Ten years later...
The Agatus Kingdom.
It is a small kingdom surrounded by water and trees, sheltering it from outsiders and invaders.
They were known for farming and craftsmanship. Their existence is known by a few, and for years they had enjoyed peace and stability.
Adea and Jareth were the two farmers who found the baby in the forest and named her Adeline.
After rescuing her, they took her with them to their small kingdom, Agatus where they raised her peacefully.
Unfortunately, the peaceful life they wanted did not go as planned. It started with a rumor spreading about their daughter Adeline being a cursed child and her being different from everyone.
They tried their possible best to drive away the rumors, but it had spread across the kingdom and due to that, Adeline never had friends.
They kept avoiding her due to her appearance, the silver-haired Agatus was the name given to her.
There were times when she was bullied by the other children for being who she was, and, unfortunately, Adeline wasn't a quiet child.
She never backed down from a fight, she would argue and fight with them all the time, but the result was always unfair as she was seen as the perpetrator.
One faithful day, when the sun shined so bright that it could burn anyone. Adeline saw the other children playing around the old hut.
It was a game where one would close his or her eyes and wait for the others to hide and then search for them.
Adeline was keen to join, so she forced herself into the game and stood in front of the boy who had closed his eyes and waited for him to open his eyes.
The moment he opened his eyes and saw Adeline, he cried out, alerting the others who came out to see what was happening.
"FAS what is wrong, why are you crying?" the oldest among them asked the crying boy.
FAS pointed at Adeline, claiming she scared him. Adeline was startled by that she was confused as to why the boy was pointing at her.
She only wanted to join in and have fun so why is she the bad person now?
"You little demon, how dare you scare my brother huh" he raised his voice and arm in an attempt to land a hit on Adeline.
Adeline was fast enough to dodge but was still in a state of confusion.
"What did I do for you to raise your hand at me?" she questioned.
He scoffed at her question and said "Tsk you still have guts to take back after scaring my brother, you cursed demon"
Adeline hated the word cursed, ever since she was brought to the kingdom, everyone found her repulsive and saw her as a cursed child.
There was no human with silver hair and skin as fair as hers and it made the people wonder if she was human.
The children in the kingdom avoided her and called her all kinds of names and sometimes they stoned her.
But she had a secret that she kept to herself, she healed faster and hardly got sick, her mother noticed but pretended not to have noticed and protected her secret.
"I am not a cursed child, my mother and father said I am special and beautiful" she defended.
"Hahahaha" they laughed at her continuously which made her frown at their reaction.
"What do we do to the cursed demon?"
"We stone her"
"Everyone grab a stone and get ready to make a hit"
They sneered at her and stared at her with a grin on their faces.
Adeline was a bright and kind person who never gave in to the harsh words of the people, However, she was still hurt by the distasteful look on their faces as they charge towards her.
A dark cloud seemed to hang over her spirit, casting a shadow on her bright and vibrant world yet again.
She stood still as they threw the stones at her, hitting her head, arms, stomach, and feet. She badly wanted to cry but held it in for she felt it would be over soon.
An elderly saw what was going on and rushed to stop the children from throwing stones.
"Children stop, do you want to gods and guardians to cast an evil eye on you all, for dealing with a curse demon" she whispered to the children.
Her words cut so deep that Adeline couldn't escape the pain and deep sadness within her.
She turned to leave with her bleeding forehead. The moment she reached her parent's huts and saw them smiling at each other while planting their seedlings made the tears she had kept inside her run down her cheeks.
Adeline
(Crying)
"Mother, father, why was I born like this, I didn't ask to be born like this. I want to be normal like everyone, so why is it so hard"
Her mother who heard her cry quickly went to her and her heart sank at the sight of her daughter crying her eyes out.
Her father did the same and they both lean over to level with her and enquired about her crying.
"Baby, tell us what happened, Why are you bleeding and crying?" Adea asked her daughter.
Adeline sniffed and said "They threw stones at me yet again and said I was cursed, first they used to mock me about my clothes saying they were rags and now they stone me because I look different.
Jareth
(Angered)
"What, how dare they stone my daughter, who do they think they are, I will teach them a lesson they will never forget"
He removed his farm clothes and decided to go and teach the children a lesson but was held back by Adeline who had covered her face with her right hand sobbing.
Adeline
(Crying)
"Father do not bother, you might hurt your waist again"
Jareth
(Stuttering)
"Huh, w-wait how…" he asked.
"I saw you fall off the rooftop a few days ago and you held your waist as you stood up" she answered.
Adea giggled at the sight of her husband who felt embarrassed by her daughter who had a hold on his silk shirt.
"Adeline you don't have to worry about your father, he is fit and can protect you, alright," she said with a smile.
"Your mother is right, no waist pain can stop me from protecting my beautiful and special daughter, Adeline so wipe your tears and smile for your father" her father cheered her up.
She finally uncovered her face and smiled sadly.
"Do not worry one day, everyone will notice your kind and beautiful heart and will praise you for your bravery" her mother added.
"Why are we all being so emotional" her father teased and they all giggled at his reaction.
Spirit Realm( Heaven)
Decades passed and birthed new changes, the realms had become anew with different faces. The spirit realm was now called by the mortals as the heavenly realm, where gods and guardians lived.
The sun set behind the breathtaking mountains, casting a golden hue over the flourishing Vallee. Amongst the vibrant wildflowers, Raul, the guardian warrior, sat on a moss-covered rock, his massive frame towering over his surroundings. Clad in intricately crafted armor, he radiated an aura of strength and power.
He reminisces on the events that happened in Vallee and even though most were sad moments he didn't feel sad but rather at peace.
After Rhoda left him to marry Kali, he decided to devote himself to fighting and keeping the peace between the heavenly realm and the escaped demons.
He rarely had time for his son, but never failed to spar with him. His son didn't resemble him in any way yet he had his spirit and never gave up on anything he puts his mind on.
He wasn't accepted in the realm, and many of the children never played with him for fear of him turning into a demon, since he was a demi-god. Yet he never let those things get to him rather he sought to prove everyone wrong.
"Father, father" his son called him and he turned to glance at his son, Raul stared at his father with his pure and innocent sparkling eyes.
He smiled at his son, who quickly run towards him and gave his father a hug.
He sat beside his father and kept stealing glances at his father, in his eyes, his father was a hero he dreamt of becoming.
His appearance may be different from him
but he had a brave heart like his father. Raul had black silky hair with beautiful hazel eyes that made him stand out.
Yet still at a tender age, he already showed signs of inheriting Raul's formidable swordsmanship.
Raul gently ran his fingers through Raul the second's hair, a soft smile playing on his lips. "Do you remember, my son, when we used to spar under the oak tree back when you were just five years?"
His son's eyes widened with excitement, his imagination bringing those memories to life. "Yes, Father! And we'd make the earth tremble with our powerful strikes!"
Raul chuckled heartily, his grip on his son's shoulder soften, and sighed.
"I know you have a hard time with everyone sneering at you when I am not around but I know you get through it as always," Raul said to his son.
Raul the second
(Excited)
"Yes Father, I will do just that and prove to everyone that I am worthy to be the greatest swordsman in the heavenly realm son"
His father laughed softly and nodded and they stayed for a while to stare at the stars.
Kali's chambers.
Three children played around their father who sat on a worn-out armchair, his piercing eyes fixated on a figure in front of him.
"Kali, can you stop staring now, three is enough for me to carry, so don't stare too much," Rhoda said as she lean over to kiss Kali on the lips.
"Where are you off to?" he asked.
"Well the goddess of Arena summoned all maiden guardians to her abode for a meeting and so I have to leave" she answered.
"Oh I didn't know about that," he said.
"Of course, you wouldn't, it's about women and therefore no man is allowed, hahaha" she laughed softly.
She kissed the foreheads of her children and left.
A few minutes after she left, Kali asked the children to play with the other children and was left alone in his chambers.
Suddenly a male voice echoed in the room.
"You ended up with her"
He turned to find Lucian staring intensely at him.
"And as always you find your way to get through Lucian"
