After my shock for Solara's response had worn off, which actually happened pretty quickly, I ended up polymorphing a couple of "arms" and said, "Wait, wait, wait. Why is this a thing or what caused this to be the case?" while moving my "arms" to match the first part of my question.
She chuckles lightly in response, makes me thing of morning dew for some reason. Then follows with, "When I first addressed you an energy thread that signifies strong bonds appeared. After it disappeared and you responded the way you did, I recognized you were serious."
By this time my "arms" have disappeared, and I make a kind of still wave with part of my body to make a nodding motion. As she continues, "Of course, that isn't all. I was personally informed by the system in charge of summoning that there was a chance I would meet someone worthy of my love. I've been having poor luck with everyone I've tried to be in a relationship on this world, so took her message with a grain of salt." I pause my nodding as a result of hearing that.
"I've had similarly poor luck myself, just had no knowledge or notice of potential reasons why." I reply, "Also, does she...um the system? Does she interact often with people?" I question.
"No, not always. Though she tends to give important notifications on occasion that can determine the fates of more than those involved." She responds.
I nod again in the "still wave-like" form. Then I asked a very important question. "So how does the leveling aspect work here? I've read stories that use exp as a means of tracking growth, but how does this work here?"
"The leveling up way in this world is more akin to feat accomplishment giving you the necessary boost to grow. So, the feats give you experience. Feats are usually quantified as a group of quests that lead to a specific kind of recognition. Now, not all feats are good to achieve though all will cause you to grow stronger. However, it wouldn't surprise me if you can gain experience through normal things as well. An example would be killing monsters or just completing quests." Solara explains.
I nod again in that same form still and start to ponder. After checking my status again, I notice there is now a choice I can make.
[Choice for growth: Standard of the world which allows the gaining of experience in the course of completing feats. Can go with standard killing/quest completion for exp. Both will work, though the Standard Killing/Quest completion style is easier for people to track. There is no other difference.
Feat or Killing/Quest Completion?]
I end up pondering some more. Knowing that there really isn't a difference between the two outside of ease of tracking makes it so that the choice is difficult. Though knowing how I tend to lose focus if I don't have an obvious goal to follow, I decide to go with the Killing/Quest Completion style and can now see a section right under level that states: [Exp: 0/200].
If I had eyes one would be raised. In the end I figured the requirement was due to being a stronger form of slime. If I'm not the strongest type of slime in existence. Granted that hardly means I'm the only one of this type.
I then ask, "What does each stat mean, I have a vague idea just lack the full understanding." Solara responds, "Well, Con refers to all physical attributes such as health, resistances to status ailments, strength, stamina, and defense. Mind refers to intelligence, mental acuity, memory, ability to learn and apply knowledge, and strength of Magical or Energy based attacks and defenses. Spirit is more the capacity you have for mana in the body, how well you can sense it and ability to resist attacks on your soul."
I currently look like a still wave with arms crossed nodding and thoughtful about the new information. Finally, I decided to ask the all-important question. "Why was I summoned here?"
There's a brief silence, one that comes before important information is shared. It was barely even tense oddly enough. "You were summoned because some kind of calamity is coming. We don't know the specifics of it let alone why a slime is considered to be the best option."
I hear a disdainful voice coming from behind me. Turning to look, I see a gentleman, well that's being slightly generous. He seems to be angular. He's also not human, I can tell that much just am not sure what to call him. He's stone-like, slightly sparkly, and very, well, angular. After a moment, something unexpected occurs.

{You've received the Appraisal skill; this was supposed to have been available from the beginning. Sorry for the oversight}
I decide to think a reply and go, {Thank You!}
{...You're Welcome}, She kinda shyly stated. I was pleasantly surprised by the response, then returned my focus to Lupine.
"Sir Lupine, I'm hardly a normal slime. If you have appraisal, after all I can't see that, it may mention something. Then again, based on how I was addressed and the apparent anger at what the second thing said by Solara was. I think that any information seen might only be what my stats are and maybe that I'm a special kind of slime." I retort, before finishing with, "Finally, I was originally human and somehow when I was summoned became a slime that can help you. So please, at minimum treat me as a human as that has been my race all my life till now."
