After all, it was the place where the portal from the Hexford Estate (in the Royal Capital) was connected to. Since the portal in the Hexford Estate was a secret, the other side of the portal in the Hexford Castle was naturally kept a secret as well.
Hence, only two people showed up to welcome them.
