Alex was listening in on the conversation between the two. He knew what Fox meant by the special materials. That was stuff meant for Batman's arsenal. "Mr Hen , Mr Waylon did I get the job?"
"What oh yes. Your invention came in real handy today. You are officially hired to be Mr. Hen's apprentice. I expect to see you here every week day by 9 and work tell 5. Your starting salary will be 2,500 a week before taxes. I also expect you to help Mr.Hen in his research and development. He has the right to fire you at anytime if you don't live up to our expectations."
"You can count on me sir. I'll do my best to help out anyway I can. I'm sure someone will find your missing technology too. I wouldn't be surprised if Owlman himself helped out."
After that they talked a little more and waited for the police to show up. Then even asked about how we apprehend the suspect's. Bruce introduce my invention and even said they would think about mass production for law enforcement. Alex was happy to hear that because he would get a royalty charge for it. Money was always useful. Especially in this universe. I mean any billionaire could become super hero or villain if they spent enough money. Lex Lexington, Owlman, Archer. There was more but he couldn't think of them at the moment.
It was already late at night. He had to give his statement to the police and was told to head home. He hurried back to orphanage. First he made sure Lucky got home safe since he was also at work today. He was actually sitting in the cafeteria with the squad. So Alex decided to hangout with them for two hours doing some weight training and running around the roof. After all the guys complained about their sore muscle they decided to call it a night. Alex head back to his room. It was actually already 10pm. So he suited up and decided to go take a look for the missing technology. Maybe he would be able to find something cool in it. If he found a better material for his batons he would commander it. It wasn't stealing it was finders keepers. He would return everything else though. He was a little corrupt but he wasn't completely evil.

Alex then decided to never steal. He would just ask for it instead. Owlman was a reasonable person after all. He definitely didn't want to die. He auto equipped his super suit. He then hurried out the fire escape and into the night.

Owlman and Sparrow were in the Owl cave. They were looking over the cities security cameras. They were tracking the truck that left Waylon Enterprises with the stolen technology. They managed to trace it to a underground tunnel however they didn't know where it went afterwards. They actually entered the abandoned sewer system. Owlman and Sparrow got into the Owl Mobile and took off to investigate.

Alex was roaming around looking for clues. He was thinking about the people in Gamma that would have motive to steal from Waylon Enterprises. The first ones he thought of was the Mafia. He decided to go to the Falcon territory. He saw some minor crime however he was on a mission tonight so he avoid them. It was mostly empty robberies or vandalism.
However he didn't find anything not even a peep of actual big crime. He roamed around for about two hours in Falcon territory. He was actually leaving when he heard and saw a massive explosion. It look like it came from near where the orphanage was located. He started to rush that way.
As he got closer he noticed the fire and smoke was off about 4 blocks from the orphanage. It actually came from a place Lucky earlier pointed out to him. The old sewer tunnels. He actually arrived around the same time the police did. They had about six squad cars surrounding the entrance. He was standing above them on a roof looking down. He couldn't see much that was happening in the tunnel. There was too much smoke and flames rushing out. However he saw two black shadows rushing out. They were being chased by three much bigger shadows. He actually looked closer and noticed the first two were Owlman and Sparrow. Sparrow looked much worse for the wear. Owlman looked okay other then one of his arms was hanging loosely from his shoulder. It was kinda swinging in the wind. Owlman was looking towards the Other three shadows. Alex then looked over at them. He was instantly shocked. One was Insane Lizard a giant nine feet tall. He had to weigh over a ton. You could actually see the ground crack and break under his feet. The other was a another giant of a man. He was more human then Insane Lizard.
Alex was actually more afraid of this one then Liz . It was a zombie of a a man Sull Crosby. He was a man that could actually go hand to hand with superbman.
The third was a shorter man then Insane Lizard and Sull . He was still large by human standards standing at least six foot five. He was very muscler and Alex actually kinda recognized his body shape from the video of the robbery. He was the man that easily lifted the shipments. He knew Owlman and Sparrow were in trouble. They actually started fighting while he was examining them.
Sull was attacking whoever got close. Alex could easily tell he wasn't really on anyone side. His peace and quiet was probably just disturbed and he was upset. He swung his giant hands around knocking over pillars and cop cars. He even managed to land a hit on Lizard. Sull seemed to be moving towards the outside of police encirclement. Alex decided he should deal with him first.
