Synopsis
She's a hypocrisy woman. A messy, imperfect, ever-evolving woman. Who desire to love so desperately and simultaneously be detached from it all, of wanting everything and wanting nothing at all. Her love is like blinking. Like knowing the way home. Like mindlessly dreaming at night. Like never needing half a thought to breathe. Loving her is like a clockwork of all being.

Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1: VILLA FLORENTINA

"What would you like to drink?" He asked.

"Iced matcha coconut milk latte," I'm seriously looking what I want to order. We're here in Tagaytay. "Sliced ube velvet cake," I added as my lips curved and forms a smile.

This spot is colossal and exquisite. I haven't eaten yet but thankfully Max invited me to eat.

I'm wearing knee-length black tubes with my white stilettos. The warmer knit cardigan wrapped around my body.

Fortunately, there aren't many people here so we can have a decent talk. My business partner Max and I are discussing a crucial issue regarding what is going on at the company today.

"I previously spoke with the marketing manager. Gradually, they corrected the issue, and perhaps in June, we will launch a product. The sales this May dropped since they didn't fix it properly. However, Brand Management tells me that analysis of how a brand is currently perceived in the market." He clarified while handing me a documented case.

I picked it up and read what was on it. Here is information on a new creation that will be available in June. There will likely be another meeting to discuss this, still, I'm not sure if the CEO will allow it. Mercifully, Max informed me about this product because I had never heard of it.

"Let's just wait for the announcement from the head," he uttered, "I believe there will be a conference this coming week."

Before they serve the food we had ordered, he continued to talk about the business. He claimed to have an urgent task to complete, so we only spoke briefly. I want to rest at home. Since it's already 5:48 p.m., I'll just visit the company tomorrow.

When Max and I were going to go out to dinner, I called my driver to come to get me. He offered to drive me home, but I declined because I knew he had to attend to something.

I said goodbye to him when we finished eating, "I'll go first, Max, thank you for your treat. I appreciate it." We shook hands and then walked away without glancing back.

I noticed my car as soon as I got to the parking lot, and I also noticed the driver. I greet him. I'm so exhausted.

I looked out the window and witnessed how the sky changed its colour from golden hues to a diverse array of dark blue and purple as the sunset.

It was late when we got home. The driver, Norven, immediately said goodbye to go home to their house. Their house is close to here, so whenever I'm not dropping off or picking me up, he's only there at their house.

I'm alone here in my house. I don't even go home to my parent's house because it's far away. It's tiring to travel that far. I know how to drive but sometimes when I'm tired I just call Norven to pick me up.

I'm perched on the counter table and leaning on the bar stool chair. To prepare for sleep, I sip fresh milk. I already had enticing red pajamas on. I'm simply a little sleepy and a little bit thinking about everything.

I got up early the following morning. Even though it is just five in the morning, my spirit is already awake. Since I start work at 8 am, I have plenty of time to fix myself. I was simply dressed in white tank tops and high-waisted pants. High heels and makeup were also on me.

Although I still have time to cook, I choose to eat outside as cooking might make me unclean. I can now drive, so I didn't call Norven.

I headed to Villa Florentina, that's the closest restaurant to my house. I parked the car and got out. I walked to the vestibule of the restaurant and was immediately approached by the crew I knew.

I saw her smiling.

"How can I help you, madam? You look great today," she uttered and hugged me.

"Do I look gorgeous every day right? Not just today," I said while laughing. When she let go of the hug, she looked at me.

"Every day."

She followed me to the second floor and pointed to an empty seat. She said goodbye first so I went straight to the table. I immediately took the menu that was in the centre of their table.

A little later I ordered. The peace is so good, I've only just been here again because I've been overwhelmed with work. I am often here to see the man I love. And continue the loved even though I know it's not possible anymore.

"Here's your order ma'am,"

I want to explode when I hear his voice. I slowly turned to the side and looked at him. I was shocked asf. Just now again, I got to see her beautiful face.

The shock was also obvious to him. We both did not expect this. He directly put down the food he was holding and immediately turned away.

"Caden,"

I barely mentioned his name. He didn't look back, he continued walking. My heart aching while watching him get away from me. To this day I still can't forget him. I don't know how to forget him. It's been 6 years since the very heartbreaking happened and now the painful memories remain.

He's Caden Fiero, he has soft, lustrous, and unkempt dark brown hair. Flawless skin and hazelnut eyes. I can't forget every detail of his body. His scent seems to be hard to let go of.

But what else can I expect from him? He was fucking mad at me. And I know where his anger towards me comes from. He has a right, and I can't do anything.

I can't eat the food on my plate. I saw him here last year and found out that he works here as a chef. He achieved what he had long dreamed of.

You're unyielding Caden, you always impress me with what you do. But I'm still hurting from everything.
