Elijah slowly observed the plate of food it had: one medium rare steak, one rib, and some potatoes on the side. "Do you know the three ancient languages ?" Elijah was stunned at the question "No, I only know the language we speak nothing more." She glanced at him then sighed "It would have been so much easier if you knew those languages" she said simply, (..the journal said that i will have a teacher soon, they know about the different languages ….i could go there later in the morning, its already too late out ).
He looked at Selina and then asked, "Why did you ask if I knew the ancient languages?" Selina was across the couch from Elijah, and answered "You need to know these languages to earn an oath." Elijah stopped stuffing his face with food once he heard Selina then said, "I may not know them but I have organized a class to help me learn them. I was planning on visiting today, but you know that happened..".
The silence in the room was great; after a few minutes of silence Selina opened her mouth to speak "Your meeting with Daly will be soon right?" Elijah nodded his head and then asked "Daly?, Bargi calls her Delay.." Selina burst out in a fit of laughter then added while she held her stomach "Delay is a nickname he gives her, I thought you would figure it out with that weird name" Elijah's face blushed red (I guess like this is a punch in the chest for not caring about any of them, this also means that if I'm not focused I could miss big clues to get home) Elijah replied in a shakey voice "I wasnt -I…Ahh!" Elijah screamed in frustration he could not get his point across even though there were none, to begin with
The two spent the rest of the night talking by the time they realized it was late it was 5:06 am, "This was fun; we should do this more" Selina said, Her cheeks were flushed red from all the laughing, her hair was also a mess, Elijah had walked out the door a few minutes ago, during the night Selina gave him a change of clothes "why do you have male clothes?" Elijah inquired, but there was no reply from her She gave him a blue short-sleeved shirt with a pair of overalls and clean pants.

Elijah walked through the Long hallways. They were enlightened by the rising sun; Elijah raced to his room and then curled into his bed. He slept for the next two hours; it was now 7:00 a.m., and he crawled out of bed he went out of his room in search of a washroom he found one at the end of the hallway, there was a long line. The line lasted a few minutes, After Elijah was finished he went to Selina; she wore a tall peach dress adorned with fancy jewels Her tall black hair was in a bun and she had dark eye shadow applied on "Who are you dressing up for?" Elijah asked as he knocked on her room door. It was open.
she replied playfully" I'm dressing up to go visit your girlfriend…oh wait there's no such thing." She smirked, "Wow, did you have to go that low?" The other night, the two spent the entire time talking to each other about various things Elijah had to improvise, "Anyway, why are you here ?" Elijah paused for a few seconds,(how is she dressed so elegant, yet her act is so rude?) he thought to himself "Last night you said that if I was hungry, I could come over since I couldn't buy any ingredients the other day" Selina looked back into her room then closed the door after a few seconds she was back with a plate of food it had sliced up the chicken with some soup on the side in a separate bowl it was covered with a lie "enjoy, i won't be back for a while" she closed the door to her room then left.
Elijah walked back to his room and then ate the food. The soup had vegetables and some small slices of different meats, and once he tasted it, it felt like the meat was melting in his mouth After he finished he placed the dishes in the sink, took a few minutes to himself read the journal then placed on the amulet he had found in his old apartment he also 200 pounds with him.
He walked down the streets there was no circus like last time "Guess like yesterday was the last day" After a few minutes of walking he reached south Bullarvide Street he walked a few more blocks and then saw a store it was named 'Teachings of the south' the name was unusual, but Elijah walked in he didn't want to stay outside any longer he wanted to sit down, he had walked the entire way when he realized that he could have just taken a horse-drawn carriage here,(My legs..).
"..Sir?" Elijah snapped out of his daze (how the hell did he meet this guy). Elijah sprang to his feet, dusted off his clothes, then answered, "Don't you know me?" The man stared at him and then answered, "Oh yeah, it's you... I almost forgot," The man said with a relaxed tone. "You forgot?" The man clapped his hands "Let's not focus on that. You do wanna learn these languages, right?" the man said, Elijah sighed then answered, "Yes, what do I call you?" The man took a few seconds to answer as if thinking, he answered, "You may address me as Leopold, no nick-names" Leopold went to the back and gathered three books; he came out the front then gave the books to Elijah, "am I supposed to read all of these on my own?" Leopold gave Elijah a smirk and then added, "No, I will teach you the basics. Then we read this book together. After you get the hang of it, you can study on your own, understand?" inquired Leopold. Elijah nodded, "Then let's get started." Leopold and Elijah walked to one of the tables, and they spread out the books, Leopold took one of the books and then asked Elijah, "Are you some sort of monster that took over Elijah's body?" Elijah was stunned at the question, "No,..i dont think I am, I do not have any memory of my old world, all I remember are basic concepts such as how the human body works, I also know some curse words," Leopold nodded then, opened the book and turned to a page "we will start with the simplest one the Umbrai language it came in the 1st epoch or I would say discovered, anyway it came from the age of the sun and this language sturs the world, you can use this language to use spells but simple ones such as a small wind or a small fire" Leopold explained, the two spent the next few minutes talking about the language, not about the lore of it but about the writing and how you would pronounce it. "Try to summon a small fire using with I thought you," Leopold said, Elijah had a dumbfounded look on his face"We just spent the last two hours talking about this language, I barely know how to pronounce a single word." Leopold rolled his eyes "It doesn't matter if you know how to pronounce it well as long as you know what you are trying to do then nothing else matters" Elijah cleared his throat and then spoke in an ethereal language [Ball of fire] The air around them surged upwards to one point Elijah's palm sweat slowly flowed down his face as he squeezed his eyes shut In the next few seconds, a tiny spark took Elijah's hand "See as I said, if the intention of what you want to do is clear, then pronouncing it won't matter..but if you're trying to call upon a larger power then that's when the pronunciation matters, we will spend the next few weeks learning this language once you head home I want you to review all we learned" Leopold smiled then he got up off his seat, he went to the counter then went to the back in a few minutes he brewed two cups of tea. "You can leave at noon, we have a lot to study "Elijah shrugged. the two spent the entire time talking and reviewing, and by the time he knew it, it was noon. People started walking into the store they were mostly women, and they starred at him with lust in their eyes, Elijah cleaned up and then left (should I take the horse-driven carriage back…or I could walk back and finalize myself with these streets more) Elijah went around different streets each had there own unique style 'kings road were the rich 'snails walk' was the middle class and 'countland' was the lower class the building were broken down as no one had lived there, Elijah observed the neighborhood (seems like the lower class struggles a lot) Elijah saw an old man hunched back on the street floor, he walked over to help the man "I need…i.. I need…to ..give …this ..to .." the man had a high fever and his face looked pale "where do you live?" the man didn't answer for a while then he pointed to an apartment across the street, the street was filled will a lot of carries, no one seemed to carer about this dying man on the road. Elijah sighed, then crossed the street. Once it was crossable, the sun was out of view, and the sky was cloudy
