SLAM!
The door was heard being opened, with a huge sound. Will Evans prepares to go to his room upstairs, tip-toeing while doing so, but a sudden roar stopped him in his tracks.
"Will Patrick Evans, come down here, this instant!"
Realizing that the Vice Principal have told his mother about what he did in school, he meandered his way into the kitchen. There his mother stood, with both arms crossed in her chest, giving him a piercing stare as he meekly stood in front of her.
"I heard what happened at school, young man. Care to explain, hmmm?"
"I was just, he just, ugh. He started it first."
"I don't care who started it first, why did you get riled up and start fighting with him. I told you so many times not to do so, we came here searching for a calm and peaceful life, after what happened that." Replied Maggie, with silent tears at the corner of her eyes.
"But mom, Duke started it. He told me my father abandoned us and ran away with a mistress cause you were too ugly. He insulted both my parents, and I won't take it standing still." Said back Will, with tears running down his face "I just did not want them to keep on making fun of you guys."
"Oh baby, I know, I know. But we must what we can. We must make sure that your father's sacrifice was not for naught." Whispered Maggie, while stroking Will's cheeks to comfort him.
"I will head upstairs mom, and do my homework. Please do not disturb me in any shape or form."
With a shaky sigh, Will headed to his room, where he instead worked on the puzzle his father left him before his untimely demise.
"Just what is it, what is inside that caused the death of dad, I must find out."
With this determination, Will began to solve the puzzle. Nearly 5 hours later, when it was getting dark, he gave up in frustration, realizing that the final piece was near impossible to complete. With anger in his eyes, he kicked the puzzle into the corner, and stood up from his seat. But just then, a soft shuck was heard, signifying that the puzzle was opened, and out from the puzzle, dropped a watch.
