Chapter 22 - Rosendo Teaches Me to Dance

"Willie, what are you doing? That Rosendo is my daughter's boyfriend. How can you let your daughter go after my daughter's boyfriend? Aren't you making them enemies?" Tyson frowned and said.

He had just learned about Rosendo's talent from Willie and was very satisfied with him. Even if Rosendo came from a poor family, he would still be willing to marry his daughter to him. Now that his good friend's daughter wants to steal his future son-in-law, how could he not be anxious?

"Tyson, you're wrong about this. Didn't Johanna tell you just now? Rosendo isn't her boyfriend; he pretended to be her boyfriend because he wanted to avoid those pursuers. Besides, Johanna said she doesn't like him, so it's not considered stealing. I'm letting my Cheryl pursue Rosendo won't affect their friendship," Willie explained.

Tyson became even more anxious and turned to his daughter: "Johanna, did you have a fight with Rosendo? If so, forget it! You should both try to understand each other!"

Hearing Willie's words made Johanna feel even worse than before; she was really angry today: "He is not my boyfriend! Even if I were looking for one, I wouldn't choose someone like him! He is the worst guy I've ever met."

Willie patted Tyson on the shoulder without any conscience and smiled: "It's okay if Johanna doesn't like him! Don't get mad at her; young people are like that!"

Cheryl spoke up as she pulled her father's hand back and forth in a coquettish voice: "Dad, how could you let Cheryl pursue Rosendo without consulting anyone first? Don't you think it's disrespectful?"

Willie turned around and asked his daughter: "Don't you like Rosendo?"

"Not really! I have a good impression of him, but I don't know him very well. Aren't you afraid that he is a wolf in sheep's clothing?" Cheryl's father said with concern.

"You're right. Then spend more time with him and make sure he doesn't have any bad habits. If he doesn't, then you must pursue him," Willie said seriously to his daughter.

"I understand, Dad." In fact, Cheryl was still very happy; Rosendo was a mysterious guy in her eyes and she wanted to get to know him better and learn everything about him.

Rosendo, who was playing around with a group of girls, had no idea that someone was plotting against him.

At this moment, a man wearing a suit and holding a microphone walked out. He spoke loudly through the microphone: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the hotel villa. Today we are having a party hosted by Mr.Tyson - the founder of our corporation in New Mountain City. Mr.Tyson has organized this gathering so that everyone can develop their business relationships further. Those who want to dance please come to the middle of the living room..."

Many men who had been waiting for a long time began to invite the women they liked. Watching the couples dancing in the living room, Johanna was envious and couldn't help but look towards Rosendo. She secretly hoped that Rosendo would come over and ask her to dance, but unfortunately he didn't know what she was thinking.

If Johanna wasn't angry with Rosendo, he would definitely come over and ask her to dance. But now Rosendo wouldn't go because he was afraid of getting a bad reaction from Johanna.

"Hi, why don't you go dance with someone else?" A girl sitting next to Rosendo said in a childish voice.

"I haven't eaten enough yet. You can find someone else." Rosendo refused. The things here were all high-end goods that even if one had money outside, they might not be able to buy them. Finally coming here, of course, Rosendo wanted to cherish it well. If possible, he also wanted to pack some food back for Vanessa!

"But I only have you in my heart! Can you please dance with me? If you don't want to dance with her then how about dancing with me..." All the girls around Rosendo wanted him as their partner; they didn't know what kind of person he was but it didn't matter as long as he looked handsome.

Willie pushed his daughter and quietly pointed at Rosendo indicating that his daughter should invite him for a dance.

Cheryl whispered to her father: "Dad, I understand your meaning but I don't know how to dance! Going there will surely embarrass myself!"

"It's better if you don't know how; just let Rosendo teach you." Willie smiled.

Cheryl thought about it and felt that her father's idea was good so she slowly walked towards Rosendo without knowing that someone behind her was frowning while watching her - It goes without saying that it was Johanna!

Cheryl walked up to Rosendo and smiled at him: "Rosendo, I want to dance but I don't know how. Can you teach me?"

Rosendo helplessly laughed: "Actually, I don't know how to dance either." He could dance, but only the dances of the future century. The old-fashioned dances of the 21st century were not suitable for his identity.

The girls around Rosendo heard what he said and were very happy that he didn't know how to dance; they used this as an excuse so that they could teach him. "Husband, I can dance! Let me teach you!"

"Husband?, are you dating her?" Cheryl asked Rosendo suspiciously.

"She's the one who called me over here. What can I do? Do you want to dance or not? Come on, let's go." Rosendo stood up and took Cheryl's hand towards the living room. He was getting annoyed with all these girls surrounding him; their enthusiasm had gone too far.

As Rosendo held Cheryl's small hand and wrapped his arm around her waist in a certain way like everyone else did while dancing slowly in a corner of the room - their dancing skills were terrible so no one paid attention to them except for Johanna whose lips were still pouting until now.

"Johanna, may I have this dance with you?" Harold walked up politely smiling at Johanna.

Johanna thought about it and agreed because she wanted to make Rosendo jealous by dancing with someone else - just like what he did earlier with Cheryl.
