Chapter 26 - Oh, we're going with first names..

Upon arrival at home, Madam Palmer woke Ella and Alice up and they alighted from the car. The two girls greeted Patriarch Palmer who sat in the lounge seemingly watching television and continued to their rooms to sleep. Madam Palmer could see that something wasn't right with her husband, he appeared hopeless, in fact the last time she remembered this look of hopelessness on his face was when they first met, he was 17 years old, and she was just 14 years of age. She decided to start in the kitchen to brew her husband chamomile tea and cut up some fruit for supper.
