Carson and Alfred welcomed them, but were calm. They thought that they wished to interrogate the victims to trace the hit-and-run driver, but they were mistaken.
“Good morning, officers,” Carson stood up and greeted. Alfred did the same, and the officers responded at once, “Good morning, Young Masters. I am delighted to see you.”
“Thank you, Officer. Can you give the patients' some time before the interview? As you can see. They are on the table,” Carson pleaded. Meanwhile, the moment the officers walked in, and cast the patients a misanthropic look, they became apprehensive. The delicious food, turned to gravel stones in their mouths immediately. Carson saw the apprehensive look, and tried to calm them down, “Friends, eat your food. They merely need your cooperation to fish out the driver who hit you and ran away.”
“Okay,” one of them said, and they breathed freely, and continued with their meal.
