Chapter 10 - Make Sure You're Handsome Enough to Make Them Swoon

"Rosendo." Johanna exclaimed when she saw Rosendo.

"Rosendo, I was just looking for you! Why did you bully our Johanna? Although our Johanna is a bit wrong, as a boy, how can you bully a weak girl?" Cheryl said seriously with her handsome face.

Rosendo didn't answer Cheryl's question but looked at her and said, "You are so beautiful!"

"Well of course. I am recognized as the school flower of New Mountain University. How could I not be beautiful? Wait! I asked why you bullied our Johanna. Don't change the subject and answer me quickly," Cheryl responded sternly.

"Can you tell me your name?" Rosendo changed the topic again without answering about Johanna.

"What?! You don't even know my name? Are you an alien or something? Anyone in this world knows who Cheryl is!" Cheryl was angry. As celebrities, we both know each other's names but he doesn't know mine? That's disrespectful!

"I remember your name. I was just joking with you! But I didn't expect that when you get angry, it would be so cute especially when pouting like that," Rosendo complimented her.

"Hehe... Your mouth is really sweet, always saying what others like to hear."

"That depends on who it is. If she doesn't have any merits, even if I want to praise her, I don't have the ability or mood to do so. But you are different. When I first saw you, my spirit was lifted and my body felt invigorated. It's rare to find someone with both beauty and temperament these days, but at such a young age, you already possess the looks of a flower that hides its beauty among leaves and the charm of a fish that sinks into water. Your beauty is truly unforgettable."

Cheryl smiled sweetly. Everyone likes being praised especially by handsome guys like him; she forgot completely that she came to find Rosendo for justice for Johanna.

Johanna felt upset inside although she knew her best friend loved compliments from others; still leaving her aside wasn't right either! Wasn't this ignoring behavior towards herself directly? She decided to leave while holding onto the tray thinking "Hmph! This guy only cares about looks and forgets his friends."

Seeing Johanna leaving, Rosendo smiled at Cheryl and said, "Your Johanna left."

"What?! Johanna left? No way! She was just next to me!" Cheryl turned her head to look for Johanna but couldn't find her. When she looked towards the door, she saw Johanna walking out of the cafeteria.

Cheryl handed over her tray of food to Rosendo's table and said, "I haven't eaten yet. My Johanna has gone so I don't have time to eat anymore. You can have it! Bye handsome guy." Then she ran after Johanna.

Rosendo didn't hesitate and shared the food from Cheryl's tray with Vanessa.

"Rosendo, when did you become so cunning?" Vanessa suddenly asked him.

"Cunning? No way! I am very honest; even ants are not bullied by me," Rosendo joked.

"I feel like you've become smarter since losing your memory. But that's good because being smart means no one will bully you again," Vanessa sighed as she remembered how many boys used to bully Rosendo due to his good looks and timid personality which made them think he shouldn't be that handsome if he is such a cowardly person.

"I guess I should consider myself lucky then!" Rosendo smiled faintly.

In another garden, Cheryl pleaded desperately, "Johanna, please forgive me this time! I didn't mean to ignore you. If it weren't for that Rosendo who always says things people like to hear, I wouldn't have forgotten about you. Please forgive me."

"You're such a fair-weather friend. I've decided to end our friendship," Johanna joked.

"Johanna, don't be like that! You can use the Dream Skincare Cream with me." Cheryl pouted and shook Johanna's hand. The Dream Skincare Cream was a gift from her aunt abroad and was worth $10,00. It was also not available on the market and had to be ordered.

"Well then, you better keep your promise," Johanna said happily. She had been wanting to try Cheryl's cream but she never let her use it.

"Okay okay! When have I ever gone back on my word? Now let me ask you something - everyone in our class says Rosendo is useless but when I talked to him earlier he didn't seem like what they described at all. He seemed smart and knew how to make girls happy. What's going on?" Cheryl asked curiously.

"I don't really understand either. I only found out this morning. But I heard that Rosendo beat up Richard yesterday and then ran away, not even daring to go to class. Today, Richard didn't show up for some reason, but Rosendo did and he was completely different. He was dressed neatly and walked like a person of high status. His hair was combed back and he looked handsome and energetic, much better than before. I think maybe he used to act crazy for some reason, but now he's come to his senses and is being himself again. Otherwise, how could he change so much all of a sudden?" Johanna analyzed.

"So you mean he's a very interesting person!" Cheryl pondered.

"I think so!" Johanna sat on the bench in the garden propping up her chin.

"Johanna, I saw you get angry when Rosendo kept complimenting me earlier. Do you like him for real?" Cheryl asked Johanna suspiciously.

"What are you talking about! How could I like such an arrogant person? Besides, even if I did, my family wouldn't approve," Johanna explained nervously as if she were afraid of being misunderstood by Cheryl.

Perhaps Rosendo was really attractive because the two school beauties - Johanna and Cheryl - spent the whole afternoon discussing him in the garden.

In the afternoon, Rosendo only had one class. He didn't want to listen to those old-fashioned teachers anymore, so he borrowed some books from the library and prepared to kill time during class.

Little did Rosendo know that at a certain school, a lovely girl was promoting his deeds to a group of youthful girls. This girl was Miranda, whom Rosendo tutored last night. "It's true! He's really handsome and plays the piano very well. If you don't believe me, come over to my house today and see for yourself. I guarantee you'll be infatuated with him," Miranda earnestly told her best friend.
