After around 6 days of messing around we decided to continue training so we would become stronger and then we might be able to save Zao Gu's mother.
"Are we doing sword cultivation of normal cultivation?" Zao Gu said.
"Let's do some normal cultivation, because our normal cultivation is below our sword cultivation." Xu Wen said.
"Sure." Zao Gu and Yu Chen said.
"Here I will hand over the control to you Xu Wen." Zao gu said.
"I get that you wanted to have some fun with your mom but why could we not control the body for over 6 days, I mean it is our body now and not just yours."
"Sorry bout that I just really wanted to play some games with my mom and have fun with her." Zao Gu said.
"That kinda sus though." I heard Yu Chen say.
"What does that mean?" Zao Gu said to Yu Chen.
"Well sus mea....."
I went to fucus on my cultivation instead of listening to their dumb talks.
I sat down in the lotus position and started cultivating the five godly fire lotuses.
After 5 hours of cultivating I stopped for a second to check my cultivation it had gone up to beginner cultivation disciple 9th level.
"ooh that is quite good."
"I'll have to halt my cultivation for a while because to advance an entire level I would have to get a minor achievement like slaying somebody who is stronger than me or spending 10 minutes in a state near death.
If you lose consciousness in that state you will instantly die."
"You want to cultivate your sword cultivation now or tomorrow." I asked Zao Gu.
"Let's do it tomorrow." I heard him say with a smile.
"Sure."
I switched with Yu Chen because he wanted to walk towards the city and absorb the beautiful scenery.
We have got to bond more and more over these past days. We have become great friends. We even found out how to merge our inventory. Well I can't say we found out it was all thanks to Yu Chen. He said something about it just requiring some basic thing, but I don't think that is it I think it is because he can't do a lot in the sense of fighting. So he probably wanted to be useful.
He told us a little about his previous life on the way back, but as the city came into view he was the first to notice smoke.
He said the smoke came from around the direction of our house and I swapped with Xu Wen because he is the fastest of us.
But before we switched Yu Chen activated the dash skill which doubles your max speed.
Yu Chen immediately ran. After only about 2 minutes we had crossed around 5KM but the city is 10KM because we live in one of the 5 major cities in this continent. Although this city is commonly regarded as the weakest of the 5 even being weaker than some of the minor cities. The amount of people who live here is around 1500000. We live on the edge of the city where the least people live and most of the people here are or poor or don't want anything to do with the rich.
As we arrived after another minute we saw it. The house was completely burnt down and destroyed.
I heard somebody say next to me. "Ha we got it let's go collect our payment."
"Yes brother I don't know why they offered so much for such an easy task."
As I looked into the fire I saw a corpse. I recognised it, it was my mom.

"I'll take control and kill those sons of a bitches." I said.
I pulled out the small condensed rock and threw it at one of them.
It went straight through the youngest looking one.
He was dispatched.
"Recall." It was a new skill I had learnt. It returns an item that I have just called out of my inventory back into my inventory even if it is not in my hand.
Yu Chen then said: "Watch out the remaining people are at 1st level of advanced cultivation disciple."
"Okay I will keep that in mind." I answered.
I pulled out the spear we had bought yesterday with Zao Gu's mom. She didn't seem suspicious we wanted a spear that was nice but now she is dead I am kind of mad.
I charged in and stabbed at one of their heads but missed and instead made a big wound near the supraspinatus muscle.
He also stabbed at my head but I slightly stepped away and he only made a scratch at the part of my flesh above the sphenoid bone.
I aimed at his leg and stabbed with the top of the spear and hit his calcaneal tendon. I also gave him a quick jab with my hand infused with KI and blocked his pharynx. I then continued on to the next person. I immediately put my foot in his face and kicked him down to the ground. He was immediately out cold.
I felt myself getting stronger.

Then I heard a voice coming from above but only I heard it not even the rest of the people in our head: "No one reincarnated or regresses when you die it is the end for you three some unknown force interrupted and stopped me from killing your spirit so you were regressed, reincarnated and transmigrated."
"Sigh why am I even saying this it is not like anyone can hear me."
