At first, Asher thought Ellette might be delusional, there couldn't be any wooden shipwrecks around the ship docks. After all, if there was, they would have seen it before when fighting Sahagin, but all they saw was a pile of large rocks arranged randomly and neatly as if forming a towering wall.
"Wait Ellette, but you don't remember wrong, do you?" Altemesia raised her eyebrows, a look of confusion on her face as she heard Ellette's words. "During the time I was here, I didn't see anything there."
"No, I'm sure. You probably didn't see it because the wreck was hidden behind a large stone wall." Her voice sounded firm, not a hint of doubt in her words.
"Hey, but how do we get past that stone wall? Remember, we don't have wings like you guys." Chronos furrowed his brow at Ellette's words.
"You can walk through the gaps around the stone wall. Don't worry, it's a one-person gap, so you should be able to pass through it one by one, which will lead you to the wreck itself. Ellette nodded her head. "Alright, I'll take you there, follow me." She quickly flapped her wings and left the room.
After a few minutes of walking, they finally arrived at the location Ellette had mentioned. A gust of cold wind instantly touched the surface of Asher's skin, making his body feel a trembling sensation as he stood between the gap between two large stone walls. It was strange to see that the gap he felt looked like a narrow passage and indeed could only fit one person just like Ellette said.
"Alright, I can only take you up here." Ellette nodded her head. "I don't want to meet that horrible creature." She shook her head, trying to forget what had happened to her.
"Wait, what if Sahagin shows up again and attacks you?" Persea furrowed her brows at Ellette's words. "'No, no, I can't leave you alone, Ellette. I will stay with you." Persea's voice sounded firm, there was no hesitation at all in her mind. "At the very least, I can protect you if that thing appears suddenly."
Asher slowly nodded his head. "Yes, I think that's the right idea. Let us finish off the creature."
"Take care, all of you." Persea waved her hand and chased after Ellette who flew off to who knows where.
"Okay now, who will cross this gap first?" Chronos stroked his chin, his shoulders looking tense for a moment. "Oh yeah, how about Altemesia first?"
Altemesia immediately rounded her eyes. "Huh? Wait, why do I have to go first?" She furrowed her brows, a look of annoyance briefly appearing on her face. "Hey, isn't it the man who should go first? Geez." She rolled her eyeballs, showing an annoyed attitude towards Chronos.
"That's true, but now we have to look at the situation. What if Sahagin shows up while we're in the middle of this pass? The two of us can't attack them, but your bullets can quickly kill them, Altemesia." Chronos held both of Altemesia's shoulders. "Chronos held both of Altemesia's shoulders, showing a serious look on his face. "You're the only one who can attack those creatures."
"Uh, Uh but ...." Her face slowly reddened, seeing the gaze of Chronos who stared at her continuously until it made her misbehave. "Alright, I'll give it a try." She took a deep breath before stepping into the gap. "Okay, I'm ready."
As Altemesia walked along the small gap, Chronos' face continued to blush with a strange smile of his own. Damn, it seemed like his perverted nature had returned. What's more, Chronos' eyes never left Altemesia's Spanish guitar-like body as she tried to pass through the stone walls flanking her body. Who knew what wild fantasies were in his mind, only he knew.
"Hey, I've arrived. Come quickly!" Altemesia shouted. "Gosh, you can't believe this. Come on, hurry up!"
"Alright, we'll catch up with you!" Asher answered Altemesia's shout and walked through the small path.
As he walked through the small gap, for some reason, Asher could feel his heart racing like a train every time he took a step. His chest also felt tight along with the cold sweat, making his palms wet as they touched the rough stone surface wall. Strange. This feeling always appeared when in a narrow space, who knows what exactly was going on, but he tried to ignore the feeling until he finally reached the side at the end of the gap.
"Oh my God, we finally made it out." Asher sighed, relief evident on his face. "Wait, that's ...."
Asher's eyeballs instantly widened as he saw a huge shipwreck in front of him. Honestly, at first, he was skeptical of Ellette's story about this, but after seeing the wreck with his own eyes, he now believed that Ellette's words were not wrong at all.
Judging from its shape, this ship did need some repairs to be able to be used again. There were also vines covering almost the entire surface of the hull, adding to the ancient and creepy feel of this shipwreck that looked perfect for Sahagin's lair.
"I feel like that big hole must be the entrance to the ship, Asher."Altemesia held up her index finger, her face tightening slightly at the sight of several Sahagin exiting through that hole. "But, we can't possibly go through there, right? If we try to go through that hole, it would be suicide," she sighed, a look of frustration on her face.
"Yes, you're right Altemesia." Asher nodded his head. "Look, there are more Sahagin on the loose than us. We can't act rashly." He paused for a moment, trying to remain calm. "Oh wait, what if we split up? Maybe by dividing the creature's power, it can at least be easier to defeat, right?"
Altemesia snapped her fingers. "That's a good idea, Asher. I can sneak in from there and directly attack the creature." Her finger pointed at one of the broken portholes. "Wait, but before I go there's something I want to do." He seemed to approach Chronos, with an annoyed look on his face. "Feel this perverted man!" Altemesia immediately stepped on Chronos' foot, slapping him hard on the head. "Hey, once again you look at me with your perverted gaze, I won't hesitate to shoot this bullet into your head!"
Then, he walked away, leaving Asher and Chronos grimacing in pain. Incredible. Somehow Altemesia knew if Chronos had seen her with his lascivious gaze, but her feminine instincts might have told her.
"Alright, now we have to think of our way in Chronos, but where?" Asher stroked, trying to think of a way out of this problem. "Oh, wait a minute. I know where to enter. "There was a happy look on his face, as he saw a large hole in the hull.
As they tried to walk slowly towards the gap, it wasn't long before there was a gunshot loud enough to make all the Sahagin around the wooden wreck rush towards the source of the sound. Great, now was the chance for the two of them to slip through the gap. However, as he gently leaned his face closer, he realized that there were glowing yellow eyes watching their movements inside the wooden wreck.
