Alex was dead asleep in his room. It had been almost a week since he's moved into the manor he had been working out every morning and gardening in the afternoon. He actually managed to clean up almost a quarter of the massive garden. None of his plants sprouted or anything. It was very lack luster however that was gardening. It didn't really happen fast.
As he was sleeping Bruce finally got done planning. He was ready to meet this human lie detector. He knew the questions he should ask. He was ready to see if this kid was really worth investing in. He full equiped his owl suit and utility belt. He used a lot of his gadgets in the last fight plus his suit was heavily damaged. He even made the mask stronger so it would break again. It was made of a elastic wiring of steel and titanium. It was very durable. He decided to sneak into the kids room. He actually loved doing this to people it was always the best to see them freak out.
"Wake up and get suited up Alex" a gravely voice said from the shadows.
Alex jumped out of bed at mach one right into his night stand. He crashed over it and sprawled on to the floor. He looked around the room seeing two white eyes staring at him from the darkness.
"That's not funny! Also oww" Alex angrily replied while rubbing his knee. He slowly got up and grabbed his super suit from the hidden closet department. He wasn't shown to the bat cave yet sadly. So he kept it there. He then walked into the bathroom and auto equipped it. his pajamas fell on to the floor in front of him and he was wearing his suit. He honestly forgot how comfortable it was.
"Alright I'm ready.... hello?" Alex said as he walked out of the bathroom. He looked around and didn't see Owlman anywhere.
"Good let's go" said Owlman as he dropped from the ceiling behind Alex. Once again scaring the poop out of him.
Alex jumped about three feet into the air. He was totally pissed off now. It wasn't funny to scare your teammates but he knew he wouldn't care. So he asked something else instead.
"Wait where are we going?"
"We are going to see your old friend from the orphanage."
"You're finally ready with your invasive questions huh. Also He's probably going to freak out meeting you so be ready for that. I have a feeling that he really likes you. Maybe he's your next Robin. Poor guy doesn't understand that your abusive. Beat me up every day then scare me in the middle of the night and your rich but you only give me 5 dollars as a allowance. You even fired me from Waylon enterprises."
" You know we already went over this. It isn't good to have you stick out when your part of the bat family. You can't be winning Nobel prize and awards. People will look into you and us by association. The last thing we need is more reporters snooping around. Should've seen it when Grazsin won that gymnastics contest. We couldn't go out for three months without being hounded. Also you only really need five dollars not like you go out much."
"Alright whatever you say boss man" Alex then followed after him. They ran over the wall in the back sneaking past some paparazzi who were hanging by the gate. After running through the woods for ten minutes he actually ran into the owl mobile. They both jumped in and took off. Alex decided it was time for revenge.
" Hey what does this button do? " he says as he reaches to push a big red button.
A hand flies out of nowhere and slaps away his.
"Don't touch my buttons"
"Ow there was no reason to hit me I was just messing around you big bully"
All he got in response was a glare.
Alex spent the next five minutes into the city watching it fly by. They soon arrived at the orphanage. It was pitch dark. Luckily Alex remembered what room Lucky sleeps in.
They both opened his window and kidnapped him out of it. They rushed across the street and into a abandoned building close by. After making sure no one was in it they woke him up.
"Hey wake up."
"Wha..wait who are you... Oh my God it you Owlman. Your like my hero you saved me so long ago that means you must be Sparrow...Wait who is he?"
"I'm the medic." Alex said imitating Bruce since he knew it upset him a little. And it did he got a glare.
"The medic wait your the new hero that lured Grundy away. You're awesome. I heard about you. "
Alex just shyly rubbed his head. "Aw stop it."
"We are here for serious business. We heard about you meta Powers. I want to use it to see if I can trust him."
"Oh okay but can I ask you for help in return. I have a friend named Alex he disappeared a couple nights ago and I'm worried about him. He worked at Waylon enterprises and lived at the orphanage with me. Can you help me find him."
Alex looked at him in surprise he didn't think about what they would think of him. " Don't worry we'll try to find and help him."
"Alright but my powers only work for four minutes at a time. Then I'll need help back to my bed."

"Did you lie about any of the questions I asked when you were under the truth serum."

"Have you ever killed or hurt innocent people on purpose."

"Do you have any Ill intent towards me or Sparrow."

"Did you lie about any of your powers"
"Yes but I can't use them so it's not necessary to know about them"

" Amnesia spray so he won't remember us in the morning it blocks out everything he saw in the last hour. At worst he'll think it was a dream."
