The room was silent, the wind's shallow whisper embraced the atmosphere, it was morning but it was tranquil and peaceful.
"Tell me, Ralia. What happened and why did they freak out about the things that I have done?"
Ralia looked at Arthas with a dumbfounded expression and facepalmed herself giving a mild confusion to Arthas.
They were both sitting down in a chair, the table in between them and they were opposite of each other. The rough edges were seen as the wooden furniture stood firmly.
[You killed thousands, proceeded to destroy the environment, burn down the plains, kill a fucking Leviathan and now you made two Kingdoms notice your presence. Both are wary of you and made a decade-long treaty just for the anomaly they experienced, once they know your intention, you are so dead.]
"No exception?" Arthas made a smile as he said it in a joking voice.
[No exce—You—ARGHH—You think there's an exception to this?!]
Ralia raged as she yelled at Arthas. From his perspective, it looked like Ralia had horns and flaming eyes as she continued to scold him for being carefree.
[Your dead meat, you bastard]
"Don't elves hate meat, vegetarian I assume?"
[All the more reason to have motivation and determination to kill you!]
Her eyes seemed to grow in flames in Arthas's perception.
"Alright, calm down. Why is the Dominion pissed at me? Calm yourself down, Ralia. Speak when you are ready"
[Tsk, fine] She breathed deeply before giving out half a minute-long exhalation, much more a sigh mixed in. [The Dominion is afraid that its identity would be revealed and our enemies in the shadows would be able to locate us through you. Another thing is the Amirites are slowly killing off villagers and some are destroyed, some have reached Solstice and Valoria.]
"Do you know how many are left?"
[I don't know you tell me, you're the one in charge of this]
"So why are you the one with me, or facilitating me?"
[Force to do so, hate to do so, no choice but to do so. That granny would kill me literally]
"Can't the Dominion just kill the remaining loose ends?"
[We cannot leave the area, Arthas. We all have secrets to hide, even you. Speaking of it, who in the Leah are you?]
"Leah? Who's that" Arthas heard a familiar name and unconciously asked while playing dumb.
[The Goddess and patron saint of the elves, the Goddess of Preservation. She helps maintain the balance of the world and nature itself]
"You shouldn't talk to with your God's name in vain you know, tsk tsk tsk"
'Though I myself is a hypocrite…hehehe…'
Arthas thought as he scolded himself alongside teasing Ralia who had a large bulging vein on her forehead.
[Just answer the freaking question already.]
Arthas thought about how to formulate an answer that wouldn't reveal everything but wouldn't lie either, there were so many things that he could tell her but refrained from doing so.
"I am just Arthas, nothing more than just Arthas. Maybe a bit cruel, rude, and narcissistic but other than that nothing special right? We sound the same don't you think?"
[Ah shut up, haven't you learned your lesson yet?]
She closed her eyes as she profusely tried to calm herself, clenching her hands and veins appearing on her pale forehead.
"I got, I got it. I won't cause trouble, I promise it, and if I can't keep it. Then I'll just live with it."
[You bastard,] She breathed a deep sigh, before continuing to speak [I'll accept that kind of bullshit for a while, but I don't know about the organization]
"Hey if I may ask, what's your role inside? Are you the messenger or the information department or something like that? Did the Dominion tell you to inform me that?"
Ralia straightened herself and regained her composure as she gently placed both her hands on the table.
She looked at him straight through the eyes with firm conviction before speaking.
[I am indeed part of the communications between champions and their sponsors. I help relay messages through the channels of the roots, sponsor to champion, and vice versa. To answer your second question. No, they didn't but Lady Thalia was the one who reached out and gave me the ability to do so.]
'Champions and sponsors? Then who's my sponsor?', Arthas thought that it was weird that he didn't get a sponsor and it was just now that he was told that there is such a mechanism inside the organization.
"If there are sponsors and champions, who is my sponsor?"
[In due time, you are still in probationary observation. When the time comes, you can choose. But for the meantime, your chaos includes evaluation of character and skill.]
"I see…"
[Arthas that's it for today, it seems people are coming here. There is one thing I would recommend to you.]
She was quick to end the conversation, it seemed that she was also in a rush trying to do so in a polite but rash manner.
"What is it" Arthas leaned in closer to Ralia trying to carefully hear what she would say.
[Never, ever use your borrowed magic once again, until you are ready and have the sufficient mana to do so. The assimilated mana within you will eat and kill you, be careful.]
Her eyes looked as serious as ever. She disappeared after saying what she meant to say.
Her appearance was that of a hologram from what Arthas could describe. He once again realized the privilege given by Thalia was powerful and allowed Ralia to communicate not just fluently but in a much better connection.
'Who is Thalia exactly? Is she a minor God under Leah or just a normal servant of Leah?'
The door opened slowly and a teenage girl with beautiful amethyst-colored hair entered, she was holding a basket containing fruits and vegetables.
Their eyes both met each other, Shuna was surprised by what she saw when she entered. Arthas was awake.
She had smooth pale skin and beautiful lustrous shining hair, that matched her pretty face. She was wearing a beautiful white sundress and a large straw hat.
"Arthas!! It's good to see you alive, I hope you don't mind the intrusion, I mean Good Morning. Oh wait, did you eat already? I brought you fruits, oh, did you just wake up? Hold on let me call the Chief but wait he isn't here, so I guess we should wait. Please do eat! We prepared it for you!" Shuna greeted him.
She was flustered and didn't expect to see Arthas awake. Fidgeting unable to say and know what to do first, erratic movements began to torment her body until Arthas finally spoke.
"Thank you for your concern, were you the one that was taking care of me?" Arthas stood up from the chair and grabbed an apple.
"No, it's my first visit. It's usually the Chief who would come to visit you, I'm the one caring for you today for the reason that he is handling business outside and that we are in need of money as well."
She explained while approaching the table and placing the basket in one swift movement that looked graceful.
As she was about to continue to speak, horses spoke as they came in numbers. Their neighs and shouts were heard and the sound of carts then began to be heard. To which Shuna reacted to the sound.
"Speaking of the Chief, it seems that he just arrived. Let's go meet him I'm sure he would be delighted to hear that you're finally up after all these days"
Shuna turned her back and quickly opened the door to which the morning light shined through the door. It was pure and attractive, bright and mesmerizing.
"Go first Shuna, I'll follow you in a bit, let me rest. Let me settle in. So yeah, take care and go first"
She adhered to his request and went first when the door closed. The first thing Arthas did was to look down, his eyes scrunched and worried about something.

He received the quest, it was a bountiful one but he knew that the reward was tantamount to its difficulty.
'That was spawned near the capital, doesn't that mean they already have the person? But no that would invalidate the whole quest then what's the real situation?'
There was another thing that caught his eye, it was another quest that he didn't know would result in a frightening one.

'???' His eyes widened as he saw the number decrease a lot, especially since he knew the power of the things that he fought. 'Mother—, what is this? Why did it go down exponentially? They killed all those with just their own forces?'
"If I remember correctly, Ralia said there are two other kingdoms that were affected. Solstice and Valoria, huh? I have to dig deeper about them"
He closed every notification of the system. He was motivated and determined to continue his journey, but he was still generally confused as to what to do.
But he knows that there are things he must do.
Breathing a deep sigh, he slowly approached the door. The floors creak with every heavy step he takes. The atmosphere felt tense, he understood the pressure and responsibility as strided proudly toward the closed door.
'Whatever happens, I need to be ready.'
He clenched his hands and opened the door. It slowly closed by itself as the light slowly faded inside the room.
A new journey embarks on a closed door.
