Chapter 6 - The traitor (not) is removed from the pack. 1

Author's POV

Liliana woke up as someone kept kissing the back of her neck, it was annoying, and when a sharp object touched her skin, she immediately came to her senses.

"Fredin! Stop it; you promised not to mark me until the elders' plan worked." She said, looking at the man with a perfect body like a god standing before him; his eyes had turned yellow.

There was a growl of disapproval, but Fredin didn't force it and turned his back on her.

"Freddy, I'm sorry. The request of the elders, and also so that we get the blessing to be together, you know if the elders hate mixed blood. After I give birth, you can tag me. They want a pureblood descendant—"

"—And you also think like those elders!! dammit, I must hold back jealousy when you're around Jacob, Lilia!!" Fredin replied, unable to hold back his anger, while his mate hugged his back naked.

They had just finished making love because of Liliana's uncontrollable heat; it was pretty hot and satisfying. But Fredin had to refrain from marking his mate because of his bloodline; he had the blood of a Minotaur, a monster with a head like a bull and a big, muscular body. Making his body tall, athletic, and beautiful; his eyes are faded blue, and his facial posture is firm.

Adding a perfect side, even though Fredinis of mixed blood. Just his face, he will be needed for many things. So pleasing his heart and head between his crotch is not a big deal, especially since she enjoys Fredin's touch because they are mates. Every touch feels better and more enjoyable.

"Fredin... please, it's only for two years. After that, we can be free."

.....

Verity was paraded from the prison through the main road to the Moon pack exit; from there, she began to see the crowds of herds waiting to taunt her.

Verity stared blankly at the people who denounced her as a traitor and filthy blood; the entire herd gathered almost the whole way her prison carriage ran. She was in a weak supine position after realizing that her stomach was still protruding, but there was no more movement from his son.

Her stomach felt so cold; there was not the slightest warmth to mean that her son had died in her womb. She no longer wanted life or revenge; everything was over since she woke up after fainting from the pain.

"...You lowly blood!! Get out of our pack!!"

"...How dare a filthy blood like you hurt the Luna Moon pack!!"

"…You deserve it, you traitor!!"

"...Luna has been kind enough to want to be her friend, but she repays good with wickedness!!"

"…Die and don't come back, dammit!!"

Everyone cursed at Verity, but there was no reaction, even when rotten vegetables and stones were thrown at her.

'Moon Goddess, why did you bring me back to life... let me die and accompany my son...'

Verity clothes were tattered, and her body had fresh wounds from the stone-throwing of the Moon pack, which paraded her en masse to the packed gate; their heartrending screams were no longer ignored.

Gradually, the sound began to decrease and disappear. The air is getting colder; the sun starts to fade. She didn't know how long it had been because her mind was utterly blank, and her body froze from the cold; there was no blanket other than a coarse straw sack covering his body.

The guards stopped the carriage, starting to make a bonfire; four guards were accompanying the carriage.

"Are we just going to leave her in the forest of Osiris?" asked one of the youngest guards there.

The oldest guard started biting into his stock of dried meat, "Of course! We'll get paid big, especially since Luna said we could do anything to her before she's dumped. We are still in the outermost area of the Osiris forest, and it will take another half day to get to the middle of the dangerous Osiris forest. Night has come, then the fog of death will be even thicker. It will be hard for us to get out of his hallucination." He said at length.

The youngest guard still looked doubtful, "This woman is the real Luna. Aren't you afraid?"

Laughter could be heard from the other three guards, laughing at the youngest man's fear.

"What do you need to fear from this lowly half-blood she-wolf who doesn't even have the strength to raise her arms? Pity yourself for having to sell your sister to a brothel!!" said the man, who had a wound in a longitudinal incision on the right side of his cheek; the man then glanced at the prison carriage where Verity was still lying on his back motionless. "Is that girl dead? I haven't seen her move since earlier!"

"Natan, you check that lowly woman. I want to eat my bacon first." said the old man called the youngest guard, who immediately stood up to approach the carriage.

Natan steps stopped when he heard a weak tone carried by the wind from the direction of the carriage, "...Cold..." That's the voice of a woman who is the honest Luna from the Moon pack but was rejected by the alpha and thrown away at the behest of a pure-blooded fake Luna.

The elders already knew this but still supported the fake alpha and Luna's lie to admit themselves as a fake pair mate to appease the moon packs, as well as secure the pure bloodline of the alpha.

Natan turned to the three guards behind him, "She's still alive! But… she looks so bad; should we feed her?"

"Give it to her! I don't want to get my hands dirty for low blood like her; after that, eat your portion Natan." Answered the man with a wound on his face; his name is Luca.
