Relic Reign: The Archive of Kings

“Inherit the relic. Rewrite the rules. Reign or be erased.” Once every century, the Archive awakens—a tower that pierces the sky, filled with shifting dungeons and forgotten relics left behind by ancient kings, tyrants, and warlords. These relics are not just weapons. They're legacies—powerful, sentient, and cursed by memory. To enter the Archive is to be chosen as a Writ-Bearer, someone capable of bonding with relics and wielding their power. For most, it's a path to fame, glory, and power. But for Kael Renn, a seventeen-year-old orphaned scribe from the outer slums, it's a death sentence. He was never supposed to be chosen. Yet, when a sealed relic buried in the tower’s forbidden floor calls to him—a relic known only as The Crown of the Nameless King—Kael becomes the first bearer of a Lost Writ that even the Archive itself cannot classify. Now hunted by relic guilds, kingspawn, and corrupted Writ-Bearers, Kael must survive deadly trials, manipulate ancient laws, and resist the growing voice of the relic within him. Because the Crown is remembering who it was. And it wants its throne back. MC: Kael Renn Age: 17 Background: Orphaned slum-born scribe, worked as a record keeper and relic cataloger in the outer zones. Never trained, never ranked. Visual Design: Hair: Ash-black, ragged at the ends, slightly covering his left eye Eyes: Pale gold—seem dull at first, but glow faintly when he invokes Writs Markings: Black ink-like veins spread from the back of his neck downward when relic power activates Clothing: Faded cloak stitched with old kingdom scripts, layered with relic sigils he draws himself Weapon: None at first—uses Writ-based combat, then later reforges an ancient relic blade with a forgotten command

don't read this lll

You find yourself before a shrouded figure standing behind a table. On the table are manypotions, choose as many as you want or none. The choice is yours. In addition pick additionalCYOAs or none to add on to this if you want some adventure. Each one infuses you with a variety of effects which cannot be taken from you unless youwillingly allow it.Note: exact effects in different ones such as perfect memory, intelligence, etc. do not stack.[fanwanking helps] Optional FeaturesEssence META is designed with the assumption that there is one player that is the ‘self insert.’There are of course other ways of playing but if you just want a few more options orsuggestions. Feel free to do your own thing if none of these appeal to you. Not like I can stopyou.OC Doughnut SteelYou are not the star of the show, it is in fact some other poor schmuck or perhaps someone whodances to your tune. You are free to design this new person however you like with whateverhistory, background, occupation and whatever else as long as they are not significantlysupernatural. You may use another CYOA before Essences are applied to facilitate thisprocess.ITS YA BOI NARUTOIt is not your self insert or an OC but an existing fictional character that receives their essenceseither by those you selected or them being presented the options as if they were playing theCYOA itself.Mexican StandoffEither as a Self Insert or OC Doughnut Steel option but you are not the only entity withEssences. There are in fact multiple Essence holders with a variable level of strength. Thestrongest Essences are barred from use from anyone as the cosmic energies would probablyreduce existence back to null, that wouldn’t be fun for anyone.Oh God Its Another OneYou have friends! You and at least one more person have access to the Essence

Game Design : Step one, heal the players

*Note: I am not the author, merely a humble translator. Crab OG author : 喝一杯红酒 OG title : 游戏制作:从治愈玩家开始 Chen Xu travelled to a parallel world and was surprised to find that many classic and excellent games from his previous life were missing. I had a plan, but why did I get an 'emotion collection system', and the emotions such as happiness, sadness, excitement, fear, anger and other emotions provided by players who have played the games I made can make me stronger? But why is it so much easier to get anger than happiness? Looking at his score, Chen Xu expressed his confusion. As a result, Chen Xu's career as a game designer gradually took a turn for the worse. In Undertale, countless players pounded the table and screamed: I was cheated by this game! In Outlast, countless players screamed, my cabinet moved and I stopped playing. In Dark Souls, when countless players entered the game smiling, "Go away, please go away, leave the Firekeeper behind and go out with your flame, we don't want to link the fire! Soap, Alex and Ghost were sacrificed in Call of Duty; Zack and Aerith were killed in Final Fantasy 7; Arthur and John were betrayed in Red Dead Redemption; Countless players went berserk: "You bastards! Can't we be kinder to the protagonists? Q: How do you feel about the players' anger towards you? Facing the reporter's question, Chen Xu smiled slightly: This isn’t criticism, this is encouragement from players around the world to me, this is love! Thank you all, I will keep up the good work!
