It was night at Quebec, and at 11pm Olivia had no more emergencies to attend to. What a day had it been for her, again, unlike her usual work days, that day was more strenuous. But she was thankful that nothing tragic happened in the hospital. At least, she was able to sustain the lives of the patients till further surgeries or treatment.
That night, she had decided to drive home, take a nice relaxing bath before she finally collided on her bed. She was going to sleep as quickly as she could because she had a doctor's appointment the next day and she needed all the strength she could gather so she would be able to withstand the meeting.
As she drove her Tesla Model X back home that night, she happened to drive along Trans-Taiga road as she had did that morning. Driving along the forested area, she was suddenly reminded of the shiny black stallion she had earlier come across. And then, instinctively, she slowed her car down, looking around the already dark forest, as her curiousity filled the atmosphere. Her main area of speculation was how fast the horse moved without even taking to its full speed. The black stallion only trotted along, it's hooves hit the ground like an earthquake, it was a graceful, adamant and hypnotizing move. And it seemed so hypnotizing that the first thing Olivia thought of doing when she met it was to jump on it and go for a Joy-ride, despite that she wasn't a horse rider.
As her curiosity still flowed at an infinite measure, she saw the horse again. At first, she assumed that it was the reflective light of the moon, but then she was tricked by her eyes. It was a stallion, the same one she had seen in the morning. As she pushed her Tesla to a stop, she noticed something else, it was like the shadow of a man on the horse. She stared straight at the shadow even it seemed to be looking back at her, but all she could see still was the dangerous looking shadow of a man. Was she the only one who was seeing this? Was she the only one who was using Trans-Taiga road? Or was she just under some kind of spell? Without further hesitation, she grabbed her phone and her kit bag and stepped out of her car. Somehow, she wasn't scared of this horse, neither the shadow that sat on it, for some reason, she began approaching the unusual picture, maybe to communicate with them. She inched slowly and slowly towards them...
Slowly... And... Slowly... Until..
She was only some few steps away when the shadow veered the horse and off they sped away. This time, Olivia decided that she wasn't just going to stand and watch them run off from her presence again. She strapped her kit bag and ran after them as long as her tired body could withstand. After running a few meters, she eventually lost sight of them. She was about to give up and go back when they appeared again, this time, they were a bit far away from her, but it wasn't so long till they began running again, through a direction where her eyes could capacitate. Then again, Olivia picked up her strength and ran after them, like a stalker. Normally, she would've turned back and pretend it wasn't any of her business, but this kind of seemed to be something she needed to attend to. She figured out that the horse rider was trying to call her attention to something. Either that or because she was she facing an injurious case of hypnosis.
As they went deeper and deeper into the woods, the rider suddenly came to a stop. Olivia scrunched and peered behind the rider and met an unbelievable sight. It was a somehow transparent but yet, very visible black hole, and it was so big, that a human could accidentally trample into it, leading them to some mystery place. Olivia looked back at the shadow, trying to discern what would happen next. And then, just immediately, the shadow rode the Stallion towards the hole, and with an unimaginable speed, they jumped into it.
Olivia gasped incidentally, oh no way, there was no way she was going to jump into that hole, rather than some needed help, she thought it could be a kind of trap. But, as curious as she was, she still moved towards the black hole to take a closer look, maybe there was some kind of hint she could've picked from. As she got closer to the hole, the first thing she did was to check the other side to see if the Stallion came running through, but she didn't see nothing, obviously that night, she seemed to be the only person in the woods. As her hunger to know increased by a manifold, she began drawing closer to the hole, asking herself why it was there and wondering where it had taken the rider and his stallion. Soon enough, she was already making physical contact with it, at first, she just felt it with the tip of her fingers but it felt like nothing, just an empty space. But then after a series of pretext, she threw her right hand deep into the hole, trying to clutch anything she could feel, but still, she felt nothing. She was still trying to move her hands around when she felt a grip on it, that of a very strong hand. Immediately, her heart began pounding at diverse tempos, she tried retrieving back her arm but no, it was caught tight. Then, like lightning, something or someone pulled her into the hole. Olivia screamed as this happened, but then she landed hard with her butt on the floor, the landing was so painful that she couldn't even scream anymore.
Even if she was going to yell, another thing would have kept her shut, the fact that she landed in some mystery place. The first thing she saw as she came through the hole was day, followed by some stern looking strangers with swords? As she sat on the floor, she noticed three men, wearing Hanboks and ropes tied to their hair, each of them had a sword and they all seemed to be dressing in uniform.
"Who are you guys? And Where am I?" She would've stood up to defend herself but the pain in her butt had no limitation.
None of them said anything, they just gave each other certain gestures and one of them left. Olivia kept looking around while whining in pain, she was trying to figure out where she was but it didn't seem like somewhere she had heard of before. Clearly, she was in another forest but this place was different, everything around here seemed to be reflecting of gold and it was also day there, asides that, it was just a normal forest. Her first guess was that she was transported to an entirely different country where swords and Hanboks were still being embraced, but little did she know.
Momentarily, the one who had left came back with a horse and a thick rope. They didn't waste time, they swiftly approached her and began tieing her up, then the men knotted the rope to the horse's neck and off they went, with her being pulled behind like a prisoner. The men seized her backpack and her cellphone, but she still had words.
"Let me go! I'm warning you, if you don't let me go, I'll call the cops on you!" But the men just ignored her, making Olivia wonder why they had never spoken.
They journeyed through places that was not looking normal to Olivia, she saw a small land mass, where separate people sold different commodities that she had never seen before, she recognized the traditional attires and almost everything partaining to clothing, but the rest seemed like alien stuff to her, most especially food she overheard them referring to as 'DELICACIES'
"Yuck!"
As they reached some beautiful golden penthouse which was her supposed destination, two old women were the first to approach her. They directed her through the big house that kept her marveled, there were different works of art in the house, some of which were golden sculptings of a dragon or a doodle knight, also dressed in golden armor. As a lady, Olivia was really skeptical about fashion and style and it seemed like she appreciated the beauty of this 'penthouse' so much that she almost forgot that she was a captive.
"Wow, I wonder how much a room costs here, it must cost a fortune." She wasn't wrong... At least. This house really was a fortune and she hadn't even seen the bit of it.
As she was led into a giant room, which was constructed to look like a cabin, she felt the need to escape. The two old women walked out of the room with a bow and locked the door shut, leaving her with a man with an unsheathe sword, also wearing a Hanbok. This man wasn't so different from the last three she had met, only that he had a kind of golden comb on his hair and also, his grip on his own sword was shaky. He seemed even more afraid than Olivia was but he refused to show it.
"Heal him." The man said with a calm tone.
Olivia was confused, "Heal.... Who?" She asked.
Suddenly, the man quickly raised his sword and aimed it at her, but he didn't attack her, the sword was just a inch away from Olivia's neck, though the man's hand was still shaking. Olivia gulped in fear, her heartbeat thumped faster and she also felt the need to stand up straight. "Who.. Who are y.. You?" She asked but was just ignored.
"Heal the king, Before I lose my patience."
