are saying"

(Smiled)
"It that how I sound, I guess I am getting old"
Adeline
(Jokily)
"What, no way, you are still as handsome as ever but with that foul mouth of yours I believe there is someone more handsome done you in this world"
He scoffed.
Beautiful man
(Praising himself)
"Never, I am considered the most beautiful creature in all the realms, if there is someone more handsome than me, it's probably my son or myself and I don't have a son so yes I am the only one"
Adeline
(Slightly annoyed)
"So full of himself, you never get tired of that, right"
They both laughed at each other.
"See you smiled, I told you, you come to like me one day"
They spoke for a while, the beautiful man wasn't pleased with someone of her remarks but ignored them. It was the first time he had ever had a conversation with anyone and he wished it to never end.
Adeline
(Excited)
"I want you to follow me to my kingdom today, I have something to show you"
Beautiful man
(firmly)
"No, I won't, I hate humans and I don't want to be in their mist"
Adeline
(Scoffed)
"But I am human too and you don't hate me, so please"
She gave him the same look as before and unfortunately, he was weak towards it.
Beautiful man
(Agreed)
"Alright but just a peak nothing more"
Adeline
(Excited"
"Yes, finally, wait I don't know your name, I can't keep calling you beautiful man "
He smiled at her and said
"Alright for the sake of your hair and face, I will tell you but I will only say it once"
She nodded.
"Lucian"

She smiled at him, revealing her white teeth, which startled him for a moment, for she reminded him of someone he thought he had forgotten.
"Raul"
"That name again, who is he, and do I resemble him or what?"
He ignored her and took the lead and they giggled among themself.
Unbeknownst to them a fierce battle was ongoing in the kingdom of Agatus. Innocent blood splashed on the ground and their cries echoed throughout the lands.
The knights were fighting for their lives and also for their king and the people, but they were nothing but dust in the eyes of the Elite demons.
The people's screams and cries were music in their ears and they laughed at their pain and fretful nature.
Lucian and Adeline met a gruesome moment, and for Adeline, it was a nightmare, she wished to wake up from.
"No!!!
"Mother, father!!!
Lucian pulled her closer, for she fell on her knees as he saw the Kingdom being torn into pieces.
"Let go of me, I need to save my parents, no, no" she cried out.
Lucian felt an settling feeling and the moment his eyes met one of the ELITE DEMONS…
He stepped back and pulled Adeline up and the only words that came out of his mouth were
"RUN ADELINE, RUN!!!
Adeline heart sank at his words and before she could say a word, he dragged her away but for Adeline, the next thing she saw shook her world.
A silver-haired man just like her, slayed her mother and father with his sword and laughed so loud she could hear him from a distance.
