Dust and debris covered the surroundings.
I halted.
'Trap.'
My pursuers, the way they behaved, let me assume that this all was a trap, and the reason for all this was also not that plain. The crimes Allen Liquidator committed were enough for him to be executed.
But all chase, no bark.
'Allen Liquidator was living in the shadows for far too long for anyone to know his locations.'
Allen Liquidator, the second son of the Liquidator family, was an intelligent individual with an intuitive mind. For reasons unknown, he didn't remember his past clearly but lived in the shadows and dealt with everything in secrecy. He was also a prostitute to earn some extra cash and to gain pleasure, and in the beautiful world of prostitutes, he was known as the Violet Kink.
But he never let anyone know his real identity and was very strict and secretive.
'So did they know he was here?'
'Were they the ones who killed him, or did he really die due to excessive sex?'
'And if they wanted to capture me, they could have done it while Allen Liquidator was doing the deed.'
'Or one of the girls was the perpetrator.'
'But that doesn't explain how the hell so many well-coordinated individuals are pursuing me?'
'The duke, what the hell does he want?'
Questions.
Questions.
And questions were popping up in my head like popcorn.
And I needed answers.
The dust started to clear from the surrounding areas.
Hoooo!
I exhaled a deep breath.
I looked at the sky above my head.
The sun, as usual, was radiating across the sky, but it was different.
Different from the sun of the earth, this... this sun seemed a bit bluish.
"I hate them," I said it calmly.
"I hate all of them, Grandma." My calm voice reverberated again, but this time it had the ripples of upcoming chaos within it.
All her life, my grandma lived with a very extremist mindset, and that became the way of living for me too.
"If you like anything, then you like it, and if you don't, then there's no middle ground."
She always used to say this, and when I was a child, this didn't frighten me much, but it did when I was old enough to understand it.
If she hadn't liked me, she wouldn't have raised me.
That was shocking, but intelligible.
Some people live their lives according to their principles, and this is what defines them and makes them great.
My mind was calm, as if remembering those words was the tranquillizer to calm the chaos in my mind.
"Compromise isn't an option," I spoke to Sia.
"Oh, have you thought this through, master?" She emphasized.
Nod.
I nodded, and she didn't say anything.
If I had to take a guess, why?
Focous.
Determination.
My countenance was oozing focus and determination.
"If I don't like it, I don't; compromise isn't an option." I mumbled those words and looked ahead in the settling dust.
What kind of Kingdom was Felioria?
In this kingdom, the wealthy were steadily amassing more wealth, while the impoverished were facing increasing hardships as they struggled to make ends meet with each passing day.
And one of the individuals aggravating this was Duke, whose forbidden daughter was tasted by Allen Liquidator.
I was at the moment residing in his estate, so collecting more buildings and damaging more infrastructure would only lead to a harsh response from the duke, and I didn't know what sort of atrocities the duke would commit to these powerless residents who didn't have any say in any matter.
"Collecting more buildings and releasing them is out of the question."
Then there was only one choice left.
"Escape."
Seeking an escape from this place and taking a much-needed rest, using the time to carefully analyse the situation. My goal was to gain a deeper understanding of the kingdom, with particular emphasis on the estate and its influential duke.
It was evident that the duke's actions had played a significant role in altering Allen Liquidator's life, making it essential for me to uncover more information about him and his deeds.
But not before crushing these chasers of mine.
'Supreme Collector,' I commanded, and the three-dimensional model of the fifty metre radius sphere that originated with me as the centre was now active in my mind.
The dust settled down.
I looked ahead, where the individuals came to an abrupt halt, seeing me standing idly.
"Young master, your gift isn't pretty, you know." The creamy-pie seductive voice of the voluptuous woman reached my ears; she was the perpetrator of destroying that building, but there was not a single speck of dust on her, and she looked as curvy and clean as before.
As for men, they were practically invisible in front of her dynamic body.
All the individuals were levitating from the ground a bit due to their magnetic shoes.
'No worries; they won't even know what hit them.' I mused, and by the corner of my eyes, I saw some of the individuals showing some hand signs to each other, and they moved to the other side and encircled me in an arc.
"What do you want from me? If you want to capture me, then with the numbers you have on your side, you could have done it already." I tested the waters as I shouted. We were currently standing at a crossroad, and these individuals left two paths open for me, but the other two were where they stood in an arc.
Silence.
No one responded, and even though this crossroad would have been busy at this time of the day, it was oddly quiet.
"Haaaaaa!" I then heard an extremely disappointed sigh, and I turned towards the source.
It was her.
It was the voluptuous lady.
Though she stood approximately 15 meters away from me, it was not hard for me to discern her expression.
She had a lovely smile that charmed her beautiful face even more, but...
Vicious.
Extreme viciousness was oozing from her eyes, and our eyes locked, and my heart skipped a beat.
Well, why not?
She's damn gorgeous—more gorgeous than anyone I've ever seen.
