Hazuna walked upto Ichiraku ramen, sitting down and giving her usual order when another member of team 7 sat down next to her.
"Yo, Hazuna sensei!", she turned to see Naruto.
Hazuna : Oh my god, sensei sounds so old. What's up, Naruto?
She asked.
Naruto : You are Sasuke's nee chan?
He questioned curiously.
Hazuna : I mean, sort of yeah.
Naruto : I don't like him.
He said, taking a bite of his ramen.
Naruto : I will surpass him one day, and become Hokage!
She nodded, amused.
Hazuna : Why do you want to become the Hokage?
Naruto : Well..
He looked down a little sadly.
Naruto : Maybe then I will finally get everyone to acknowledge me.
She clapped a hand on his back.
Hazuna : You will do well, I am sure.
His face lit up, and he gave a smile.
Naruto : Thank you, Hazuna sensei!
She smiled back in return. "Wow, this kid really has no one, huh?", she thought to herself. "Maybe I have it easier."
"Hazuna? Hokage sama has called you and Naruto.", a voice from behind her said.
Hazuna : Okay, I will be there.
She showed up at the office to find team 7 there, along with the team 10. They consisted of Asuma and the new Ino-Shika-Cho trio. She waved towards them coolly, walking into the room.
Hazuna : Yes, lord third?
She asked.
Hiruzen Sarutobi : Hazuna, I am appointing you as Kakashi's deputy for team 7.
She nodded, smiling a bit.
Hazuna : Thank you.
Naruto : Yesssssss, Hazuna senseiiiiii!
He jumped.
Hiruzen Sarutobi : Anyways..
He interrupted them.
Hiruzen Sarutobi : You are to go on a mission with team 10. It's a C-rank mission.
Naruto : FINALLY A GOOD MISSION!
He exclaimed.
Sasuke : At least hear what the mission is first.
He said quietly.
Hiruzen Sarutobi : Is anyone going to let me talk?
Hiruzen sighed, making everyone pay attention to him.
Hiruzen Sarutobi : A group of merchants are transporting numerous carts of gold to the village hidden in the stars. The village leader, Hoshikage, doesn't have enough shinobi to guard the merchants and has turned to us for assistance. I am sending team 7 and team 10 on a mission to guard this fleet and make sure it gets to the village safely. You all have to be at the gold mine two days from now.
Everyone synced 'Hai!' before leaving the room, agreeing to meet at the village entrance in about an hour.
Hazuna went to her apartment, wearing her waist pouch and the gloves Kakashi had bought her as a gift for her promotion to jonin. Then she tied her leaf headband around her arm.
Hazuna : Come on, Sasuke.
She said to the other Uchiha, who nodded.
He had become very quiet since the massacre. Didn't talk much, not even to Hazuna, who was practically the only one who looked after him. He spent a lot of his time training. Probably the only thing he actually was vocal about was that he would one day kill his older brother. He didn't even say it like it was a dream. More like it was something inevitable, something he would pass any limit to get to.
Hazuna's words had no particular influence on him. And it was because Itachi had made sure of it when he left the village, telling Sasuke to hate him, resent him and let the hatred make him grow stronger. All she could do was try her best to not let him get pulled in by the darkness.
They walked to the village entrance to meet with the rest of the team for the mission. Soon everyone had gathered and the only person left to arrive was Kakashi.
Asuma : Where is Kakashi?
He asked to the rest of the team members.
Hazuna : Late again.
Hazuna shook her head in disappointment.
Hazuna : I will go get him.
She ran to his house, knocking furiously on his door. He opened the door, not looking up for a second, engrossed in reading his book.
Hazuna : KAKASHI SENSEI!
She brought him back from the 'Make out paradise' that he was in. He jumped at the noise.
Kakashi : Oh, it's just you.
Hazuna : Have you seen the time?
She asked.
Kakashi : Oh, OH shi-
Hazuna : Be ready in two minutes or I am gonna tell you what happens at the end of the book.
Kakashi : WHY DO YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE BOOK?!
He ran back in, getting ready hurriedly while she smirked.
Hazuna : That's for me to know and for you to find out.
Kakashi blushed again, hiding his face even more as he walked out of his house. They were back at the village entrance in a flash.
Asuma : Wow, Hazuna really has a talent.
He remarked.
The team set off for their destination, deciding on the distance they were gonna cover for the day before stopping at an inn.
Sakura : Are we gonna stop at the one with hot springs?
Ino : Please say yes.
Sakura and ino asked.
Kakashi : Okay, yes..?
Kakashi said, kind of confused.
They cheered in response.
A few hours later they arrived at the inn. Incidentally, it had hot springs which were co-ed. Everyone headed straight there.
Hazuna : Thank god Jiraiya sama isn't here.
She remarked.
Kakashi chuckled, taking off his shirt but leaving his mask on.
Hazuna had always wondered what lay under the mask, but had literally never asked him about it. Well, some other time.
He walked out into the hot springs, and she found herself looking at extremely toned back muscles and arms.
"Damn, he is hot.", she thought to herself before realising what she had just thought. "DID I JUST SAY HOT?! I THINK HE IS HOT?!?!?!?!", she discarded the thought.
Hazuna walked out in a towel, getting into the water near the copy ninja, who was trying desperately not to stare. Kakashi had never been more grateful for his mask.
Hazuna : Ah, this feels goooood.
She remarked, feeling comfortable and warm under the heated water.
Kakashi : For sure.
One of the staff brought them a tray of juices, she handed a glass to each of them except Kakashi, he refused the drink. "Maybe because he got to take off his mask? Well, whatever.", Hazuna thought.
Staff : Enjoy!
Hazuna : Can I get a glass of water?
Staff : Sure, ma'am.
Naruto suddenly spotted Hazuna on the other end and approached her.
Naruto : Hey, Hazuna sensei!
She was alerted at the sudden voice and gazed towards the yellow haired boy.
Hazuna : Yo, Naruto.
Naruto : Have you been to hot springs before?
He asked, curiously.
Hazuna : Yeah, quite a few times. Right, Kakashi sensei?
Kakashi : Y-yeah!
The copy ninja hesitantly said, trying desperately hard not to look at her weirdly and creep her off.
Naruto : Oh, you both must be REALLY close since you both seem to go in hot springs together every now and then?
Hazuna : You could say that, maybe..
Naruto nodded and turned back, facing Shikamaru on the other side. He sat beside Hazuna and relaxed.
The staff got back and handed a glass of water to Hazuna. Hazuna gladly accepted the glass of water and bid her thanks to her. She took a sip of water.
Naruto turned to Hazuna again.
Naruto : Why aren't you guys dating yet?
The question made Hazuna suddenly spit the water she took in her mouth all over Kakashi's face. Kakashi froze right in his spot, trying to process what just happened.
Hazuna : Oh my god, I am so sorry.
Kakashi looked at Hazuna, shocked. Hazuna looked at him back with a apologetic look. She slightly did a closed eye smile, shaking her hands in air. Kakashi just sighed. Naruto and the others bursted into laughter.
After the team had a nice and warm bath, they met at the dining table. They saw the table full of delicious foods making all of them drool at the sight.
Naruto : I can't wait to eat, those look so good!
They all nodded in agreement and sat down on their chairs.
They all synched 'Itadakimasu!' and of course, Naruto took the first bite. Naruto's eyes sparkled in joy.
Naruto : This is so delicious!
His voice muffled, probably because of the food he had in his mouth. They all started munching on their foods.

[ After dinner ]
Naruto : I am so full!
He said, patting his stomach.
Hazuna : Everyone go to your bed, we must leave early tomorrow. I want you all to be energetic tomorrow on the mission.
Everyone synched 'Hai..' lazily.
Naruto burped making them all laugh.
Everyone got to their beds and drifted to sleep.
