Asher's face immediately tensed up as he listened to Chronos' words. He was speechless and his mind kept drifting, imagining the terrible things that would happen to him if they didn't find Altemesia soon.
"W-what should we do now?" Persea clasped her hands together tightly, trying to resist the shaking of her body. "Are we going to die?"
"Hey, stop talking nonsense like that. No one's going to die, okay?" Chronos rolled his eyes, showing his annoyance. "Shit. So Ash, what should we do now? Any ideas?"
"Maybe, we should check this place out, maybe we can find something about Altemesia's whereabouts."
Hearing Asher's idea, they finally decided to explore the place. A chill touched Asher's skin as he and the others walked around the place. Was it true what Persea said, perhaps Altemesia was already dead? Who knew, hopefully, it wasn't the case.
"Uh, Chronos, what's wrong?" A puzzled expression appeared on his face, as he saw Chronos pause, "What are you looking at?"
Without saying anything, Chronos pointed his index finger forward. "Hey, look at that. Something is lying on the ground. It looks like a gun. "He narrowed his eyes, trying to see more clearly. "Wait, I'll check it out first."
Asher's mind immediately froze when he saw the gun in Chronos' hand. Oh my, that was indeed Altemesia's. Strange, but where is she? She should be somewhere around here, but somehow, they didn't see her at all.
"Damn, I knew it," said Chronos, satisfied. "I'm sure something caught her, but what?"
As they took in their surroundings, Asher suddenly felt something strange. He could feel something slowly slithering at his feet, but what was it? Asher immediately shifted his gaze, looked down, and saw a vine slowly moving like a snake. At first, he thought it was just an ordinary vine and he tried to shake it off, but strangely, the vine was getting harder and harder wrapped around his leg.
"Argh, damn it. Why can't I let go at all." Asher grumbled. "Wait, I'll try it one more time." He immediately pulled on the root with all his might until his face turned red. "Argh. I can't get it off at all."
Chronos quickly turned his body around when he heard Asher's grumbling that sounded so loud in his ears. "Ash, why is this vine root stuck to your leg? Since when?" A curious expression appeared on Chronos' face.
"I don't know, Chronos." Asher sighed, a tense look on his face. "Now all I can think about is how to get this stupid vine off" Asher continued to pull on the vine with all his might, but to no avail.
However, when Chornos tried to help Asher, the vine quickly pulled on Asher, causing him to lose his balance and fall. His face hit the ground, causing his vision to blur so that he lost his sight for a moment.
"Asher!" Persea flew towards Asher, trying to lift him, but her body was too small to do so. "Quick Chronos, do something!" he said frantically.
Chronos quickly drew his sword, then swung it straight at the vines wrapped around Asher's legs perfectly. Good. His sword slash succeeded in releasing Asher's leg from the coil. He immediately released the coil and then hurried to wake up Asher who was still semi-conscious.
"Hey, buddy are you okay?" Chronos patted Asher's cheek repeatedly, trying to rouse Asher. "Come on, wake up, Ash." The frown on his forehead became more and more obvious on Chronos' face.
"Ch-Chronos?"
"Oh, my, it's a good thing you're awake, Ash." Chronos sighed, relief evident on his face. "Damn, I don't see that figure attacking you at all, but we have to be careful now. It looks like something is chasing us." The frown on Chronos' forehead became even more pronounced.
"Uh, guys, but it looks like that figure has already revealed itself." Persea's index finger pointed forward followed by the look on her face that stiffened again. "Oh, damn and it looks like he's not happy with us."
"Huh? Wait, what do you mean?" Asher slowly followed Persea's direction. "Oh my, what is that thing?"
Asher's eyeballs immediately widened when he saw the creature's appearance. The creature looked like the trees around them, with long roots that looked like a collection of small snakes supporting its body. Its eyes were a fiery red color, adding a sinister feel to the creature's appearance.
"Damn, it's a waste that I didn't notice this creature, it turned out that it got into the group of trees here." A look of annoyance crossed her face. "Persea, use your scanning ability so we can find out what this thing is." Chronos pointed his sword forward.
"Alright, I'll give it a try." Persea nodded her head quickly. "Scan!"

Mana: -
Earth Element
Weakness Physical attack.
"Wait, its weakness is only physical attacks. What happens if we use our magic power to defeat this thing?" Asher stroked his chin, a curious expression on his face.
"There are only two possibilities. Either your attacks do not affect this creature or you increase its blood." Persea said without hesitation. "So the only one who can attack this thing is Chronos."
"Come on, let's kill this fucking thing!" Chronos' eyes lit up, radiating a burning passion.
Without waiting long, Chronos lunged straight at Wodoo, dodging every attack that attempted to strike him. His grip seemed to tighten until he saw his sword emitting a bright light ready to slash through the creature's body.
"Feel this shitty thing! Double slash!"
The slash succeeded in paralyzing the creature until it fell to the ground and died instantly. Well done. It looked like he managed to defeat the strange creature and obtain some of the items they needed.

"Excellent attack, Chronos!" Persea spun around Chronos in excitement. "Uh, but wait a minute. I seem to see something not far from this creature's position." She furrowed her brows, trying to get a better look.
Without waiting long, they immediately followed Persea's directions until they finally managed to see it more clearly. Instantly Asher and Chronos were transfixed when they saw a yellow-haired woman lying weakly on the ground, who turned out to be Altemesia.
"Oh my, but... but why?" Persea's lips continued to tremble, her face turning pale. "What happened to her? Is she dead?" Her eyes widened at the sight of Altemesia's body covered in wounds
"Right now, we don't have time to ask that, Persea. We need to help Altemesia immediately." Asher slowly lifted Altemeisa's body, trying to get her out of this place.
However, just as they were about to walk away from this place, suddenly several Wodoo appeared in front of them, trying to block them. Oh no. It turned out that these creatures had deliberately tricked them into eating the bait. And unfortunately, they had already eaten the bait.
