"I left as per their request with nowhere to go, they watched me stand by their gate in the pouring rain. I was 13 years old; Aunt Lisa saw me when she came back from work, and she offered me a place live until I at least finish school. I continued to go to school, she really took care of me; she paid my school fees, for my books and uniform and I didn't care for new clothes. I would see Damien and Lisbeth daily and Damien made my life at school hard, but I refused to engage and did my best to avoid them. Aunt Lisa tried to look for my mother's family, but nothing ever came to; I swore I'd look for them when I turned 18.
