Chapter 15 - Red Dominions Circle

'I know it would be unreasonable to not give him something from this, it was an amazing feat that something I wouldn't be able to properly handle, though it was just luck. But I know that it is part of his skill' Aislan debated to himself as he thought of the possibilities of what he could do about it, however, it wasn't easy to actually do something about a reward for this kind of achievement.

Aislan thought carefully about what reward can he give to Arthas, everything that he did was phenomenal. It was something not everyone could do.

'A proper reward would be suitable to at least gain his trust, on the other if we give too much we might be on the losing end, and if we give less than satisfactory of his preference then it would end in a bad status as we send him off to Alcemia, What can I give him though?'

Without anything that would go inside his mind, he quickly went into telepathy. In this world, telepathy is basically just cellphones instead it goes directly straight into their mind, and will respond without quick delay unless something would interfere with the magical signatures, just like real signals from phones.

Just like real phones, signals, and other conveniences. There is group telepathy which is a version of a group chat on Earth, where multiple people are present and where they can share their private thoughts and comments about people. The only thing is that there is no such thing as a backread, and pictures aren't directly sent.

<[Hey Hayem, what do you think we should give him, I am afraid that we would give him something that would satisfy him]>

<[I don't know about you but anything would probably satisfy this guy… Wait for nevermind, if he is what I think he is, then I think you might need something flashy and expensive that would give him his efforts worth]>

<[That's the problem I do not know if something would actually satisfy him or what would actually satisfy him at all. It's so hard to give him something that I barely know anything about him]>

<[Didn't we recommend that you should take it slow and watch him for a while before we even decide what would actually satisfy him? Besides during our first meeting, it was such haste and we didn't even give him anything. We just left so I guess it's time you do something for the guy]>

<[Yaho~ Let me join in as well~, To be honest, I think it's better if we let him choose on his own, just teleport Arthas to that 'room' and I think it would be fine. Although it looks a bit scary it would possibly be okay, it is Arthas after all.]>

<[That may not be a bad idea Aislan, just take this girls advice and maybe it will solve the problem]>

<[...I'll see what I can do, but Lia how sure can you be that Arthas would be satisfied with just that?]>

<[...Just a hunch]>

With that, Aislan left the group telepathy session. He inwardly sighed to himself and thought about doing it, it was a dangerous thing to do but it was the only thing that would save him face and would not embarrass the others as well.

'Hmmm, What does she mean just a hunch? Are we men really that simple? Well, I guess we are a bit…complicated than ladies but I never really thought about it

Aislan drew up in his mind the formulated design of what he considers to be the stock room where everything that was found inside the Red Dominion was to be kept under maintenance, and careful handling. He quickly brought up the image-like figure of a pattern in his mind and infused himself with mana.

It was a quick process, this event happened in less than ten seconds, there were some delays in thought processing about his decision, nevertheless, the suggestion made by Lia was the most convincing out of all the ideas he had in his mind. He went back to his usual demeanor and looked straight.

"As much as I would say about it, the display of skill and power you have displayed deserves a reward. I know that it would seem to be unfair to not give you anything but the best that we can at least do for now is something simple, but I hope that this would be of help as you go into your journey"

A portal, emanating a vivid shade of purple, materialized following Aislan's mention of the reward. The swirling energy surrounding the portal exuded an ominous and foreboding aura, reminiscent of an entrance to an underground dungeon where peril and demise awaited.

As time elapsed, the portal's purple glow intensified, gradually shifting to a darker hue. With each passing second, the surrounding space twisted and distorted, evoking the image of a black hole, devouring the very fabric of space.

"Lia" Aislans sharp voice made him snap back to reality as he was deeply thought of what would happen next.

"Yes, Aislan I fixed the entire barrier, there won't be any more leakage from now on, and in case something of this caliber would happen again. I decided to improve the threshold in which it would hold magical influx such as explosions" Lia replied in a calm demeanor as she gave a report on what she was doing.

"Great Job" Aislan eyes glanced at Lia and quickly made their way back to Arthas. "So, Arthas. I think you have thought long enough about what you want to do right? Time waits for no one"

It took a couple of seconds before Arthas actually went inside the portal that he made. He was a bit anxious that maybe it was too terrifying for someone like him, he redesigned the portal at the last second to make it much more mysterious and alluring to any man that would encounter the portal.

"Pick something you like from inside and once you have left, it will bring you outside of this domain, and others won't be able to enter besides you."

'If you are a man that has the balls to do anything, this should be something that would excite you right? A sense of adventure and something new

Contrary to his mind, Arthas was scared about the portal and how it came to appear out of nowhere from his perspective. Arthas took a look at his surroundings one last time and carefully went inside the portal until all of his body passed through, once it was confirmed that he was inside, The portal subsided and became smaller as it continued to disintegrate by size and soon the space became empty as if nothing happened.

Aislan waved a deep sigh, "That was harder than I originally thought, I should've planned this much more carefully before I actually did any of this. Lia and Heyam, thank you for accompanying me and your suggestions that made things much easier."

"Yeah, you can count on us Aislan, just don't push yourself too much, you aren't that good with people after all," Hayem replied to Aislan's gratitude.

Heyam was relieved that Aislan was able to successfully do something on his own without actually stumbling that hard. Aislan was very incredible at battle, no one could possibly match up to him in a one-on-one fight, and even if all would fight Aislan, it would be a difficult time for both Aislan and them.

'The downside of Aislan is that he is naturally bad with people. He really likes to stay away from crowded places and likes to hang out somewhere not many people would stay.'

"No Problem Aislan, it was getting a bit stuffy fighting the Amirites all the time in Deep Zero, so it was a great change of pace. It was actually really nice that Arthas was able to take some of our work on his shoulders."

"Thank you very much you guys, Lia, Hayem"

"Apupupupup, Aislan, Please do stop calling me Lia. Arthas isn't here anymore although it sounds cute, I only gave you permission to use it only when Arthas is present."

"Ah, sorry. I guess I got too carried away. My bad, I didn't think that you would be that secretive about your identity though. It didn't really strike me that you would be the type of person like that" Aislan commented on her response.

"Yeah right, this bitch probably has some crush on him or something, is he really that cute and handsome that you would go for love at first sight? How pathetic." Hayem continued Aislans sentence to tacitly insult her.

"HA-HA, grow up Hayem, don't you know how to care for a lady's pure heart? Must be the fucking reason you are still a virgin"

Lia gave a snob attitude to Hayem as a counter to what he just said that made her irritated. Her eyes were filled with annoyance, and her contorted face says all the emotion that needed to be conveyed. She crossed her arms as she said this to Hayem.

"That's enough guys, the others need us in Deep Zero. It's better we finish today's wave early than do overtime work again."

"Yeah, I'm on it, boss" Hayem replied. "..." Lia stayed silent.

Aislan looked at her as he realized that she was still looking at the spot where the portal was made. "Lia? Oh sorry, didn't mean that…Are you still worried about Arthas?"

"..."

"Do you think that he would be alright inside? I think he would do great on the outside world, maybe next time we meet he would already have a lot of friends and possibly a special someone. He'll do great."

"Yeah…" Lia replied in a soft melancholic voice, "I don't want that though, please Arthas I don't want to lose you again…"

"Great, so don't worry about it. Let's focus on our problems for now. Let's go, Grand Mage Amelia"

With that last remark, they both went back to the desert in the heart of the Red Dominion where everything lay still, burning flames and the hot atmosphere ran rampant. The scars of a battle that ensued gravely marked its way onto the landscape and environment, occasionally Amelia would come here, hoping that he would see him again. Hoping to see her childhood friend, Arthas.

Meanwhile Arthas on the other side…

In the silent area where everything was full of dust and silence, comes through solid sounds of footsteps, running from something. It was full of anxiety and fear as it grew louder and louder and more steps came following the first step.

"What the fuck is this?! Why are there bitchass raptors chasing me??? Come Onnn!!"

He ran through the corridor as he was chased by skeletal raptors that numbered ten. As he enters a new mysterious journey, he would soon encounter new possibilities that would allow him to achieve his supposed goal.
