Amanda soon arrived at Maggi's place looking sad and anxious, sad at what her husband did and anxious at the result of what Maggi said she was going to do. Maggi met her in the sitting room looking worn out.
" Hi, Amanda",
" Hi Maggi, you look exhausted",
" hm yeah, and you look angry, why?",
" urghh", she grunted, " who else would be the reason if not Ramses",
" What did he do this time around?", she asked as she took her seat beside her,
" He wants to send I and Antonio away",
" Away? To where? And why?",
" The doctor said Antonio needs to change environment but all he did was talk about Dave",
" So what are you planning to do, where did you want to go?",
" I don't know, for now, many Italy or Australia but that's not important now, how's it? Any contact with my son?".
Margaret swallow down her spit, blinking her eyes before answering her,
" He's doing very fine, he's well taken care of and of course he's alive",
" I know he's alive, I just want to know how he's fairing. We both know that if he dies there, his duplicate will be dead here ",
"Yeah, so relax and take care of your son's duplicate ",
"Yeah, you look exhausted I would let you rest",
" And you? I can't leave you here all by yourself ",
" I'm going to the pack so don't worry about me ",
"Let me see you off then", she said and with that, she saw her off.
Amanda went to the White House, the huge house with a large garden popularly known among the wolves as the home of the werewolves. Many werewolves could be seen on the field training, some are training in terms of speed, some in terms of strength and some are beginners trying to get familiar with their wolfs. Some bloodlines have some things in common, The majority of the werewolves with emerald eyes are known to be the guardians now known as security of either an elite family, of an event, or occasion but even with that, they are well respected, and treated as equals but with roles and also they can decide not to be one but it has been in existence right from the time that if a security should be chosen it must be the one with emerald eyes as they are known for stiff and strict nature while those with light brown eyes are the servants, they are families with the reputation of having an intense loyalty and would never betray their master for anything, but they gets to choose their master by themselves.
There are said to be some special colors, red and grey, these colors are rare and can only be found among Alphas, they represent an extra strength and power that the bearer possesses, these powers can't be underestimated as they involve supernatural powers which are still unknown as there are hardly any one who bears it.
Though some families are normal werewolves with no special Genes and these set of werewolves strive to become elites, these families might have their special genes which could be revealed at any time.
These colors can only be revealed when they've lost their virginity and any werewolves from the revealed family who have lost their virginity but his or her eye color remains the same are known as the outcasts and to know their fate and not be recognized as one, they were always eager to lose their virginity to be able to brag and show off their family Gene.
Amanda changed into a black legging and a black crop top and packed her hair in a ponytail before jogging to the field where she planned to run some meters to refresh herself before heading back. She was stretching out when her old rival walked to her side.
" Can't remember the last time we saw you here", A green-haired lady said. She was wearing all green with her emerald eyes glaring at Amanda who said without looking at her,
" It's not a must to always come around",
" of course, it's not, not after the death of Dave".
Amanda paused for a minute before she continued stretching,
" Dave cannot be a reason for a werewolf to keep practicing, he's not even one",
" but yet you go out with him",
" till I realize we can't be together",
" you mean after you get betrothed and break his heart",
" Isn't that an opportunity to go for him? You've always been interested in him",
" I would have but your devilish husband wouldn't, because of your foolish and selfish interest, you killed all of them. Every one of them just because you have the power",
" I found out late",
" Liar!", Stella spit close to her, " They did nothing wrong, you and your husband manipulated it and made them seem like a threat to our race <> they were all killed<> if only Dave had known, he couldn't have even look at you cause you are so unworthy of him not to talk of his cares", she said and walked away in anger.
" Yeah", Amanda said to herself, " the only mistake Dave made was loving me, the only mistake he made was to tell me ' he loved me", she said and immediately shifted to her wolf.
She gave out a loud growl and began to run, ran into the woods as fast as she could with the hope of losing her way, with the hope of her past disappearing behind her but even if that happened she knew she would come back. Because she has something she wants to protect even with her life.
