Diether knitted his eyebrows while looking at his wife and his parents.
He received a message from the king informing him that the Royal High Mages had sent his family to the Lake.
Since the Lake was a secret spot in the territory, only Diether went there to fetch his family.
But he didn't expect the sight that greeted him.
"Sonata, why are you holding my parents' hands as if you're afraid they're going to run away?" Diether asked, confused. "What happened?"
"Mother and Father are having a lovers' spat," Sonata said, sighing while shaking her head. "I'm holding their hands so they won't accidentally strangle each other."
His parents didn't deny the fact that they were fighting.
[But why…?]
"Sonata was exaggerating," his father said, letting out a frustrated sigh. "It's true that your mother and I are having an argument, but I have no intention of hurting her physically."
