After only around 1 week everyone had advanced quite graciously, the 2 non brothers that did look like brothers had advanced to the 7th level of beginner cultivation disciple. Tao Zing was the most surprising he has reached 1st level cultivation disciple, he had already achieved a minor achievement.
That new disciple was just lazing around all day so in our mind we had decided to give her a warning and if she didn't start working her butt off we would kick her out of the sect or give her the job of cleaning everything and cooking everything.
So after I told her that she started working a little but I don't think she will be worth a lot, she has yet to go up in any way, shape or form. How she even made it so far was my question.
I myself had been pondering something the past week, who were those voices from and where did they go. I asked the rest if they had seen it but they said they had not heard or seen anything. I will refer to it as the taker from now on.
'Knock Knock Knock.'
"Hmm what could that have been." I thought out loud.
"Probably somebody knocking on the door." Yu Chen said.
"Brilliant my friend. How could I have not thought of that."
"Probably because you didn't expect anyone to knock on a door in the middle of the field."

I slowly stood up to go to the door. I thought: Door to hallway near door to outside. I then opened the door.
When I did I looked in front of me and saw a woman, but not just any woman from her aura I could tell she was a lot stronger than anyone in my sect.
"Who are you." I asked the woman as I pulled out my sword.
"Xu Ling." She said making her sentence just a reply to my question.
"What are you here to do." I asked her with a curious voice.
"I am here on behalf of my sect the forest hand sect to challenge your sect to a 1v1, 10 times below beginner cultivator level. as we noticed that your sect does not have a cultivator or sword cultivator above that realm of power, oh yes that includes no sword cultivators above the 9th layer of sword arts. You are allowed to participate our sect leader is not allowed to participate."
"Can we use weapons."
"Yes"
"Then reply to that message; come to our sect with the 9 disciples tomorrow we have adequate room to make it happen, I am also asking you to please not limit yourself to below cultivator realm and please limit yourself to cultivation warrior and please make it so it will be a continuous battle and not a dragged out one as we only have like 4 members." I answered with a smile.
"He said 10 1v1s."
"I know I am telling her to get off her ass and come fight me."

"That is what he said to me." The person who stood at my door said.
"Wretched fool he really wishes to end his life as fast as possible." the sect leader said with a loud sigh.
"Yes leader, yes leader I do think he doesn't know of your strength.

"Haha I feel great just a little more to go and I think I can become a 1st level cultivation disciple combined with 6th layer sword arts. wanna make a bet Zao Gu let's see what will happen first you advancing to 7th layer sword arts or me advancing to advanced cultivation disciple." I said
"Sure but to make it fair we will switch control every 1 hour from now on." Zao Gu answered with a smirk.
"deal." I answered. "We start now. I will begin."

I didn't do a lot but I did manage to defeat a 6th level advanced cultivation disciple beast I am searching for. a 1st level cultivator beast so I get the minor achievement I need for this level.
‹second hour›
‹Zao Gu›
In this hour I was mainly in the Qi room swinging my sword to develop my sword arts and continue in with my layers I have not achieved the next layer yet, well at the very least I feel like I am getting closer. I did have a minor achievement, when I went outside for a minute or 3 by getting a fire herb. a very rare cultivation herb worth up to 10 small gold pieces.

Not much this hour except for me getting 2 4th level poison cultivation disciple beast orbs.
‹fourth hour›
nothing.
‹fifth hour›
nothing.
‹twelfth hour›
nothing felt a minor improvement but no breakthrough yet.
‹17th hour›
Nothing killed a 9th level beginner cultivator which is just 1 level below what I needed and it didn't even have a beast orb.
‹24th hour 5 hours before the contest between the sects›
Nothing.
As we switched I felt something and when I wanted to say I felt something he said he felt something and we both went up 1 level/layer.
"I hate you." we told each other at the exact same time.
"I am very fired up for that fight with that sect I said as I sat down getting ready for the forest palm sect to arrive."
