Chapter 2 - 7. DUTIES.

A Wolox tried to pounce onto the man and bite his head off, however, the man easily dodged it and grabbed its hind leg. With one swift movement he slammed it into the ground. Yet another charged at him, biting down on his arm but its teeth immediately shattered. The man quickly slammed the Wolox's head into the ground using his arm producing a loud 'crunch' sound as blood erupted from its head. Suddenly, his position was assailed by a barrage of projectiles. He effortlessly deflected them all, making them smash into the ground producing an eruption of dust and earth. He spotted two Woloxen at a distance, their fur hardened into spikes and continuously firing. He spotted a bigger Woloxen behind them, carefully observing him. He smirked.

Must be an Elite Wolox.

His objective changed from annihilation to capture. He quickly closed the distance between them while dodging the projectiles fired at him. Abruptly, the Elite Wolox opened a third eye on its head, steam was discharged from its snout and immediately it opened its jaws. Instantly, a whirlwind of air started forming and shaping itself into a small condensed ball. The Wolox fired it at the man at point blank range. The man raised his arms and tanked the hit only being pushed back. The Wolox's eyes started to glow a deep and ominous blue. It raised its two tails and immediately two tornadoes sprang forth. The man swiftly charged at it but the other two Woloxen attacked him. Instantaneously, he planted his right foot into the ground, crossed his arms and rapidly extended them outward landing meteoric blows on the two Woloxen, blowing them away.

However, it was too late. The Elite Wolox had already coated itself in a rapidly rotating mass of wind. Using its claws, it swiftly attacked the man. The man quickly stepped back but three massive pillars of wind chased him. He swiftly moved his arms in an upward arch and effected a massive shockwave of wind that clashed with the three pillars. An explosion of wind erupted and all by-standers were by now struggling not to be blown away. The Wolox charged through the thick cloud of dust already condensing a wind sphere. The man dodged it and it exploded behind him causing a vortex of epic proportions. The wind sliced through anything it came into contact with and the man extended his arms out spun his body elegantly syphoning the gust of wind to him. He abruptly stopped and attacked the Wolox by directing the wind at it in a spear like manner. The Wolox's coat of wind and the wind spear clashed, the coat of wind proving more dominant.

"Gathron could you please stop playing with it,"

A tall and heavy-set man carrying a large gourd on his back urged him, seemingly the only one unaffected by the battle. Only his dreadlocks flowed with the wind. He was the Gathron's personal assistant. He was a rather serious man in all situations not once smiling in any type of situation, the polar opposite of the Gathron, who joked with all he interacted with only rarely was he solemn. As was expected, he didn't like the Gathron but he respected him. He knew if the Gathron put his mind to any type of goal, it would be achieved with an unrivaled efficiency. Just like when he pushed back the Orc King and his minions, a monster that decimated hundreds of villages and single handedly annihilated the Orakam Kingdom's ten thousand strong subjugation force.

If only the Gathron acted according to his stature and influence.

"Come on Kungatha! Loosen up!"

He glared at him. The Gathron quickly yielded.

The Wolox tried to attack while he wasn't paying attention but immediately found itself blown away. It crashed into an Oringatang tree and fell the mighty tree. The man quickly landed on it and landed a powerful blow into its neck region. The beast's eyes rolled back into its skull while frothing at its mouth. It lost consciousness instantly. The man picked it up and walked back towards his group.

"Why didn't you kill it?" asked Kungatha.

"It'd make a nice sparring partner for the warriors back at home don't you think?"

The man stared at the beast then at the man in complete consternation. He sighed.

"Have you considered how we should house and feed such a beast?"

"That's not my job, that's the assistant's job" the Gathron said as he placed the Wolox onto his shoulders and took the large gourd he was carrying.

Kungatha half expected this to happen. He gripped onto the Wolox properly and asked, "Where to next Gathron?"

"Back to the village, these boys haven't been drilled enough. Tell the instructors to stop being soft on them"

"Understood, I'll relay the message"

"Good, you should hurry off then, these corpses may attract more beasts,"

He nodded and quickly gathered the boys together. After a quick scolding and 'gentle guidance', they quickly marched away. The Gathron took off too heading to the Krizin cave. He soon arrived and quickly entered navigating through the maze like pathways within it until he wound up at an opening with massive blue crystals illuminating the dark cave. There was a small pool of a bright blue liquid at the center of the opening. It was crystal water. A liquid that had incredible healing properties and was one of the main ingredients of Rimache's health potion. He took the large gourd filled it to the brim with the liquid. He hated being the guy's errand boy but it couldn't be helped, he was the only one whose Ki pulse was developed enough to scan the entire cave. Besides, he always got to keep a portion of this liquid to fuel his wife's research. His wife came into mind and he immediately started smiling. His busy days were soon coming to an end and the fact that this batch of junior warriors were woefully underprepared meant he wouldn't have to perform expeditions for the next few weeks.

He exited the cave all while thinking of how he would spend that time. He smirked. These past few weeks, his energy had been mounting with no way of release. He was going to ensure he released all~ his energy within the time he gets. He quickly took off ,already excited, to the Phebesian village.

On his way to the village, he spotted a woman making her way to the village too. Her long jet black hair flowed majestically as it glimmered in the bright and warm sun. Her dark skin was without blemish and looked soft to the touch. She wore a white loosely, supposedly, fitting tunic with a red shawl atop the tunic. The clothing, however, didn't hide her unmistakably divine figure. Her bountiful breasts meticulously jiggled as she gracefully walked down the path, her hips clearly visible under her clothes. His wife; Veralia.

He could barely contain himself, he quickly rushed toward her, dropping the gourd. He hugged her, surprising her for a moment as he pressed her against his body. They gazed at each other for a moment. She looked up at him with her large languid azure eyes that sparkled with an enchanting appeal, her dainty little nose and full luscious lips only adding to her beauty. They kissed, affectionately, staying rooted to the spot while in embrace.

"You really missed me, didn't you?" he said, peering lovingly into her eyes.

She blushed and smiled, "You felt the same, right?"

"No, not really. I was too busy handling the warriors of the village" he said smirking.

She scowled but quickly started smiling, menacingly. Something extremely hard was rubbing against her belly.

"Then you wouldn't mind sleeping in separate beds right?"

He tensed up but quickly regained his composure, "We don't have those"

"Don't worry, I can make one in seconds" she said being all smug.

"...I yield"

"Of course you do"

They headed off to the village. As they walked they conversed animatedly.

"Why are you carrying that gourd around?" she asked

"It's your second favorite liquid, crystal water," he said, smirking.

"Indeed, only second to Rimache's liquids"

He was visibly shaken, "Marry the bastard then," he whispered.

"Not a bad idea,"

"What?!"

She giggled, "How much of it can I get?"

"I dunno, we wouldn't want our pal Rimache to dehydrate himself" he said, not even looking at her.

"Yes that is true, a dry spell would be bad for a man" she said menacingly.

"...About half of it"

"Ara ara, thank you honey!"

"Your welcome" he said, his voice like that of a dead man.

"But I thought you were too busy, where'd you get time to collect it?"

He sighed, "I was on an expedition with some trainees"

"It didn't go well?"

"Yes, they got scared by mere Woloxen"

"Strox, they're children, what do you expect?"

"I wasn't like that when I was their age"

"Nobody was like you"

He suddenly felt a rising sense of pride. He quickly calmed himself.

"I'll handle those issues later. Aside from that, did you manage to have a talk with them?"

"No, they wouldn't even let me in their village! Them and their over-inflated egos"

"I hope they didn't harm you" he said solemnly.

"No, they didn't. Even if they tried, they couldn't"

"Indeed, unlike most women's physique, you have more muscles than you do curves"

She glared at him and went completely silent. He was playing with fire and he knew it. He pulled her close to him.

"And that's exactly why you're my only one," he said as he kissed her.

She blushed for a moment, withdrew from his embrace and averted her eyes. He had won. Not only had he got her back for what she said but it ended in his own victory. He was now satisfied. However, he was worried. The Grimbaka village was a crucial pawn in his plans, specifically, the access he'd get to the Asuka river. Its hostility hampered the progression of his plans. Not only that, but its most likely they'd use that river to come to the coast, just like he did and they weren't as diplomatic as he was. They'd come with a reckoning. He was sure that his village wasn't strong enough either to fight them. His face grew ever more solemn. Veralia gazed at him lovingly and held his hand.

"Don't worry, everything will unravel itself"'

He smiled. Indeed, every problem will eventually be solved. He'd figure it out, this wasn't the first problem he cracked. As soon as they arrived at the Phebes village a small little girl, five years of age, on a Leopidas was chasing other children around all the while giggling and laughing. When she spotted them her eyes shone with a brilliant shimmer. She got off the Leopidas and rushed towards them. Her father opened his arms to embrace her.

"Mama!" she said as she rushed past her father and into her mother's embrace as fast as her small little delicate feet could carry her. He remained frozen. Veralia giggled.

"It's not nice to ignore papa, Fina" Veralia said.

"Oh papa's here! Sorry, didn't see you" Fina apologised

He quivered, "Its fine... this is fine"

The Leopidas snickered. He glared at it.

"I'll wipe that smug look off your face Finaria," he threatened.

She immediately displayed her long and curved claws, the red stripes that swirled through her amber fur body shone brilliantly as her eyebrows waggled, daring him. He dared, his large muscular arms bulging in anticipation as he cracked his knuckles.

"Stop your pointless bickering. Besides, can you even beat her?" Veralia asked.

"What?! Of course I can, its just that her manifestation counters most attacks!" He exclaimed.

Finaria tilted her head slightly back, smirking all the while. Fina was cheering on Finaria.

"Why not cheer for papa?" He asked.

"Aren't you gonna lose?" She asked frankly.

He could feel his internal organs churn painfully.

Veralia giggled as she said, "You've hurt papa enough you two."

Finaria nodded her head in agreement as Fina pat papa on the back.

"Have you been good to Cralia while we were gone?" Veralia asked Fina.

"Yes! She even cooked meatballs for me!" Fina said.

"That's good," she said as she patted her head, "do you know where she is?"

"Yes, she's with uncle Widam,"

"Thank you darling," she said as she put her down, "mama and papa have to go talk to her for a bit, you can go play as you wait for us"

Fina required to hear no more. She quickly hopped onto Finaria's back, her fur covering her upto her neck, and they rushed off to where the other children were and started chasing them around acting as the monster.

He and Veralia went to the village chief's hut. Strox was hearing some very interesting things. They met two guards at the hut's door and when they saw them, they quickly ushered them in. He walked in as Veralia thanked them. Inside there lay a large table at the center of the room with a large map of part of the continent.

Cralia, an old woman who was adorned with crescent earings and a brown shawl over her frail body with a hood that covered her head and Widam, a colossal man with a heavy build adorned with a red toga and a balding head, had their eyes fixed on the map. Upon their entry, they raised their heads.

"Oh my! Veralia dear, how have you been?" Cralia said her silver coloured eyes sparkling with life.

"I've been well, I take it you're still healthy,"

"Never been better," Cralia responded, flexing her muscular arms, cackling all the while.

Widam approached Veralia, took her hand and kissed it.

"How are you my fair lady?"

"Quite the massive balls you have there," He interrupted, pulling Veralia away from him.

"Hoho! Strox! What do you fear from an old man such as myself," Widam said, smiling.

"You wouldn't me touching any of your wives," Strox said smirking, "you'd find yourself a bachelor."

Veralia elbowed him as she glared at him.

"O-o-o-of course, only hypothetically," Strox justified himself.

"So what brings you here?" Widam asked.

"I wanted to discuss my visit to Anadacia with Cralia," Veralia responded

"Right, Vegri has been crying to me everyday about when you'd come. She really misses that Enischy boy,"

Strox's ears perked, he smirked.

"That's meh boy!" he said

Cralia and Veralia sighed.

"We'll be start our journey tomorrow,"

"Alright, I'll prepare some accommodations,"

"Thank you Cralia"

As the two women talked, Widam called Strox over to the map.

"I need your input on-"

"Where you should construct the road to Anadacia"

"You heard?"

"I heard. Besides, isn't the only option around the Refractia forest to the south? Only Ki users can enter there"

"Sadly that's not the case. There's been an increase in beast activity"

"Orcs again?" Strox said his countenance instantly turning solemn.

"Thankfully no. It's the Mandriulli."

"....That can only mean-"

"They're planning to set up a nest here" Widam's face grew ever more serious.

"That's not much to worry about, I'm sure you and your men can wipe out that nest"

"But how many lives would be lost in such an endeavor"

"But you must realize the longer you postpone the more prevalent the issue will become"

He remained silent for a moment contemplating the issue. Suddenly, his eyes widened as his ears perked up. Instantly, a massive vortex of silver aura engulfed him and two massive silver axes with streaks of dark green patterns from their black handle to their heads appeared in his hands. He disappeared, only leaving behind a massive shockwave of wind. Strox too had taken off.

"Where on Zarootha's good name are they going?!" Cralia said.

Veralia activated her first limiter, her eyes growing a brilliant red glint. She looked out to the savannahs and stood motionless at the door, what she heard and saw wiped the smile she had off her face. She could already smell the pungent scent of blood. She had spotted a group of seventeen Mandriulli; four-legged creatures with blades for hands, their insect like abdomen and thorax covered with a hard plated armor and large compound eyes rested on either side of its head with long antennae emanating from the center of their head and their height twice those of the warriors.

They were fighting, nay decimating a group of young warriors and tearing apart those who weren't lucky enough to defend themselves. She could vividly hear the screams of the men as the Mandriulla disemboweled the fallen warriors. One brave warrior charged at one that had ripped apart his comrade only for another to attack him from his side, cutting him in half. One of the Mandriulli raised its claws crossing them then abruptly brought them downwards as they slashed through the air. Two massive wind blades erupted forth, rushing towards the warriors dealing catastrophic damage. Two were split in half, another's left leg cut off and yet another had his gut cut open and screamed in pain as he watched his intestines fall to the ground. Seeing this, some warriors started fleeing for their lives. A Mandriulla bent its legs as if winding a spring and with a colossal amount of energy, dashed straight forward and was instantly behind one of the fleeing men. He screamed but was quickly silenced as the Mandriullia shoved its blade through his chest. While it was still lodged into the man's chest, it raised its blade, cleaving the man in two as blood erupted forth. One of the men on seeing this staggered and fell. The Mandriulla quickly pounced on the man, pinning him to the ground by shoving its blade through his shoulder and into the ground. The man wailed in pain and begged for his brothers to assist him but to no avail. The Mandriulla opened its four sectioned mandibles and started disemboweling him, tearing his intestines out and feasting ravenously on his other internal organs amidst his screams of pure agony. Another warrior tried to block a Mandriulla's slash with his metallic shield but was cut in half together with his metallic shield.

She deactivated her limiter unable to watch or bear more, though it was too late for the scene had already imprinted itself on her memory and kept on replaying in her head. She felt sick.

"These beasts are getting more problematic day by day, I pity our descendants," Cralia said, her eye that glowed a brilliant white faded and returned to normalcy.

Veralia shook upon hearing her words. Her son was to be on an expedition outside the village for training purposes. Her heart skipped a beat. She nearly took off immediately but hesitated looking at Cralia apprehensively.

"Just go, I'll go help them," she said as she straightened her back, a loud popping sound being heard.

"Are you sure?"

"Oh hush now! I've still got it in me to pound anything I want to high heavens" she said, patting her muscular arms.

Veralia nodded and quickly rushed off, picking up Fina and Finaria along the way. Cralia looked up.

"When will these visions come true?"

She rushed off to the battlefield at a terrific speed. She quickly arrived but the fight had already started. Strox and Widam were now overpowering the Mandriulli. One could easily tell they were furious especially Widam. He clenched his axes tightly as he charged at the Mandriulli swinging his axes wildly cutting down two Mandriulli in an instant.

"You dare TOUCH MY CHILDREN!" He roared, a barbaric and animalistic roar.

He charged at them, raving mad. He leapt into the air, drew back his arms and quickly smashed into the ground with an earth shaking force, crushing three and blowing away two. Instantaneously, one dashed at him from the side at a terrific speed and thrust its blade towards his chest, only managing to shallowly pierce him. He flexed his muscle and held the blade within him as he dealt a finishing blow on a Mandriulli that charged at him head on, his body progressively getting bigger and more muscular as the fight progressed. He now towered over the Mandriulli. The Mandriulla's blade was now trapped in his thick muscles. It tried to slash him only for its blade to shatter making it screech as green blood spluttered out. He grabbed its head and crushed it instantly.

Strox too effortlessly slew the Mandriulli, punching through their hard armor with utmost ease. Cralia attended to the wounded warriors. She put her hand on a warrior's massive cut across his chest as he grit his teeth in pain. A brilliant white light emanated from her hand and the warrior's pain eased, the wound stopped bleeding as it slowly closed. Suddenly, the warrior's eyes widened with terror.

"Look out!" he yelped

A Mandriulla dashed at her, instantly arriving where they were and brought down its blade upon her. Cralia caught the blade with two fingers as she completed healing him. His eyes were still wide with shock and awe as she held a beast within her power with just two fingers. She smiled at him and slowly stood up as the beast struggled to get out of her grip. She pulled the Mandriulla close to her and grabbed its blade with her bare hands. She looked directly into its eyes. It screeched and flailed its blade as if it couldn't see her as it struggled with increasing desperation to escape her but it was all for not. Its armor suddenly shot from its body as its muscles wasted and finally its head bursting. It collapsed into a heap of deformed organs, muscles and broken pieces of armor.

The battle was at its end. They had decimated all of them within minutes but unable to save the fallen warriors. Widam lowered his head in a mixed feeling of shame and sorrow. He looked at them. They were fresh recruits and it deeply angered and saddened him that they died such a tragic death. He clenched his fists in indignation. He turned to Strox.

"The nest is to the northwest of here, south of the Grimbaka tribe-"

"I'll be back by noon,"

"On your own?"

"I didn't stutter"

Immediately, he took off leaving behind a violent shockwave that rippled through the savannah causing rumblings like those of the giants. His figure disappeared over the horizon though he could still be heard.

"Why not go after him? Isn't he your closest friend? This is a nest we're talking about here" Cralia said.

"It'd be an insult to his strength and pride to do so." Strox responded.

She shook her head and sighed, "You men with your idiotic pride"

He remained silent. The few conscious warriors gawked at them in awe. They couldn't believe this desperate fight had so easily turned on its head.

"So this what CONQUERORS can do..." stated one warrior in astonishment.

The other warriors shook on the mention of the name "Conquerors", a title only given to the six strongest of the land. Being their first time seeing Strox, Zarootha's almighty and Cralia, Zarootha's holy saint they couldn't help but gawk at them. They were two of the five people who could face their chieftain, Widam the undying.

Soon some veteran Phebesian warriors had arrived but only to witness the aftermath of the battle; too late to assist. Strox informed them of their chieftain's departure whilst ordering them to be on high alert for who knows what other beasts would attack. He quickly left, leaving Cralia to finish up her healing, so as to quickly catch up with Veralia.

Veralia stopped by a river to cool her body and for Fina to rest a bit from all the rushing. She too needed a rest. She could barely concentrate. Witnessing that massacre had her worried, worried about Enischy. Even though she knew he could now use Ki as proficiently as a veteran warrior and even opened two of his limiters, she was still worried.

Suddenly she noticed Fina had leapt up into the air, trying to jump into the river. She caught her just before she managed to get into the water.

"Fina! You shouldn't jump into rivers! It's dangerous!" Veralia scolded, pinching her chubby little cheeks.

"I'm sorry," she said with tear filled eyes.

Veralia sighed, "You--"

Suddenly a massive Elidrox emerged from the waters and threw itself at them. The ground shook from it ground slam. Veralia had already leapt up high into the air.

"Fina, close your eyes"

Fina did so. Veralia summoned her spear. A long silver spear with intricate red markings that swirled around the spear to form a shape that resembled that of a terrifying creature. She launched it at the Elidrox, piercing it right through its back and heart with such force so as to send tremors down the entire river. Seeing it was still alive even after piercing its heart, she called for her spear. It immediately flew towards her and at the same time a dazzling azure light engulfed it as it split into two. One long red saber that emitted an azure ominous glow, the other a short one, silver in color and emitting a noble aura.

She gently threw Fina up, grabbed her two weapons as she propelled herself downward faster with her legs, releasing an unrelenting vortex of slashes that tore and decimated its hide, muscles and even skeletons. She stood on the corpse, took a slow breath as the sabers disappeared into thin air and she immediately caught Fina. She got off the corpse and out of the river valley, Finaria casually watching them.

"That was fun, again, again!"

Veralia had a strange little girl for a daughter; one that liked the feeling of hurtling towards the ground. She couldn't even fathom that there was another like her. She smiled. Indeed, only hers would.

"You can open your eyes"

She did so.

"Now Fina, as I was saying, you shouldn't always do things that seem fun, what would happen if you were gobbled up?" Veralia scolded in a soft voice.

"Mama would be sad" Fina said

"Don't do that again, alright?"

Fina shook her head. Veralia smiled and patted her head. They continued with their journey, Fina in Veralia's arms.

"Oh! I can see papa flying!"

They all looked up and saw a figure far high up in the sky. The figure quickly descended and crashed near them.

"What a graceful landing," joked Veralia.

Strox smiled and patted Fina.

"Indeed and rather lazy of you to not clean up your mess," he said smirking.

"Rather lazy of you to leave your wife to fight a beast," she responded.

Yet again, he had no comeback.

"Yay! Mama won!" shouted Fina.

"Why are you happy about that?!"

Fina giggled, Veralia smirked and Strox was defeated. Even Finaria grinned at Strox's defeat.

"I'll wipe that grin of your face, watch yourself" he said shaking his fist towards her.

She waved its paw at him, daring him to try. Strox merely scoffed and looked the other way.

"Papa's scared of Finaria!" Fina said, giggling.

"What no! I simply had mercy on it, besides, Enischy would be sad if I hurt Finaria," Strox said.

None believed it. Fortunately he wouldn't have to wallow in his defeat for long. Remu village was soon coming into view. However something was wrong. Veralia could tell the village warriors looked tense. In fact some of them were missing. Suddenly she picked up the acrid smell of blood. She immediately tensed up and doubly hurried on home to the North East of the main gate as Strox headed out to scout the area to gather more information.

Veralia was somewhat relieved to see their home still untouched. However, that didn't mean Enischy was safe. As she approached the house the door to their house opened and a small skinny boy with dark blue eyes with an intricate natural eye shading around his eyes stood beside it. His silky jet black hair contrasted sharply with his pure white linen cloth that he wore across his body.

"Welcome ba-"

"Is big brother back?" Fina cut in.

My lips straightened into a harsh line. I glared at her for a moment then looked at mother, she seemed a bit anxious but equally curious. I sighed.

"He's gone out to visit Lanuer"

"Oh my, that's good," she said relieved, "seems I'll get a daughter-in-law soon"

She chuckled. Fina pouted.

"No! Who am I gonna play with?"

"You can always play with Ergon"

"I can't play with Ergon! He's too weak!"

I jerked a bit. Veralia scowled. She tightly pinched Fina's cheek.

"That's not nice, Fina!" she scolded.

"But ish true," Fina mumbled with tearful eyes.

Veralia pinched her even tighter.

"You don't have to pinch her so hard," I intervened.

She looked at me for a moment, heaved a sigh, let go of Fina's cheek and flicked my forehead.

"You're too nice, Ergon" she said, smiling.

I smiled awkwardly and turned to close the door. Before I did, I looked to the South West. I stood there staring.

"You're sure there weren't any dungeon breaks?" he asked.

"Yes, Gathron, I ordered a comprehensive scouting mission on surrounding lands and there were no dungeon breaks or even dungeons,"

The Gathron was stupefied. A situation he had insured against had occurred. Before he left for the expedition, he had used his blood to attract most beasts to the western basin of the Nigre River. His blood! He didn't understand how the beasts could resist the intoxication of his blood. He now thought of Cralia's words. Beasts were indeed becoming a nuisance nowadays. He turned to Kungatha.

"How many casualties?"

"Thirty seven warriors," Kungatha stated.

A number that surpassed his estimates from the scouting he had just done. The Gathron also noted that there numerous kinds of beast corpses. There were Orcs, Ostrogorths, Mbutuas and even Rawkrons, the most aggressive beasts on the land, even to their own. He could only think of two possibilities in his head. Either there was someone with blood much more potent than his to attract beasts of such magnitude or another monster king had just risen. His body quivered slightly as the massive scar across his chest ached. He didn't want another so soon but it seemed the more likely scenario of the two. It would also explain why beasts around the Phebes village, their ally, were getting more virile and active.

"Gathron?"

"Huh?... Oh right, are the boys safe?"

"Yes, we arrived before the attack, same to the second group."

"That's good. Keep up the good work and don't engage any monsters, just report any abnormalities. Communicate my command to the rest."

"Understood"

Kungatha immediately rushed off. He too took off. Things were getting more serious. The Amoraks across the river seemed to be eyeing them more than usual, the Grimbakas to the east were becoming more hostile and the beasts around his village may have a king. They even launched an invasion. Not to mention they suffered casualties and the walls got damaged. He quickly had to organize repairs and drill the warriors until they at least opened their first and second limiters. He had hoped the soon to be warriors would finish their training quickly but this was unlikely. He had faith in his son but not the rest. Seems they'd be lacking fresh recruits for a while. He sighed. He had much to do but his current task was what he hated doing most. He had arrived at the chief's homestead. He had to make a report before thinking of countermeasures.

"This is going to be difficult"

He pressed his hand against an air filled sac-like membrane and the vines intertwined into the walls produced a trumpet-like sound. He wondered why he even bothered building a wall for the chief.

(Well it's good I did, it won't be his for long.)

The gates swang open. The guards ushered him in. He swiftly strode to the chief's massive house.

On entering, he found the chief seated on his wooden throne. He was a surrounded by a bevy of beautiful women pleasuring him in all sorts of disgusting ways. Some were young enough to be his daughters. Strox's disgust nearly showed on his face. Upon his arrival, the women stopped what they were doing. Some averted their eyes whilst others blushed. The chief didn't like that. He hit his hand hard against the wood of his throne causing his layers of fat to ripple.

"What're you doing here and why are you just standing?! Kneel!"

He sighed and knelt.

"I have an important matter to discuss with you, oh mighty one,"

"What can a handicapped man possibly have to discuss with one as important as I?"

"Its-"

"Silence! Be gone! I have no need for your presence. Leave!"

He heaved a heavy sigh. He got up and headed for the exit. The chief had a despicable grin on his face.

"See! I am powerful aren't I?"

He said pushing the women closer to him.

"There's no way a traveller and his accursed children can be of-"

Strox turned. Glared at him. The chief's senses and world was filled with Strox's presence. Suddenly, Strox's aura flared and he felt as if a massive mountain had been placed on top of him. Strox took one step back and the Earth shook from its might, nearly collapsing the entire building.

"I'll warn you, don't insult my family. Understood?"

The chief went silent and started shivering. Strox turned and left. He longed for the day he could just cut off his head but it wasn't time, not yet. He wondered how far ahead he'd be if the chief didn't constantly intervene with his plans and that pet of his, Kiriku.

After making a stop at Rimache's house, he headed home. As soon as he approached his house, he was enveloped by a mouth-watering aroma. She was cooking. This was something he could never, will never and never missed. He hastened his pace, opened the door and found Fina playing with Finaria.

"Papa, you're back!" she said rushing over.

Strox knelt and embraced his little daughter.

"What're you up to, you little mischievous lady," he said snuggling with her.

She giggled, "Nothing! Just playing with Finaria."

"Oh, don't want to bother your play time" he said letting her go.

She nodded and quickly rushed towards Finaria, tackling her. She was wrestling with Finaria who was five times her size. She was truly a special one. He smiled but quickly remembered why he was in such a rush. He quickly strode to the kitchen. There he found his wife meticulously cutting green Raok tubes, lifted the chopping board and, using her knife, slid them into the cooking pan. Steam erupted and a sizzling sound pervaded the atmosphere. With grace, she put down the chopping board and placed Wolox meat on it.

"Where'd you get that meat?" Strox asked, a bit worried

"Don't worry, dear," Veralia responded casually.

She sliced it into tiny edible chunks as she rolled them in the Raok essence left on the chopping board. She slid them into the cooking pan and controlling the temperature of the Sawake plant's flames, let the meat sizzle in its own fat. The whole time, Enischy and Ergon, at the opposite end of the cooking counter, were watching with immense focus so as to absorb every detail of her procedures. They truly were his sons. He too knew the process was just as magnificent as the end product. Some would argue even more so. Leave alone the men who wouldn't even approach the kitchen. They were idiots of the highest calibre. They didn't know what they were missing out on.

She opened a wooden compartment above the counter, took a small wooden can and opened. It was empty. We were out of Ngaripe powder balls.

"Enischy, Ergon could you go get me some more Meri flowers?"

We nodded and took off to the garden. He smiled.

(They were going to make fine men)

He focused on Veralia. Her melodious humming, soft and angelic, her long, luscious, silky, black hair flowing majestically with every meticulous movement she made. Her languid and full breasts looked soft to the touch. Her skin, soft and without blemish, glowed against the lighting. Her bulging hips swayed bewitchingly. Her right thigh slightly exposed through the partition at the hips of her red linen cloth. He was hypnotised. He placed his hands on her hips. She jerked as his fingers sunk into her hips.

"Strox... the kids are awake..." she said trying to be composed.

"I'm not hearing a no," he said as his hands crept from the side of her hips to her pleasurable area. Her knees lost some strength the moment he started rubbing it. Her knees touch each other, unintentionally pushing her hips out.

His own beast had awaken, after weeks of being dormant. He brushed aside his toga, he wanted to feel her directly. He pushed her hips into his crotch and her voluptuous buttocks smacked into his hot rod sending ripples of pleasure throughout his body. She let out a soft moan. He loved the feel of it being squeezed within valley of her rump. He slowly moved his hips up and down, his rod reaching all the way to her upper back. She moaned every time his balls smacked against her. He could feel some moisture under her garment. She put her hand over her mouth, trying to stop herself from moaning. He softly removed her hand and suddenly thrusted his rod upwards producing a loud smacking sound. She let out a loud moan. She was gasping for air. He lifted her face to his using his left hand whilst still in their position, their hot breaths heating up the moment. Her crystalline azure eyes looked more attractive than ever, the intense blush across her beautiful face riled him up even more. He kissed her luscious, full and red lips. Their tongues intertwined as they continuously smacked their lips together, mixing their saliva. Whilst still kissing her, he resumed his thrusting motion, however, she soon started grinding her hips against him. He moved his right hand from her hips and softly fondled her breast. Her eyes widened as she moaned. She got more aggressive, grinding against him harder and kissing him more fervently. He too got into the heat of things, caressing her nipple and breast expertly as he thrust his rod with renewed vigour. Her garments had now started getting wet. He smirked. He stopped for a moment and lifted the garment's bottom half. Her bare butt was now before him. He loved the sight before him. However, she was getting impatient. She smacked her bare butt into his hard rod, a massive wave of pleasure erupting within him. He immediately started thrusting hard, his balls smacking hard against her bare and displayed vaginal lips, making her moan. They resumed their kissing, now more passionate than ever as he got his hand under her garment and fondled her bare breasts. Erotic sounds filled the air; their kissing, their bodies smacking together and their moans.

Suddenly, the main door was shut with a loud bang. The kids were back. Enischy and I walked in to the kitchen to a spectacular sight. Our father was behind our mother his hips pressed against her butt hidden by the cloth she wore but that was not what caught our eyes. What caught our eyes, was that our father was holding a knife by its blade and was relentlessly pounding Wolox meat with its handle as if trying to cut it.

"Papa, that's not how you hold a knife." Enischy said, clueless.

His father was tense for a moment then clicked his tongue and said, "Boy, you do not know the ways of a master cook. This is what you do to soften it, isn't that right honey?"

He asked her, pressing himself harder against her butt. She bit her lips and nodded. He smirked at Enischy and me, "Now leave as we continue our 'intricate' procedures."

We looked at each other confusedly, each one confused by a different aspect of what we were witnessing, we eventually left and joined Fina. They immediately dressed themselves properly. She looked at him with a terrifying ferocity.

"Sorry, I may have gone overboard..."

"May?" she retorted.

"...You still liked it though," he said smirking.

She blushed intensely, hit him on the head again and took the trays of food and went out to serve the children.

"Aww, what a shy girl," he said waltzing into the dining room.

After a short prayer, they immediately dug in. Our taste buds were assailed by a flurry of different flavours as the tenderised meat poured out delicious thick juices every time we chewed them.

(Maybe father really was right) I thought.

"It's so good! You should really teach me how to cook," Enischy said, his mouth filled with food.

Veralia giggled, "Don't talk with food in your mouth, and eat up first!"

Fina, Strox and Enischy slammed their empty bowls on the wooden table and pushed them towards mother. She smiled and served them seconds. I too got into the mood and by the time they finished I had eaten my third bowl.

Strox's face suddenly started developing a nasty smirk across his face. He turned to Enischy.

"On a quick note, I heard that Vegri really misses you,"

"Huh? What? Where'd that come from?"

"Oooooh!" sang Fina, "look how flustered he is."

"What'd you do to her for her to like you?" asked Strox maniacally.

"What! Nothing!" he exclaimed, a little flustered, "She's as young as Ergon! Way too young!"

"And you still wooed her, you bad boy!" exclaimed his father teasingly.

He looked to mother for assistance but woe unto him!

"Ara! Ara! Looks like I'm getting two daughters-in-law," she teased her lips curving into a mischievous smile

"Mom! She's just a kid!"

"A six year gap isn't uncommon," she teased.

"Two timing, eh? Enischy my boy!" Strox said patting his back.

"Lanuer won't be happy," Fina added mischievously.

"Guys, I'm sure she doesn't like me," Enischy said desperately.

"What makes her pay special attention to you in her messages and not Ergon?" she asked, smiling victoriously.

A nearly perfect question whose only flaw was that it attacked me. Enischy opened his lips, trying to counter but soon closed them. He saw her point.

"Alright, alright let's stop teasing him and get to bed," said mother with finality.

The parents took them to bed and tucked them in. Our mother kissed each of us on the forehead and left the room as father closed the door, all the while smirking.

It was quiet for a moment then suddenly, Fina started tickling Enischy who swiftly returned the favour. The room was filled with their loud laughter. I couldn't sleep.

"Could you guys please keep quiet? I'm trying to sleep here," I said.

Fina pouted, "Your no fun and mean! That's why you don't have friends."

That cut too deep. I felt a surge of anger rise within me but I swiftly turned my back towards them.

"Oi, Fina that was mean! Ergon sh-"

"Goodnight!" I said with finality. I so desperately wanted my own room.
