Chapter 12 - I, Who created worlds

I am a World Creator, a Sub-Logos, a god among gods. And this is the story of my first creation.

Kalamahkhu-makulahka is my name. You might find that name too cumbersome, or that name might sound ancient to your ears. It's an old name, from a time before I became a Sub-Logos. When you reach that level of power and creativity, your name has no significance; rather, your presence defines who you are.

But still, being addressed by name is important to me. Why don't you call me Horum instead? That's the name I chose for myself when I became a Sub-Logos.

I, Horum, World Creator, am debuting my first creation. I'm curious… how many soul volunteers will there be?

Nothing is ever boring in existence; there is always something new to discover. As a newly appointed Creator, I felt a lack of inspiration. I tried various combinations, but nothing satisfied me. I was missing something essential.

But then, I found my muse. I saw a forest that captivated me, and I wanted to make a world like that. Ideas flooded my mind. I was enchanted by our conversation.

Humans are strange beings, indeed. They walk on only two legs, even though they have four limbs. How do they balance like that?

When I was a Sentient Being, I had six legs, and I used them all to move. As a Transcendental and a Guide, I met many creatures with eight legs or more. Legs are beautiful. How can having fewer legs be attractive? It is unbelievable.

I have made up my mind. I will create humanoid beings from now on.

I was grateful for the chance encounter with the human. I should probably start calling him by his name. But wait, I never asked him. He must have gone back to his home by now.

I finished constructing the Seed; I had a feeling this would work. As I was about to leave, the Draft Space rippled. Someone was trying to enter. Should I let them in? I was ready to begin, but someone had already intervened.

I was surprised when I opened the door. Another humanoid being? From another universe again? Who was he?

I threw him the same translation prism that I used for the other human.

"Please excuse my intrusion; my name is Earl. I'm a Guide to the one who was recently here with you. Is he still around?"

"He left already; I will send you to where he went."

"Okay…"

I sent him to the Octave before he could say anything else.

Alright, the obstacle was gone. Let's get started.

I wondered if I should start from scratch. I had already made many worlds; maybe there was one I could use.

No. No. No. This one won't do. No. No. No. No.

Huh? He was back? Didn't I send him to the Octave?

Maybe he was somehow connected to the world when I mending the elements. Maybe his soul was partly tied to it. Hmmm. He couldn't go back; the world would always pull him. If I finished mending this world, he would be bound to the new realm.

What should I do?

This world would be chaotic if I used it. There would be different humanoids, not just humans.

Well, that was fine, I guessed.

This world would do; everything was in order. And my kin would also appear here; I wanted to see a humanoid cockroach; that would be a new kind of beauty.

I made up my mind. This was it.

The process of creating a world is straightforward. Imagine several layers of transparent paper, with the first layer having only lines, the second layer having shapes, the third layer having colors, and so on. When seen from above, they form the whole picture. A realm that casts shadows on each other.

A three-layered world would look like a planet. I would look like a star in the third realm.

But life can only thrive from the third realm onwards, when time starts to flow and life begins to seem like it is happening and evolving.

And the human who is stuck in the second realm would have a strange experience there.

I am going to start mending now to make an optimal environment for the Seeding.

At last!

The third realm was emerging, and only the Seeding was left; this would complete the third realm's manifestation.

But then, another surprise.

I sensed another human who appeared at the same time. He seemed to be waiting for the third realm to materialize.

It couldn't be…

He was a female human. But that was not the strange part; she was a soul who belonged here.

I suddenly felt all of her experiences on Earth and in this new realm. How did this happen? Before I knew it, everything was already in motion. It probably started when the other human appeared.

Her presence here meant that she had been brought to the third realm while the other human stayed in the second. Why? Was it because she was drawn by her previous self?

For now, I dragged her to the Draft Space.

I decided to finish the Seeding first.

I scattered the Seed in all directions, and he would see it as a kind of fireworks display, a rare spectacle that only he could witness.

What a lucky guy.

Everything was done.

The only thing left was to watch and wait for Nature Beings to emerge; eventually, Sentient Beings would appear, and I would be able to experience everything they felt, both joy and pain.

Go forth, my children, and make the world blossom with your will. Your father is here to watch over you.

I might create my own incarnation to explore my creation, and he would probably want some explanation.

In the Draft Space,

I talked to her. Alex was her current incarnation name on Earth. I tried to explain things that she needed to know. But, surprisingly, she was such a ditz. Only when I told her a fairy tale-like story did she get it, or maybe not…

I accompanied Alex to the Octave since she was the first soul I felt and I wanted to at least escort her. Her journey was my journey too.

Being a Creator meant not only creating but also knowing and immersing oneself in one's creation. But when she was in another universe, the connection was weak.

The Octave brought her back, and it was now up to her.

As I was about to leave,

"Take these humans with you," the Octave said.

What?

A lot of humans appeared. What did this mean?

"They are also lost," the Octave added, "But I can't send them back yet. They are perfect for your latest creation."
