Sophie groaned and rolled over, pulling the covers over her head. "Five more minutes," she mumbled.
Lydia sighed in frustration but didn't have time to argue. She quickly gathered her clothes and rushed to the bathroom to get ready. The noise in the house seemed to grow louder, with their father's voice still booming in the background.
As Lydia hurriedly got dressed, she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and anxiety about the family trip. She loved spending time with her family, but the unexpected encounter with Jerry and Sophie's revelation last night still lingered in her mind.
Finally dressed and ready, Lydia emerged from the bathroom, only to find Sophie still struggling to get out of bed. Lydia rolled her eyes and yanked the covers off her sister.
