Alex woke up at 6 in the morning. As he was working out he actually earned one stat points in Strength, agility, and dexterity. This also reminded him of the four stat points from rescuing Sparrow he add one to strength and agility. He also add the last two into intelligence since it was his lowest stat.
{ Status- Alexander Cartwright

Agility - 13
Dexterity - 13
intelligence -12
Wisdom -10
Endurance -15}
It was nice to know he could earn points outside of mission. It gave him even more of a reason to work out. He finished his work out two hours later. When he heard people finally waking up and moving about. He grabbed his towel that the orphanage gave him with the room and hit the showers. He realized he needed to get a job today so he could buy more clothes. He only had his super suit and the clothes he came to this universe in. He was also broke. He got dressed in his semi dirt cloths. After making sure his hair was comb he went and knock on Lucky's door on the first floor. Curiously his room number was 7 known to be a lucky number. As he knocked he heard two bangs like a chair and someone on it falling over.
"One minute I'll be right out" came a pitiful voice came out of the room. About 3 minutes later Lucky emerged. His clothes were ruffled and his hair was a mess. He also had a red lump on his head. Alex stifled a laugh " Soo you ready to go to your new job pfft" He couldn't help but laugh because Lucky started to rub his bump. Lucky shot Alex a semi-menacing glare. Alex held up his hand in apology " I'm sorry I couldn't help myself" he said with a shit eating grin. " Let's grab some breakfast on the go" They walked over to the cafeteria and grabbed two apple a piece. As they were walking out they saw Theo. He was walking at the forefront of group of lackeys. You could actually see some fawning over him. Alex heard one of them say
" I can't believe you're brave enough to stand up to those freaks."
It made Alex want to laugh and punch him in the kidneys again. He just kept walking though. He knew it wasn't worth the trouble. Luckily Theo also scared of getting hit again so he avoid him. Lucky and Alex walked out the door and into the street. Alex also realized that Lucky was very bubbly. He pointed at everything around and told Alex about them. " That over there is Bob he's homeless but he used to run a tailoring service. Over there is the Gamma's transit system but I stay away if you don't want robbed. That there is the Gamma's docks. Some people say no good people there but I think they are all rather nice. It just kept going as we were walking to. He would point it out the wait for Alex to look over before explaining.
If he didn't look he start pulling on his shirt tell he did. Alex was a little appreciative since he did need to learn where stuff was. So he kept watching and looking. " That's the Gamma bank. It gets robbed at least once every 3 months. There's also the gold depository about 4 blocks that way. It also gets robbed often. Oh oh look here's the building Bruce Waylon throws all his galas and balls. I always wanted to see one in person. However they are usually Charity ones and I have no money. Over there is Gamma palace theater. That's an old acid warehouse so be careful of that. Oh that smaller island over there is Gam Corporate. I stay away from there horrible work conditions and abuse. They pay off the cops so you can't even report them. They also have a huge team of lawyers. So if you get on their bad side they'll bury you under legality. They also have ties to the mob so be careful if you get on their bad side. Theo is actually a close friend of Gam Corps young master.
That's why I'm telling you all this. You gotta watch your back. When school starts again in September you'll be in trouble. Alex ignored the warning he wasn't about to go enroll into highschool again. He had enough of that the first time. He didn't tell Lucky that though. He didn't want to answer multiple questions he would ask. So he just nodded and said. " Don't worry about me"
Lucky beamed him a flashing smile. "Even if they did come I'll have your back. I'm scrappy" he then growled like a dog. Alex put him in a headlock and rubbed his head. They continued to horse around on the way. They got outside of one of the tallest buildings in Gamma. It was actually one of the tallest buildings Alex had ever seen. It was a architectural master piece. Alex actually wonder how the managed to make it so tall but at the same time it looked like a modern castle.
He walked in and felt the refreshing air of the AC. As he walked in he entered a lobby that was half walled in. They had two doors leading farther into the lobby. It seemed like you had to talk to the receptionist if you wanted to go past the doors. There was a couple of guards standing around and two receptionists. The guards looked bored. Alex was pretty sure he heard one of the receptionists playing candy crush.
Lucky rushed up to one of them. "Hey Margaret I'm here for my first day!" Lucky said in a little booming voice that echoed in the lobby. The women Margaret looked up at Lucky. She was a stunner. She had pure blonde hair and Hazel eyes. Straight white teeth with a beautiful smile. And smiling is what she was doing when looking at Lucky's bouncing around infront of her. "I don't think I've ever seen someone happier to be a janitor then you Lucky" she said in a smoothing voice. Alex instantly realized why she was chosen to be a receptionist. She was definitely eye candy.
What Alex would be surprised to know was this woman was actually a commutation expert. She was also a taekwondo black belt. She was hired by Bruce himself and was actually the Human resources Leader. She just liked to hangout at the receptionist to meet the employee in the morning.
"I just want to earn that money Miss Margaret" Lucky replied.
"Alright Let me call for Mr. Johnson to come down. He'll be the one that will walk you through your first day alright buddy." She then grabbed her phone hit three number and made a call. She talked on the phone for a minute and hung up. " Alright go ahead and wait by the door on the left he's on his way down here." Lucky hopped over to the left door and stood there bouncing from one foot to the other.
